"Let's see if the grid's back on..." Zeen said, plugging his TV into the wall socket. He pressed the power button, and the screen turned to static. "Yes!!!! It works!!" he said, rushing to the phone. "Dial; work" he said, as the voice command phone called his station. "Greg, the grid's back on! send the signal!" he said into the speaker.

"Sure, I'll take some." Rave had never had sugar in his tea, but it couldn't be bad seeing as so many people liked it and he did need something sweet to calm him down. "Thank you, Gambler." He was thankful that she was being like this with him, and Rave made a note in his mind to do the same for her.
In the streets, Dusk sighed and pulled out her phone, calling Kyoshi. She didn't know why, but she just wanted to hear him. Walking down the streets, Dusk waved her hand slightly to take some money from a couple as they were kissing in the rain. "How romantic..." Rolling her eyes, she continued to walk.

Kyoshi answered his phone without looking at the ID caller on it. A force habit in not doing so. "Yo." He said as a way of greeting. The seraph wasn't much of a phone person and should really learn to have phone manners. Sighing he lit another cig. "Hello?" He said as a better way of greeting.
The boss smiled broadly at Rave and winked. "Anything for my favorite elf." She teased and poured some green tea into a nice mug. "I don't know how much sugar you want but don't put too much that makes you get diabetes...." Thinking on that she looked at him curiously. "Can elves get that?" It was a odd question but it got her curious about elves.

Blinking slightly, Rave shrugged, "I have no clue. I haven't heard of anyone getting them, but our system isn't that much different than a humans, so I don't see why we couldn't. We just don't use the same sugars that people here do so... I really don't know. Ask Eldin." Taking a sip of the tea, Rave was surprised that it was any good, seeing as he had noticed that the tea here wasn't as great as Ellwood's.
Dusk grinned, "Yo? Why... Hello there, Old Man. I see that I was right in calling you that judging by your wording..." She didn't say who it was, but it was obvious who was calling Kyoshi and who was calling him and old man.

Kyoshi felt his eye twitch and started to scowl into the empty bar. "Why you little brat! Don't call me a old man." Even if he was a old man. He could propably be in the World Records book but that would cost him his head, seeing as he was a hitman and all. "Now what's up?"
Nodding slowly she got herself a mug of green tea but didn't put any sugar in it. She prefered it like this because it did calm her and who would want a hyper Gambler anyways? She was a handful as it was. "Do all elves eat fruits?" She asked.

"Basically. Some of us don't, but for the most part it's about a third of what we eat, half of what we eat is this herb bread and meat. The rest is just random stuff that we like." Rave took another sip, content at the moment. Kalore wasn't going to be okay, but there wasn't much else that he could do at the moment. Though the next time that he saw Monty, Rave would have to keep his composure...
Smirking, Dusk grinned into the alleyway, leaning against one of the walls of some building while taking shelter under a fire escape. "See? I told you you called me a brat..." She laughed and shrugged, "I dunno. I'm bored so I called you. You doin' anything?"

Rolling his eyes, Kyoshi was wipping down the counter of the bar. "Yes, I called you a brat now go tell Rave about how much of a meanie I've been for calling you that." He drawled and finished up his cig. "I'm in Zaine's bar. I'm just cleaning it up a bit. Where are you?" He asked, concerned. He would always be concerned for her.
"Ah.....Is there such thing as a fat elf?" She asked. That was highly odd but she didn't think so. There was such thing as a fat angel and she's actually met that fat angel before. He was also a grouch so she rarely sees that guy. Thankfully.

"Hm..." Rave had to think about it, "I don't think so. Our metabolisms are very fast, and our food isn't as fatty as the stuff around here... So even the ones that are older, like Lord Kyin, are just fine... I'll ask Eldin. He knows more about that than I do. I was for the military and such things like that." Rave took another sip of his tea.
Dusk rolled her eyes as well, "I don't know where I am. Somewhere in south." She never really knew where she was because Dusk never really had to pay much attention. "What are you doing there?"

"Military, huh? How many did you command? Did you have fleets? Air support?" Gambler leaned closer because she wanted to learn more about Rave and his people. She was looking like a student at how attentive she was. "Did you have ninjas?"
Kyoshi shrugged to himself. "Just thought I come in here and make sure the place wasn't broken and stuff like that. You want to come in here? It's your place after all." He said thinking of how dangerous the south of the city was and was thankfully that it wasn't.

I like this house so much better. Way quieter than my old one in the northern part of town. Zeen thought.

She smiled, "Sure. I'm gonna be a little while though. I've been using my shadows a bit more than normal... So I'm just gonna walk, okay? I'll be there in about twenty minutes." Dusk knew that it probably wouldn't take that long, but it was just in case something happened.
"I was in charge for about twenty generals, who were in charge of their own divisions. We had alchemists, mages, archers, sword masters, medics, assassins... About everything, but no, we didn't have ninjas." Smiling slightly, Rave took another sip, finishing off his drink. "Air support? I guess we did... I don't really know what you would consider air support though."

Gambler's eyes went big and she had this look of wonder on her face. "Wow. That is freaking cool!" Thinking for a bit, she sighed and shrugged. "Air support like choppers, jets, fighter planes with awesome machine guns or flying horses." She said with a small smile.
Kyoshi's scowling face turned into one that smiled into the half dark bar. "Okay. Just be careful." He said and thought about making her a drink when she got here.

"Aren't I always?" She grinned and kissed Kyoshi good-bye. "See you in a little while, okay?" Dusk began walking in the direction of the bar, smiling at the thought of meeting up with her Kyoshi.
Laughing slightly, Rave's face barely showed anything as his eyes lit up. "We don't have that because we don't need it. We live in a forest so most of that stuff would be useless. Ground work and magic is basically how we fight. But we very rarely have any need to do so with ourselves, and other races are simple to fight if we can get them in our advantaged territory..."

Kyoshi chuckled softly. "I'll see you then." He said with humor in his voice and hung up the phone, glad that the place was quiet and empty because he was getting excited to see Dusk. His Dusk.
Gambler nodded. "You know, it would depend on your enemy. Some might be at least one step a head of you in thinking that that's what you want them to do. I mean, it usually doesn't cross their minds because most are arrogant in what they think they know and do. I mean....That's my point of view of it. I would either do the same by getting them in my territory or do so in a compromised territory that neither one knows about. You know, leveling out the playing field." She said and looked at him. "It would suck if we were pitted against each other. It would be like a fight that would never end." She was sooooooooo happy to have Rave on her side.

Chuckling, Rave nodded, "The thing is, very few people, save for the elves and the Dracokins, really know what we can do. Most people consider us like the fae. We tend to be able to dispatch an enemy pretty easily." He smiled, but there was a look of promise in his eyes that showed that Rave was more than just a pretty face. Much more. "And I am very glad that we're not against one another... That would be quite difficult..."
Moving easily, Dusk made her way to the bar with plenty of time to spare, and no problems. Knocking on the door, she entered with a small smile on her face. "Hey there."
