Jen turns and looks at Isto... looks him up and down... then he frowns again... "Your new brother is a lot of work." then he picks up his pipe... completely cleaned... and plays a little melody that he made up himself... only one wrong note... it sounded quite nice to him and he couldn't help but grin a little... "I wasn't going to learn... but you can't do Monkey signs without spelling... I got a book on it. It's by a Skull Monkey named Wendy... she's deaf too.................................................................. ............................................................................ that means that your brother can't ever hear my pipe.... wait til I tell mom that... she'll be wishing she'd gone deaf next... " he glanced up at Isto... "You alseap?"

"He is a lot of work," Isto admits, shrugging. "but he's worth it. Banda can't help that he's deaf." He falls silent when Jen begins to play the pipe, expecting the screech from earlier... pleasantly surprised by the tune that takes its place. "I didn't know there were any Skull Monkey writers... Banda's teaching me. And yup, he can't hear anything."

Quinn comes in dragging a dejected and resistant Wuto with her. He is wearing a harnass and leash and looks even more resistant simply for this fact. After a little struggle at the door, Quinn finally gets Wuto into the room.
"I think its time you socialize with other SM, Wuto. If you would have come on your own, you wouldnt have had to wear the lead. I tried explaining that to you... Don't look at me like that!"
Quinn looks around the room. "Sorry to interrupt. I don't think we've met. I'm Quinn and this..." Quinn drags Wuto closer, "is Wuto."
Wuto grumbles under his breath. You can only catch about every 6 words, but none of them are particularly friendly.

Jen watches the new Sm come in... and then hears his introduction... Jen Slides back until he's sitting right up against the sofa where he's just barely touching Isto...
"I'm Jen... I make puppets and play a pipe... " Then he thought for a second and added a bit... "I workout every morning." he grinned.
((can't seem to stay here in the guild... my comp doesn't like it... smile will survive though ))

Isto stiffles a snicker at Jen's 'introduction', instead nodding a greeting to the new SM and his owner, eyeing the lead for a moment before speaking. "And I'm Isto. I don't need to work out," he adds, mostly to tease Jen. "It's nice to meet you both. First time here?"

I'm very sorry... gaia has obviously gone screwy and I can't see posts... besides it's 3:00 am here and I have work to do...
