No one said anything for a while so Kalore just did what he always did in situations like this. He brought his knees up, laid his head on them, and stared at the floor. Seeing as Monty wasn't saying anything, Kalore was left to make his own assumptions. In his mind, Monty was a demon that thought of him as a weak, pathetic, fool who needed others to make him seem loved or something. Kalore felt his body collapse a little at that thought, but what could he do?
Sighing, Rave nodded, "And I feel the same for Kalore... He's someone that hides everything... I don't think he's shown his true self to anyone here other than me, and I'm guessing now Monty. That may be something that plays a part in this." He kissed the top of her head. "Calm... Calm..." Holding her close, Rave continued to stroke her back, calming Gambler down the best he could.

Gambler nodded and was in truth calming down. Whatever magic Rave was doing to calm her down it was working. "Your good at calming me down. Do you have degree in calming people? It's working." It really was and whatever his secret was she wanted to know that one too.
Monty sighed and ran a hand through his hair, angry that he was doing a poor job of this. What the hell was wrong with him? 'Everything' His mind said. Yeah that was right, everything was wrong with him. Standing up, he started to pace.

Ears twitching, Kalore looked up slightly to see what Monty was doing. When he saw the pacing, he figured that his assumptions were right, seeing as Monty couldn't even stand to look at him. Sighing silently, Kalore felt something in him start to crack as he just looked back down, collapsing a little more.
Smiling softly, Rave kissed her softly, "No, but I do know that I don't like seeing you like this. Stay calm, and I know things will be fine." Rave didn't like to see anyone stressing over anything, especially someone that he really cared about.

Monty stopped to say something but it didn't come out so he started pacing around again. Stopping again he said the first thing that was on his mind to Kalore but looked down as he said it. "I don't know what to say Kalore. I don't know how to do this." There, he said something and then he started to pace again. The demon was willing to make this better, somehow.
Gambler smiled at Rave and hugged him close. "Your too good to me Rave. You deserve a medal of honor or something." She said and serious that he was too good to her. More than she deserved.

Looking up at Monty, Kalore blinked a few times, confused. "What do you mean? You don't need to say anything." Mouthing that out, he continued in his thoughts, Because I know that you're only doing this so Gambler doesn't kick your a** into next millennium... Kalore was positive that there was nothing between them, not like there ever was. He didn't like that, but he wasn't lying when he told Joker that he would back off.
Rave smiled softly, kissing her forehead, "No, I don't, Gambler. Just stay with me, and that will be fine." Smiling again, he pulled her close, hugging her gently. It was corny, but it was true with what he said.

Monty shakes his head and stops. "I have to say something. I want to say something but.....I don't know what it's supposed to be." He said softly and honestly, pacing around helping him keep calm and focus on what's going on.
Gambler smiled warmly at Rave. "Of course I'll stay with you. Where the hell is there for me to go but with you?" She asked with a slightly tilted of her head. She wasn't the roaming type. As soon as she found a anchor she stayed for however long. Rave was her anchor and she hoped that they stayed together for a very long time.

Smiling softly at her, Rave nodded, "Okay." He gave her a small kiss. Rave didn't think that Gambler was the roaming type, but he didn't know how long she would stay with him. In his mind, Rave wasn't a person that was worth keeping because things like with what was going on with Kalore happened all the time. Who wanted to put up with that?
Kalore didn't react for a while, but soon sighed. He might as well just get this over with, seeing as he would just stew on it while working for Eri. "Do you care or not?" Looking at him, it was obvious on the type of care that Kalore meant. Monty had been unclear and wishywashy on it the whole time, and that needed to stop. "And this answer is what I'm taking for good. I'm sick of this, one minute 'I do', the next, 'I don't', crap." Normally this wouldn't be said to the demon, but Kalore really was just sick of it.

Whenever she was with Rave she always seem to feel as if she was on cloud nine. She was, especially with someone as amazing as Rave. "Sooo, you don't mind if I beat people up who looks at you the wrong way or talk to you the wrong way or try to steal you away right?" She asked, looking innocent as she said it.
Monty stopped and looked at Kalore. He growled softly and bit it back. He was starting to get mad. The demon was going back and forth but that was because he didn't know what lay ahead if he did go with Kalore. He hardly knew the elf and he wasn't going to just jump him and live happy. Hell no. He was cautious in all his dealings with people, even his most those close to him.
"I would be lying if I said I don't care but I can't give you want you what. I told you before my reasons. You had asked me if one day I would think about going with men again and I told you that possibly with understanding and patience but you don't have neither one." He sighed and looked at Kalore with seriousness. "I don't change over night Kalore and you should know that. Now go back to what you have to do without me on your thoughts. It would save you from making a big mistake." He said, even though it was hurting him to do so.

Eyes narrowing dangerously, Kalore bit his tongue and just nodded. He couldn't say anything because if he did, then he would just be cussing this man out. He hadn't been patient? How else would Kalore have dealt with this for so long? What Kalore didn't understand was how anyone could be as patient as trying to be understanding as him seeing as Kalore had just been through hell and back.
Without saying anything else, he took in a few breaths, calming himself down. Monty didn't want to do this, so fine. He would be nothing more than a comrade to Kalore, the elf able to push the crushes and such from his mind. It would kill him but hopefully once he got his voice back then he would be able to just focus on some other things, like getting those pills back, and problem solved.
Rave smiled and rolled his eyes, "I would rather you not, Gambler..." He didn't like the idea of her doing that for him, seeing as he could obviously handle himself.

Gambler glowered at Rave. "I don't want some random female looking at you like food and trying to steal you away. I would kill any female who would try that." She pouted because she really wanted to do that, even if she can anyways, at least she wanted that to be okay with Rave. You know, she thought of him as her equal in every way.
Monty stood there and looked away from Kalore but not moving to leave because he wasn't going to do that. He wasn't not going to be viewed as coward by walking away from this. Or he was most likely waiting for Kalore to beat him.

Kalore was slowly getting more and more aggravated with Monty just standing there. He knew deep down what was going on, but this was just too much. He had had break down after break down in front of this man, and it made him mad because Kalore never showed that weakness in front of anyone. But Monty had seen it. If he really thought that he was the only one having to think about things hard with this, he was wrong. "Anything else?" The words were cold, even to Kalore, but that was just all he could say.
"Not that many people look at me like that, Gambler... And you don't need to kill people." He didn't want her to go through with that, seeing as there was no need. Kissing her pouty lip, Rave smiled slightly. "Now... Would you like something to drink or eat?"

Clenching his jaw, he did the defensive thing and let the ice go back into his veins. "Nothing that concerns you." He said, his face not giving anything away and his voice just as icy as his veins. Though he didn't need to say anything, those words just came up.
Sighing softly she hugged Rave. "You don't see what I see Rave. I'll try not to hurt people then and yes I would like something to eat....." She smiled at him. "What do you feel like eating?"

"Ah... Well, I'll take someth-..." Rave tilted his head to the side, groaning. "Well, damn..." He had heard the ice in Monty's tone and knew that Monty probably wasn't the only one using it. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair, "I don't think they're going to make up at the moment..."
Kalore glared and just went back into that ball form, ignoring Monty. "Fine." If it didn't concern him, then there shouldn't be any reason for them to be here at the moment. Kalore had a three month trip to pack for.

Gambler should have been pissed off to hear that. Well she was but it was the kind of pissed off that came after this sadness that came over her. Sighing she rubbed the bridge of her nose with her fingers. "Damnit...." Was all she could mutter. "Okay. Okay. Okay.....Okay.....It's their problem and they will solve it when the right time comes. Okay?" She looked at Rave.
Monty narrowed his eyes at Kalore. The demon walked past Kalore to the front of the door and stopped. "I suggest you stop acting like a child and pack. You wouldn't want to keep your elf waiting." He said bitterly and walked out of the house, stalking away to anywhere but there.

Before Rave could answer, he heard what Monty said and had to grit his teeth to keep from lashing out. "Fine... But if Monty insults him or does what he just did again, I am knocking his demonic a** out and into a whole new hell." Eyes dangerous, Rave was getting close to the same dangerous man that he was when they had fought Lisan. Not a good thing.
Kalore narrowed his eyes and just stood up and went to his room. He wasn't acting like a child because he had actually faced the problem, but when Monty answered, it made him mad. Kalore had been patient and had been trying, but no one deserved to deal with that. No one. Going into the room, he found that Rave already had a bag there for him, making a small smile go on his lips. His friend knew that Kalore hated packing and just would want to sleep. So, he did. Falling to the bed, the blonde elf passed out quickly.
