Tanu's red and green eyes looked over at the approaching Ibazi with very little interest. She had heard of his clan and was not impressed. They had come to Shimagakure when it was in the making, but it seemed his clan had thinned out since then. A weak bloodline. The Kun 'Kumo's eyes lit up with a bit of fire as he challenged her. "Challenge? We'll see about that," the girl said with arrogance as she squared her body up with his. Sliding her foot forward in the sand, Tanu brought her fists up to her chin. With one quick large step, she moved in close to the Ibazi and threw two jabs right as his chin. There was no formal bowing when it came to fighting with Tanu. If you asked to fight with her, you best be ready the moment you ended your question to ask.

She doesn't think this is gonna be easy does she? The moment she brought up her fist Sorri knew exactly where she would try to hit him, such a slow starter this girl, sure her form was insanely tight for her level of experience, she had just became a genin but her fighting skills were much better then his own, but she had a down fall, she would have to be much more unpredictable to be able to touch the Ibazi. He quickly leaned to his right, dodging the first fist, and then switched over to the left, dodging the second both only hitting the hair that tailed behind his head. "Pfft, come on." His movements would link to his next act, his attack.

The fight had just got started but i had allready began to draw in attention from children and fishermen, they even vegan to bet. "Three fish on the white haired kid." "I put five fish on the girl!" Sorri heard it going on nothing would distract him from a spar, last person he had actually fought had been Kun Kumo Kana this fight would be nothing like that.While still leaning to his left from dodging he turned his left foot to the out side and lifted his right on struck at Tanu's side. his hand flew and gripped ath the sand as his next kick stretchered even higher striking her tanned cheek with the face of his foot. Both kick giving the the same amount of force, with no intend on pulling back.

As Tanu's jabs hit nothing but air, her brows furrowed in displeasure. She was fighting a genin that had two years up on her. Bearing her teeth, Tanu's feet quickly moved in the sand, causing it to kick up to their knees. She heard people gathering and calling out bets. It distracted her, causing her to leave herself open for the Ibazi's attacks. Already she had realized that he was skilled and her assumption had been wrong. Now, she wasn't devoted her full attention to him. As his foot came out, Tanu dropped her hand to block it from hitting her. Her forearm took the blow instead of her side, but as she dropped to block her side, she left her face wide open and immediately realized it. Before she could move backwards or even bring her hand up to guard, she felt the swift kick to her tanned face.

"Mother-!" the fiery Kun 'Kumo started as she whipped her head around quickly to try and lock eyes on Sorri's falling leg. Even before the green and red eyes located the position of his leg, her hands were already in motion. Quickly her arms raced out to grab the kick before Sorri was able to place his foot back in the sand. Before getting a tight grip with both hands, Tanu drug one foot in the sand creating a wave of dry earth in the air. Making a sliver of a the moon in the sand, Tanu's sweeping leg went straight for the planted foot of the Ibazi. Lifting it up from underneath the sand at the last moment, her leg sling shot right into Sorri's ankle, hopefully knocking him off balance and sending him to the ground.

Tanu's angry counter happened faster then Sorri could anticipate it. They were going move for move since they started the fight but the moment she grabbed for his foot that it wasn't looking good, when he fell first first a small cloud of sand lifted into he air and fell back down. Pushing a palms against the sand to try and get free did nothing but agitate his back and add on more pain, Sorri shook his head out of the hot gravel and spat sand from his mouth while keeping his teeth gritted to keep from shouting out. Sorri tightly shut his eye when a bead of sweat slid into it, He had been sweat ferociously at this point and he had gotten even angrier then Tanu, how did he let her gab him like that!? s**t...if he had gripped her up instead would he have had the upper hand, maybe. His toes stretched, causing gritting feel between them when he tried to ringle his way out again.

As Sorri hit the ground and his face went into the sand, Tanu swung her leg over him and sat on his back while he tried to push himself up. "Give up, Ibazi!" the Kun 'Kumo hollered as she wrenched his foot backwards while sitting on top of his back. She leaned as far as she could, pulling at his muscles and trying to push his face into the sand. "If I were a 2 year Genin, I wouldn't be face down in the sand by a second day Genin!" the girl snarked at him with a huge grin on her face. It was exhilarating taking down someone who she knew was far more experienced than her.

The headache he had gained from the combination of the heat off the island and the heat of the land was making him woozy.He feel the most awkard strech of his legs and a presuure down on his back, and hus face was once again burried. Temorarily blinded the words came to mind after ther were shouted by his opponent.Give up?...give in? Sorri let his gripp on the sand loose ready to agrre before she spoke of their experince difference. Tanu was still new to being a ninja, strengh was all she truy knew, so if she was using her full arsenal, so would he. His chakra transpoorted to one of his held legs in no timeand loosened it. After gettign it free, he dugged the leg into the sand.One! "Nawanuke no jutsu" still under the sand, he voice spoke in whispers.

Kiba, still with a rather strange feeling about Shin, finally made his way onto the shoreline with the charm pocketed. He did not see any sign of his squad leader, but he did, however, spot Tanu sitting on top of someone who's face was burried in the sand. This kept the dark eyes of the new genin from distinguishing who Tanu's unhappy seat cushion was. With a small chuckle at the scene and with a bit of pride at the fact that he had a team mate like Tanu who could take down a more experienced genin. Walking over to Tanu in no great hurry Kiba casually called out "Hey! Tanu! Who's that down there between your legs?" As he awaited Tanu's response Kiba could not help but wonder if the victim was still conscious or even alive. Such curiousity caused the young Raiken to poke the unfortunate fellow in the foot with the end of the Raiken staff. It did seem like the unfortunate fellow had been down there for a while...

While the Ibazi struggled underneath her, Tanu felt that her weight wasn't enough to keep him held down in the grapple. As she heard Kiba's familiar voice, Tanu stood up, acting like she was letting him go instead of him really escaping. "Its just the Ibazi," Tanu scuffed as she stepped back to let the genin get up and breathe. She rolled her shoulders and rubbed at her cheek, hoping that her tanned skin wouldn't show too much red from where the white haired boy had managed to lay a hit on her. "Hey, where's Shin?" Tanu asked as she realized that Kiba was alone. "He told me that he went to go get you and to meet at the shoreline," Tanu explained, remembering the shock she had received at hearing the Nara knock on her door before she was even ready to leave this morning. "I haven't seen any of the chunin around yet," the girl added in as she looked around the docks. She hadn't been paying attention lately. The only voices she had heard were the fishermen who were trying to place bets at hers and the Ibazi's sparring match. She felt like she had already won, even though they hadn't fought for long. It seemed a little pointless for her to go on, since she was sure that she would win anyways. Kiba was the only one she knew of that could probably beat her in a spar. "Hey, Ibazi. Who's your squad leader?" Tanu demanded as she crossed her arms high up on her chest.

Sorri slipped out the moment she let go and the fishers went off and gave the winner his wages. Sorri huffed and layed there a moment, she definitely fought smarter then him, she blocked his attack instead of going for a dodge and then when the moment of an opening came up she went for a grab. He squinted at the sight of her partner, he must have been the kid who insisted on poking his foot. While they chatted Sorri stood and shook off sand, this wasn't over until one of them could accept the lose and he wasn't anywhere near done yet. Leaning low into his run and scooffed when she question who was his sensei "Don't let a tight grip give you a big head." He lifted of the ground with a light jump and his foot squared of with Tanu's abs as he went flying at her. After the two collided Sorri went into a roll that ended up with him having her in the same grab that she had him.

Kane stepped off the boat, all insecurities and worries wiped off his face. He had to look more like a leader and less like a follower now that he was a chuunin. Although Kane understood his duties, he was nervous. What if his team didn't accept him? What if Shinichi suddenly turned around and announced that he'd made a huge mistake? Shima wasn't exactly a big place and word would spread. He'd just have to make sure stuff like that didn't happen, then. Taking a deep breath he looked up and across the beach, looking for the telltale cropped red hair that he'd been told Tanu had, as well as for her teammates, Kiba and Shin. He wondered if they would come to the beach to fetch him or if they'd meet later at a predetermined place or perhaps be summoned by the Kage. Kane was especially looking forward to seeing Shin again since well, he was the only familiar thing in their whole setup. He really should have got to know the students better, but well, now he had his chance with his team, he philosophically supposed.
A scuffle a bit further on caught his attention and he directed his gaze there, not at all surprised to see the flashes of red that meant Tanu. There was another boy next to her poking the boy on the ground with a stick who looked like a Raiken. Was that Kiba, then? It seemed like they were getting rough already so early in the morning. Examining the fight, Kane could say that their skills seemed to be on par or better than his, with regards to taijutsu at any rate. This was kind of embarrassing... and it only increased his motivation to work harder. He couldn't be shown up by his genin team!
"Kun'Kumo Tanu, Raiken Kiba?" he asked cautiously. "Where's Shin?"

Kiba listened to Tanu, but before he could respond he saw the Ibazi who had just been face down in the sand suddenly attack Tanu. As quickly as he could Kiba pulled out his trusty bokken and lunged toward Tanu's assailant in retaliation for her with two sword strikes in rapid succession. After completing this strike his attention was instantly arrested by the arrival of someone onto the shore who inquired about Kiba and Tanu's name. The young Raiken looked at him for a while before suddenly exclaiming "Kane-san! You're here!" A friendly grin came across the new genin's face to welcome his new squad leader, but it quickly dissapeared when for the second time Kiba was asked where Shin was. "Uh, I'm not really sure. He got a letter from his mom, said he'd see me later and ran off..." Was that all that happened? Kiba hardly remembered. He still could not quite put his finger on it, but there was definitely something odd.
