"It is a dry life I suppose, it is fun for a while, as you enjoy the wonders of an immortal, but after a bit life does grow boring, until you find something to change it." She looked at Zack, "You are my something different. Oh, we are getting closer to the lake too, I can feel the moisture in the air."

"Both you and I." The water slid down her face, leaving strands of wet hair clinging to her cheeks. "I do enjoy your company, Sir, but not so much in the middle of this city. Is there any place that you can suggest we might go?"
"I haven't fed in this city yet. Honestly, the thought makes me a bit uncomfortable. But do you feed on mortal blood at all anymore?" Adelle looked at Cooro curiously.
"Do you honestly believe that a pack of filthy dogs will defeat us?" Caine responded cynically. "Moon or not, we both know that a battle will only occur if necessary." He fingered the cylindrical viles of serum hidden inside his coat, counting them while walking.

Cooro nodded, "I guess that makes sense. No," Cooro smiled, "I only feed on the blood of animals, I will occasionally for my work, if it must be done, but I have never changed a client into a vampire."
"Do not count solely on that my brother. You don't know the specifics before they are right in front of your nose. Only then can one judge the outcome." She spoke calmly, keeping perfect pace with Caine.

Miles laughed proudly, "I wouldn't say she's either of those, but I guess you could say that." He stood on his tiptoes, trying to look around like Somni. He deflated, both in height and spirit, then asked Somni, "That building you're on wouldn't, say, have an elevator, would it?"
Marie ran straight into a door. This was the third one. "Golly, maybe I should have asked Miles to come with me." She said aloud as she rubbed her forehead. Turning to her left, she started again down the nighttime streets. Mm, this is boring. Guess I'll go back now.

"Thank you for being it." She said grinning. She paused taking a deep breath, "Are you ready?" She asked Zack, traces of the moonlight caught in her eyes.

"Yeah I think I'm about ready." Zack said with a grin. "After you, Mara!" He said brightly gesturing to the lake.

"I'm pleasured to meet you Mr. Arien, however this isn't the time for ceremony." Boro walked over to a table with a map of the area, there were many maps upon the wall, they and the room glowed a faint amber color in the candle light. "This is our position." He pointed to the center of the map. "Damian you and Hannah take the moderately wounded out of the tents and into the moon light, this may speed up there regeneration, those who sustained greater injury won't benefit as much and should remain where they lay. As for Julian and Arien you two will scout around the camp keeping an eye out for the enemy. As for me I'll be going to the river to get water, does everyone understand?" He looked to the four knowing the fate of his pack may hinge on total strangers.

Danju nodded. "Since I am on your territory, I shall do as you ask." He said bowing and backing out of the tent to scout around for any vampires that might come too close to the camp.

Mara slipped thought the leafy bushes. She reached back to Zack, knowing what do expect of the lake. "Come on, it really is a beautiful sight!" She told him excitedly. She pulled him though, and finally turned to show him what she was talking about.

"Do you find feeding off mortal blood immoral?" Adelle giggled lightly. Though she considered Mara and Cooro family, she had been self-raised on the blood of humans. "I suppose I could try your way of feeding. But won't we have to travel into the woods to catch a decently sized animal?"
Somni leaned over the edge of the building and looked down at Miles. "I wouldn't know, I just got here. I'm going to go a bit farther down the street though. I'll see you there." he playfully saluted Miles and Ollie. Somni stood on the buildings edge, teetering on the brink. He fell, allowing the air to catch under his wings and pull him upward.
"As you wish Boro." Julian gave a slight bow. "And thank you for the hospitality. I'm sure we all know you are taking a great chance by allowing outsiders to stay." He exited the tent, found a supplies pavilion to place his clothing, and took to full form. Standing some seven feet tall, Julian now appeared as a hulking monster lurking about the woods.
"Echo..." Caine stopped and gave a hard stare. "Do not mistake my confidence for foolish arrogance. If we don't enter this battle whole-heartidly, then we may fail. Obviously our other members have not arrived, and may no intention of doing so. With just we two, faith in our superior strength is all we have."

Marie stopped when her walking stick suddenly hit water. Mm, what's this? Am I in the right place? She had come across a lake as her confusion lead her out of the city. She knelt in the grass along it, playing with her walking stick in the water. A frog croaked at her in annoyance. She tapped it lightly over the head, pushing it back into the water and giggling. "Silly frog. You belong in the water," She laughed at it, hiding faint despair over being lost.
Miles frowned widely. "And what, he didn't tell us where to go? The nerve of some occult people!" He said in mock annoyance to Ollie. He paused for a long moment, then shrugged. "Did you see where he went?" He asked her sheepishly, kicking at the dust in the road.

Gleaming crimson eyes saw her, realizing her handicap. She's blind. He thought with a demented grin. The full silver moon, in all it's glory, had driven his mind to hunger; breaking away from the clan, he could not help follow the sweet scent of an innocent young mortal girl. How wonderful she'll taste. A trail of drool escaped his gaping jaws, as he prepared for the attack. The Lycan dug his razor-like nails into the dirt, with a firm footing. Hurry now while she's turned to the water! He lunged, a crazed look in his glowing eyes.
Somni scouted over the city with keen dark eyes, but could see nothing. He settled on the pinnacle of the old abandoned church with a sigh. There is no way she would have left for the forest. Though he doubted himself.

Zack looked at the lake with a look of awe. "Wow.... it is very beautiful Mara." He said putting an arm around her shoulders, hoping that there were no vampires around to make Mara feel shamed by showing his affection for her.
Danju turned into his Garou form, and prowled around the territory diligently. He didn't want to be involved with this war, but he could not undo what had been done. There must be one nosferatu that will share my view. At least one. He thought as he kept watch, using scent eyes and ears to keep watch for intruders.
Arzachel sighed. "I know how you feel." He said. "The place that I find relief is the rooftops. I used to be able to have nice walks in the forest, but with things the way they are, especially with those d***ed Aeacus fools around." He said with narrowed eyes.

Vincent walked for a few hours after parting ways with Lucius wondering what this new world would hold for him before he was somewhat excited but now he felt the stinging pains of fear throughout his body, it went down his spine, through his arms and all the way to his fingertips. He shook his head and threw the thoughts from his mind, he was smart enough to know shaking did him no good. But why can't I stop? He thought to himself. He could see the forest it almost called to him, he knew not to go in but something about it seemed right; He walked in to it not sure why, he saw a young woman by a pond, but he felt something else like cold eyes boring through his skull and hot breath beading down his neck. But the smell made him feel hungry.
