"A beautiful name," Symas said as he took the sword from her. He held it up to observe the craftmanship. "Do you maintain it regularly?" he asked as he twirled in a couple of times in his hand.

"Of course! My sword is my livelihood. It's my life. I have to make sure it's well maintained, or it'll get damaged or broken." she said, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I assure you, I meant nothing ill," Symas said with a chuckle, "I find weapons to be fascinating." Symas took another look over the sword then handed the sword back to Sophie.

Sophie smiled and sheathed her sword again. "So...does your friend here tend to wander off on her own a lot? You sound like this isn't the first time you've had to chase her down."

Laurent glanced at the others, then looked out the window again. He perked a little as he saw some armored men enter the town, then reached up, pulling the curtains down. "Are you...being tracked down?" he asked quietly as he returned to his seat.

"Uhh... Not to my knowledge," Symas replied, "I mean I doubt those brigands that tried to rob us would follow me after the thrashing I gave them."

"No... They were wearing ratty tunics with some bits of armor sewn on," Symas answered perplexed, "Why do you ask?"

"There's a group of knights out there with impressive armor. They don't look like they're from here, either." he said, pointing at the window.

Ausan turned over and slowly opened her eyes, looking around.

"Perismisstic much?" Symas said with a chuckle. He then turned to Ausan. "Morning, sleepyhead."
Ausan sat up and looked at the strangers around her. "Umm... Symas..." she said in a quiet voice, "Do... Do you trust them?"
Symas nodded. "I mean they did get you here unharmed."
