Edward got a sinking feeling, "What? What happened?" He took his arm back from Jack and looked at Inuyasha.

Jack stood up straight, and looked from Inuyasha to Ed. He hadn't really been paying attention to what was being said, so he didn't know what was going on.

He took it, it reminded him of his pocket watch, that showed he was a state alchemist. He looked at it, tears in the corner of his eyes but he refused to let them fall, "Who did it? Who killed her?"

Nina watched, speechless, she didn't know what had happened before she had came, she didn't think someone would have died before....it just made her situation more real to her, they could all lose their lives.

Fury filled his eyes, but it was a different fury than before, it was one bent on vengence, "Where is this 'warlord'? I'M GONNA KILL HIM WITH MY BARE HANDS!" He shouted, "Dammit, why couldn't I have wound up here sooner?" He pounded the side of the boat, hard, "I could have saved her, or done something!"

Jack just watched, stunned. His situation hadn't seemed all that bad, before. He hadn't even really got hurt. He wasn't sure what kind of relationship that this kid had had with the girl, but... If something happened to Nina...
