Laurent glanced over at the girl, then asked, "Do you have anyone pursuing you?"

"How would she know that?" Symas answered for her, "She was unconscious. Besides if anyone was following us, they'd have to have been in that scrap with the brigands."
Ausan drew in her legs and and wrapped her arms around them. "I... I'm a burden..." she mutters to herself.

"What're you talkin' about?" Sophie asked, sitting on the edge of the bed next to the girl. "It's adventure for us, and I've been itching to go on one!" She grinned a little. "A few brigands aren't going to scare me off!"

Tamryn glanced through the room at everyone. Then she shrugged, "I'd be willing to go if Sophie and Laurent are."

Sophie smiled more and held her arms out to Tamryn. "Yeah, of course I want to go! But, you don't have to if you don't want to." she said.

Sophie gently tugged on Tamryn, and pulled the elf into her lap, wrapping his arms around her from behind. "Exactly. You're stuck with us."

Sophie grinned and replied by nuzzling into Tamryn's back, though remained quiet, curious as to where they would be going.

"Eh?!" Ausan gasped, surprised, "I-I mean I n-never really asked you to joins us." She looked at the others then to Symas.
Symas only returned a smile. "Relax, Ausan," he consoled her, "More companions make for a more memorable journey. As for where we're headed... Well I guess you could anywhere that isn't here is our destination."

"Huh...that's rather vague.." Sophie said, putting her chin lightly on Tamryn's shoulder. "But, I suppose the travel to the destination is the adventure, not the actual destination." she added, grinning.
