I live right by the great lakes, so the only hill anywhere near us is a 50 foot cliff. Its a bad area for skiing. Never skated before either. Basically we just get a lot of it. Our average is 56" (1.5m) a winter and two winters ago we got 107.5" (2.7m) a record for the area.

wow. When I was younger we use to sled in our backyard, also when we'd go back to my grandma's we'd sled on her yard too, but i much rather go skating and skiing ^^

Yikes! I...don't think a cliff would suit sledding very well o.o; well...upside to all the snow is plenty of snowcream! =D
I'd prefer skating too but...no places to skate here. I'll stick to sledding till I find one |D

Sledding can be so much fun. Especially with friends, when everyone ends toppled up at the bottom. XD
My own favorite snow activity would be making snowpeople, forts and igloos. skating and skiing are really fun, too. =3
Hm, I don't know how to say this in english, but do you prefer ski de fond or ski alpin? (Err, I guess skiing on mostly flat planes/tracks versus skiing down mountains?)

Speaking of snow ... HOSHIT. D: Like .. almost a foot of it overnight! Yesterday when we went to sleep there was a tiny dusting of it ... and now BAM. O_O

I've posted about it over at Juno's profile so that she knows about this bug since she fixes those sorts of things. So I'm wearing it both to let her see exactly what I'm talking about (omg, you should see it from behind, LOL!!!) and because I'm a perv with a terrible sense of humor. I get endless amounts of giggling from it.
Once it's fixed I'll be wearing the gro-gaine 'stashe there (as that also causes me no end of giggling). I can't wear the two together currently, though. The death whisper girdle knocks all panties right off. And if you put any back on, they knock the girdle off.
Meanwhile, I shall continue to flash and moon the world heart I need to go play zOMG some more so that every time I fight like this, I laugh my a** off whee
