KTweirdchick dumbledore is not dead ok, i have reccomended this guild to 3 people and they have all applied, i have made over 50 posts and have been in the guild gor like 4 weeks so does that mean that i am eligible to be early sorted? how do i get early sorted?

I'm thinking that we have Fall Term begin on September fourth.
Seeing as how in the books it usually starts on the Monday after the first of September...
Ya?
I could start working on a calender for the term...
Any other dates that I should put in?
Maybe we could try to be ambitious an try to plan for the events right now too
so I could add those to the Calender as well...

What if we had a pajama party. Those who don't have any could just go in their skivies. We could do rafles and give out undergarments, pajamas, and maybe even a few donation items that are very sleep-over-like...

biggrin I'm really glad we have a set date to start because, everything was kinda chaotic wuthout any dates set in stone during the Summer Term.
As for Halloween event, I think it should be a tradition. They tend to celebrate this holiday more than others ( besides the Christmas holiday leave).
As for any ideas at this time I'm drawing a blank (Leave me alone its & am, I'm not a morning person, lol).

The Halloween Party: making it a tradition sounds good.
Pajama Party: Sounds like fun too
Christmas Event: we could do again I have some ideas that might be fun(surprises twisted )
I also think we should maybe have an anniversary event for the guild; what do you think?

So, Fall term begining on September 4th is a yes?
If so, sorting week would need to begin this upcoming Monday (the 28th)
And I think I can have the lists done by at least tomorrow
...depending on if I feel like banishing people...

Chance to Save Members from Banishment OK, this is a list of members who have not made a singe post since February 27th.
That's an almost six month period of inactiveness!
But there are a lot more students in this list than usual and even an ex-mod
So, if anyone feels the need to vouch for any of these people,
just say the word and I'll save them and, instead, PM them...

I know, it makes me a little sad too...but I just can't stand having so many members and no one posting...
plus I sorta like having smaller but more active numbers...it makes more of a community...

Also, since I'm doing too much at once to open yet another window to send all the mods PMs:
I'd like all the mods to think about who they want to be Prefects and Junior Prefects. They will pobably be your most active or helpful members. I need two Junior Prefect Names(one third year and one fourth year) and two Precect Names(one fifth and one sixth year) Obviously these are the years these students will be in when the next term starts. (I've edited the entrance hall list to what the years will be this next term if you want to use it as a guide) If you have a year with no students in it, I'm afraid you cannot substitute with another year, what you can do is encorage a student from the year above or below your empty year to apply to be held back or skipped forward. (if you look at the lists in the entrance Hall, you'll understand what I mean) So, 4 names, one from each house from 3-6. And to make more active prefects, I suggest you ask your prefect first is if they are willing to take on the job. (This is requested due to complaints of inactive leadership) Well, I hope that made sense...I'm just trying to get this year up and running at full speed to encorage members to return.

Your job would be basically to help the Prefects and Head of House(me). You would also help to answer any student's questions. Finally, you will need to try to keep on top of house activeness. PMing members who haven't posted in a while. (You would be able to ask me any time to see post numbers, an I could make them more available to you if you'd like as well.) It's not too difficult and shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes on any given day. But you will need to lead by example; posting often, visiting the guild at least twice a week (or posting in the common room that you will be gone), and keeping in touch with me, your fellow Junior Prefect, and the regular Prefects.
If you're interested in this position, please PM me back as soon as possible so that I may put your name on the list. If you're not, that's quite alright, but I'd still need you to PM me as soon as possible so that I may try to find another in stead. If I get no reply by the 31st, then I'm afraid I'll have to ask someone else, and if I don't find someone before the 4th of September, then the spot will have to remain empty all semester.
