Melody listened quietly in the background as the man gave his plea. She was still perplexed on why this Celestial was so willing just to add people and help people she didn't know....she was making it far too easy on herself for someone to take advantage of her kindness. And she considered them family....with the way they were going, it was putting this 'family' at risk, so she hoped it was for a very good cause or mission.
But just walking out on the situation wouldn't make any sense, and something about the group struck her oddly, so she merely nodded and replied "I will accompany you."

Day 8 Late Morning
Rikku
"That makes 7." Rikku said happily. "So I am sorry if you feel that I am rushing you, but I would like to leave sometime today is that ok with everyone?" She asked calmly smiling, content.
Killian
Killian didn't even wait for Rikku to finish her sentence before he was already up the stairs Repacking his stuff!
Ty
He just nodded. "just tell me when you all are ready to leave and I will be ready." he stated very formally, he was still shocked how Polite, sincere, and humble the priestess was, he was used to dealing with the corrupt, wicked, and demented.
Rikku
"Ok, Luna? Jaden? Alexander? Melody? Is it ok with you if we leave today?" She asked looking at melody again... "OH!?" She said just remembering. "I haven't even introduced myself to you yet, I'm Rikku." She said with a genuine smile. "Your name is melody correct?"

Luna quietly stood up as Rikku asked if she was fine with leaving so soon. Why wouldn't she, she would have to leave sooner or later anyways. Starting to walk to her room, she looked at Rikku a moment. "Thats fine." She wasn't in a talking mood at this moment, wouldn't really make a difference anyways, she is usually quiet. Walking down to the room she stayed in, she started to pack her items she had with her.

Jaden was always ready to leave, he was always on the move, so this wasn't different. At least he had a few people with him, he could trust, or so he hoped he could possibly trust but, they did seem to be the kind he could. "The faster we help Killian, the better." Standing up, his smiled faded, he did want to stay here though, it was nice not having to sleep on the cold ground, watch your back every night but, now he had friends, and he couldn't just let them run off and have all the adventure to themselves, it wasn't his style. "I'll be outside when you are all ready."
Walking outside, he sat on the front steps, and pulled out one of his throwing knives. Flipping the knife up into the air, he would catch it as it fell back down, and would repeat as he stared off into the distance.

"I am All ready too go when you are Rikku, packing for me is rather easy" He said. What Alexander ment was that he had nothing but the clothes he wore too carry, which really was the best thing for him.Being A magic user he didn't exactally have the physique of a fighter, Dimitri had always been thar role for him,That's when he realized now that with ken returning too the capital and Dimitri off on his own that were rather defgensiseless in terms of fighters, of course jaden was here, but he seemed more like a light footmen then a actual solider. Alexander was confident however thay'd find a way too manage.

As everyone was getting ready to head out, Melody noticed that the Celestrial was talking to her now, realizing that she was still a bit in the fog as to what was going on.
"Well, I suppose I showed up at a tense situation, so introductions were understandably out of the question." she assured this Rikku. "Yes, my name is Melody....er, the granddaughter of TerraCotta's Father William Vritania." she added, a bit less formal as she shuffled. Usually the response was either 'I didn't know he had a grandDAUGHTER' or 'Really?' and proceeded to stalk.
"Though I must ask, what brings you so far out of the safety of the city and way out here? What quest are you all on?"

"We're looking for a way to bring back the old islands... and I think we've found it." She stated calmly "We are looking for the "seeds" of the great tree, they are hidden with in people with certain specialties, for example, Alexander, is the seed of wisdom, Ken is the seed of strength. Ty, is the seed of love... but we can't get ty to activate the seed inside of him, without him accomplishing something first... and I believe it has something to do with a woman Named cefia." She stated explaining the story thus far. "The only things that trouble me, are the fact that we have already been ambushed once, and a group that I don't know very much about galled the dark raven clan... I sent a letter away to the capital asking the king to look into it for me.. .but who knows how long that will take." She sighed.
"Oh? Father Vritania, it has been so long since I've seen him! He helped me so much when I first became the high priestess of sakura, he talked about his kids often... that man has been through alot, I'm so sorry about your brothers." She said sincerely. "Trust me.. I know it can be hard to put on a strong face, and move past things like that..."

Killian got all packed up and came back down the stairs with his magic bag slung around him. "Remember if anyone has anything that is too big to carry, or they just don't feel like carrying it, I can put it in my bag." He said happily. "Now since we are all ready lets get this show on the road!!!!" He said happily.
Rikku
"Ok, Well dang, it looks like we are all ready, Ty, where is lady Cefia again?" She asked bluntly.
Ty
"T.. the harpy forest." He stated kind of wide eyed at her.
RIkku
"Ok then lets be off to the Harpy forest!!!!!" Rikku said...
(The Group!)
The group said their goodbyes to Ken, and Walker and left their house, headed for the canvas plains and harpy forest!

Morning Day 10
THe Group had passed through the canvas plains and iron gate in record time, making almost to the harpy forest in 2 days, the group made camp just outside the forest, the tree's looming overhead ominously.

"yaawwwwn." Rikku stretched waking up. Looking around to see if anyone else was awake, and noticed that killian was gone, "probably on a walk or something she sighed looking around before starting a fire using her magic and getting the cooking items out of Killian's bag. "Am I the only one awake? Really?" She thought aloud.

Hearing some noises in the camp, Jaden grabbed hold one of his throwing knives he had under the pillow, he turned to the direction of the noise, and tossed the dagger, out of pure habit, just missing Rikku's ear, and imbedding itself into the tree a few feet behind her.
Realizing what he just did, Jaden swore loudly, and scrambled out of the bed roll. "Sorry! Did I hit you?" He asked in an apologetic tone. "That was pure instinct! I'm so sorry!" He finished getting out of the bed roll, and looked at her, hoping she was all right.

Rikku didn't even flinch she just kept cooking a stew of some sort. "Well, you didn't hit me, so no harm no foul." She said happily. "Breakfast is ready... but it appears you and I are the only ones awake..."
Ty
The smell of real food had ty up in an instant. He was used to eating whatever garbage he could scrounge up, but this... this was real food and it smelled good. "Um... May I..." He asked gently.

"Of course!, Help yourself!" She said looking over at jaden. "So is that just a reflex that I should be ready for from now on?" She asked calmly and completely serious.

"It is one that formed when I was traveling alone. Whenever there is noise when I am asleep, I usually toss a dagger in the direction of the noise." Looking past her, he looked at the dagger that only stuck about a half inch to the handle in the tree. "I'm not yet used to traveling with others." Looking over at the food that was cooked, he breathed in deeply, enjoying the flavor of the scent. "Once I get out of the habit of not sticking a dagger under the pillow, it wont happen."
Standing up, as he finished the sentence, he walked over to where the dagger was and pulled it out of the tree, gently tossing it onto his bed roll as he walked back to where the fire was. Looking at Rikku as the fire made her face seem as if it was glowing, he spoke again. "Well... At least its nice and peacef-." Stopping mid sentence as Ty woke up, and started talking, he quickly realized he was almost staring again, and wanted to look away, anywhere, but found no other place to really look at, so he awkwardly looked about at the fire once more, listening to the fire crackle, and the birds morning songs. "Any ways... Good morning."
