One by one, the clones began to disappear amidst the fray. However, this was all merely a distraction. Jubei was silently coming down upon her from above at high speed, a fiery red Rasengan in his hand. He hurled his hand down upon her in hopes of ravaging her body enough to end the fight.

"Really? Is this the lie you try to present to me? You care as much about me as you would any tool. If I was dead, your care for my funeral would be the same care for a broken tool; cast aside to be replaced by something more useful..."
Rikou didn’t even believe what words he was saying, but he felt obliged to saying them for some reason. He couldn't figure it out, but without consent, the words just rolled out unwillingly. Rikou then started to remember the times spent with Emi and Hiro, maybe they did care for him or maybe it was just an illusion created by a child's memory.
"Maybe I'm being too harsh about this after all..."
Rikou couldn't concentrate, his thoughts raced on a mile a second, uncontrollable. His twisted expression died down immediately and one thought came last among them all as Rikou seemed to turn back.
"Maybe I'm wrong."
Rikou seemed to calm down, realizing his weakness when not in the company of others; he would begin to doubt them. When he realized this, Rikou realized he was afraid of being alone and when no one seemed to help him, it hurt him emotionally to a point of insanity. It was all clear now that was why he liked to help people, so they would like him to be around with them.
"I'm sorry Emi, I must had become delusional, I realize that I just don't want to be abandon and when no one seemed to care, I snapped. I didn't mean to hurt you or anything I just said, you were right and I was wrong."
Rikou's displayed an expression of guilt topped with the burden of a realization of fear. Now that Rikou knew his fear, he could try to overcome it and become stronger. Luckily he recovered before extreme mental damage was done. The thought of someone he knew turning into the enemy was no small contribution to this and it could be truly erased if he himself could try to confront Mai, but Rikou was sure that wasn't that wasn't the path he was destined for.

Mai noticed the rasengan, but a little late. She did get hit, on her arm, because of her attempts to jump out of the way. She was also pushed back by the force of the rasengan, all the way into a tree, where she fell on her butt.
"Ow, frig." Mai said, closing her eyes in momentary pain.
"But I guess it would have hurt more if I'd gotten hit..." She spat, wiping some blood from her mouth, that was brought from the clone hype earlier. Of course, the knock back probably did some damage as well, none of which Mai could feel. She stood up shakily, holding her arm while her hand glowed a nice light green. The rasengan injury would be too much for her to heal completely, but she at least stop any more tearing of the skin.
Forming her hands shakily into the hand sign, tiger, she inhaled a bit, before releasing a large amount of fire, once more.

Emi had listened to every word, her eyes wide with confusion...and as much as she hated to admit it, hurt. The things Rikou said to her hurt her a great deal, more than she let herself believe she could be hurt.
He didn't mean it. He was just upset. People say things like that all the time when they're angry and upset, but they don't mean it.
Emi smiled hesitantly, and stepped forward. "It's fine, Rikou. I was wondering what was wrong...and now I guess I know. I'm sorry we weren't there for you; things got pretty confusing back there."
On an impulse, she hugged him. It was a very un-Emi-like move, but that didn't matter at all to her at the moment. Rikou was safe, although he was still wounded, and-
Emi, you idiot! He still needs his wound looked at!
She stepped back quickly, and looked up at Rikou. "Heh, sorry. Come on, let's go get that wound of yours checked out."

Jubei was able to dodge the fire, using the advantage of Mai's shaking to move quicker than she could make hand signs and his Byakugan picking up her chakra flow.
"Give it up, Mai!"
The chakra around his body began to take an actual form. Two fox ears manifested around the top of his head and three fox tails melded from behind him. The amount of heat now being produced from the crimson chakra was incredible, as it was visible to the naked eye, and the chakra appeared to be boiling.
Jubei landed on the side of a tree after avoiding the flames and proceeded to leap from tree to tree, getting closer to Mai with each jump. He threw his right arm forward, sending out a clawed hand made from his own chakra directly at her.

"No." She said, just as she was hit with the claw.
Right now, she didn't care if her family was watching. Her only intent was to get Jubei.
Pulling out three giant windmill shuriken, the Uchiha was able to have them attached to nearly invisible strings.
Throwing them at Jubei, she could control two of them with her hands, and one with her mouth. The sharigan allowed her to do this, and the jutsu was called Sofushasan no Tachi , or Manipulating Windmill Triple Blades.
As she flung them, her point was not to hit him. But, that probbaly wasn't known to Jubei.

Jubei's Byakugan was able to pick up the strings attached to the massive shuriken, but it would not matter soon. The chakra claw wrapped itself tightly around Mai's body and began to squeeze. The sheer size of the claw nearly enveloped her entire body and the heat radiating from it burned.
"Take this!"
Jubei moved his right arm back, causing the claw to pull Mai off of the ground. He swung her about and hurled her into the sky, hoping to disrupt her concentration of the jutsu.

"Okay that one hurt.... bad." Mai said quietly, after she was flung into the air, with burns covering her from his chakra.
But her concentration was not lost. Flipping back to face him, and letting go of the strings, to fling them towards a tree, wrapping Jubei up as well.
That was the entire point of the jutsu. To immbolize the enemy.
Then, she formed the tiger handsign again, and exhaling fire towards him.

Jubei looked up at Mai as she sent the fire towards him. He could feel his chakra destroying the strings, burning them into nothing. Using the combined power of his own strength and the chakra, Jubei was able to break free from the strings, but the fire was now too close to avoid. He braced himself and protected his face with his arms.
When the flames cleared, Jubei appeared to have received a very slight amount of damage. The chakra had protected him from the bulk of the fire and in its anger, the chakra branched out and formed the face of Kyuubi. It roared at Mai, as if making a threat on her life. Jubei returned to his stance, glaring at Mai.
"Are you ready to end this meaningless fight... or must I end it myself?"

Mai was unmoved by the roar, well, except for being blown back a bit.
She touched ground, as gracefully as ever.
"End it? I thought we were just getting warmed up?" She laughed, hands forming signs faster than their sensei, Kakashi. But, of course, Jubei could probably still see them with his byakugan.
She seized her right wrist, and generated a current of chakra to it. A perfect chidori.
She started running towards Jubei, her speed like her father's.

Jubei's eyes narrowed as Mai came sprinting at him with a chidori. He quickly began to move his hands around as if constructing a sphere. The crimson chakra aided in creating this massive ball that soon began to twist wildly. Indeed, this creation was a rasengan, but one of a much higher power than the usual.
Jubei strengthened his stance, prepared to collide with Mai in a matter of seconds. He held the rasengan back in both hands, keeping its sporadic twisting under perfect control. The moment Mai would strike with her chidori he would immediately return with his rasengan. He felt as though he was reliving his father's own experience.

Mai smirked as he formed a rasengan, of even higher level than before. Mai didn';t shy away from this one, as her own chidori was powerful.
Taking her last step, the Uchiha girl pushed herself towards Jubei, and thrust the chidori at him.

Jubei focused his mind and forced his hands in front of himself, his rasengan colliding with Mai's chidori. The crimson chakra swirled about her blade of lightning, surging with pure demonic energy.
"RASENGAN x10!!!"
The massive red rasengan began to twist even more violently than before in an attempt to consume the chidori.

"Sasuke, don't you think we should stop them soon?" Sakura asked, never taking her eyes from the fight.
Sasuke nodded. "If this attack turns for the worst, we will. We don;t have to worry about Jubei. Just get Mai." Sasuke replied.
Akira watched all this with interest. So, the Uzumaki carried on the nine tails power, huh? This could prove to be interesting.
Mai gritted her teeth, feeling the rasengan taking over her attack, so she forced more chakra into it. It working, and the chidori began to take over.

Jubei could feel the chidori piercing through the swirling sphere. The crimson chakra around his body moved towards Mai, consuming her body in various spots. It began to burn her in an attempt to break her concentration. Simultaneously, Jubei forced more chakra into his rasengan and focused it into the center where the chidori was striking it. The rasengan only increased in power and speed, yet remained perfectly stable.
