Queen-of-the-Rogue Aphrodite makes a living making people fall in love and then later breaking them apart. Originally she only allowed the pretty people to marry other pretty people and the same for ugly people. Well the pretty people were getting to pretty and before long they would surpass the gods or so the legend went. She either killed them off or made them start marrying ugly people. It's been years since I read that myth so I can't remember all of it sadly. I've probably left some things out but I'm typing up what I remember. Then there was the whole Helen and Adonis fiasco's. I didn't know that version....

If it has to do with the twins I could probably tell you where I read it but the other gods and goddesses not so much.
