Merlin stroked her hair tenderly, No, but you've locked yourself away...locks need keys don't they? You're the only one who can set yourself free. Not me. Not your Tien or Troden. Not Lina, even though she is quite wonderful. Only you.
He also stopped by the bar, "Cuervo on the rocks." Service was sharp here, he had the drink he'd ordered within thirty seconds. He winked at the barmaid, "Cheers." he sipped and smiled, "Very nice." He turned his attention to the dancers. Some were good, some where not so good but everyone was having a great time and the music was still pounding. He was duly impressed.

Tara said nothing, not even through mindspeak after Merlin spoke except for one thing, "Merlin..if something happens to me, promise me that you won't go after my brothers. I don't want you to get involved in my brother actions...Promise." That was all she said before she sat up and hugged Merlin tightly.
Monaleth, quiet footsteps stopped as she stood next to Tyran, her eyes scanning the area. She knew most of all of the regulars faces, vampire and human alike and most knew hers as well. Being the head of security second only to Merlin herself did that for her. Her gaze stopped as it rested on Tien and then the man nearby, "Do you trust him?" she asked Tyran, not indicating whether she meant Tien or the new man.

Tyran surprisingly didn't flinch as Monaleth suddenly appeared on his side, for he could hear her footsteps even with the music pouring over them. But as she asked the question, a flash of confusion did pass through his face. She must be talking about Tien.. he thought as he let his gaze fall upon being, "Not in the least. Something about him is....strange."

Merlin returned the hug, what a thing to make me promise. She thought privately, "How horrible of you, ma petit." She said it outloud then paused, "I promise you."

Tara smiled, sighing in relief as she stood up, "Troden has gone mad. It was how he always was so long ago. Death was his life, and he knew how to bring others to his side and make death their lives as well. That is something Tien and I don't want. That is what we came to warn you about..." she said after a moment, "But for now I must go. Tien needs me..." closed her eyes for a moment before straightening her dress, "Walk with me?"
Monaleth didn't say anything for a few moments before looking at Tyran, "Is that what you think or your mind?" she asked, her hands lightly hanging over the rail.

Merlin nodded and stood up off the desk, opening the door, letting Tara walk out first then walkign with her down the hall, "That was kind of you. Though it was Tien who made him that way to begin with." She commented blandly. They came up behind Tyran and Mona who were looking down at the dancers.
Merlin sighed, "Oh....I have a new kitty in my Club." She purred softly.
That kitty's eye was caught by movement up above. There were some steps on on them was a gathering of people, four very gorgeous women and a young man. His eye was caught by the youngest looking one, she looked a bit on edge, "Oolala?" He murmered, putting down his mostly finished drink and made his way through the crowd.
People made room for him, he was big enough, anyway. He made it to the steps without much incident and smiled up at the group. He stiffened suddenly when a very odd and almost pleasurable sensation ran up his spine and pricked his libido.
You're new... The voice was decidedly feminine. He wasn't able to move at all, only stand, Such a pretty kitty, won't you stay awhile so we can get to know each other?
"You look as if you've seen a ghost." A woman with red eyes was suddenly in front of him and he blinked, looking down at her. Vampire, he could smell it....she was old too. He grinned, "Sorry about that. It's just I've never seen such beauty in such small incrimants of time." He gave a little bow. I was hoping to ask the young one there if I could have a dance with her." The woman smiled, making his heart skip and he wasn't sure why.
Merlin looked up at Tara, "You have an admirer."

Tara didn't reply, merely giving a hint of a smile as they looked at the dancefloor. As Merlin spoke, Tara glanced at the man, who was by now making his way towards the stairs. She sniffed the air, comfirming the fact that he was indeed feline..some form of it atleast. And she knew how Merlin loved cats...
Monaleth looked away from Tyran, following Merlin down the stairs and soon followed by Tara, in which she silently greeted mentally with each step.
Tara smiled a true smile by the time they reached the bottom, her hazel eyes sparkling now. The smile disappeared and became an perfect 'O' of surprise as Merlin looked her way. She looked at the man, thankfully having to peek behind Mona for the view. He was attractive...what did he want with her?
Tien was taking his time with his drink, feeling much better now that his sister's prescence was nearby. But her friends were with her...No matter, he would just wait unti lthe time was right to take his beloved sister away from here...

Jack laughed, "Why so surprised, I'm sure there are scores of them!" She nodded to Monaleth, "My lady." he greeted before his attention went back to Tara, "I'd be honored if you would dance a spell with me. I'm a perfect gentleman, promise." He winked at her. The undulating lights caught the gold specks in his eyes making them flash.
Ooh, can we keep him? Merlin asked Mona privately. It was meant as a joke really.

Lyra Tyr Lina thought about it for a little and smirked, "That would be a sight to see, me running through the forest chasing a deer..." Remus couldn't help but laugh a little. "It would only be the two of us. I wouldn't tell if you didn't."

Lina rested against him and nodded, "Alright, but it doesn't make sense keeping it secret. The blood of a deer can be smiled miles away..." she said, kissing him lightly.

Tyran looked at Mona, knowing that he really didn't have to answer. She was alot like Lina-sensei in a way. he knew he could trust her.
And then the man entered the picture.... Curiousity coursed through him as he followed the women, eyebrow raising as the man began to flirt..or atleast what the young man thought was flirting. He stayed silent though and covered his elfen ears with his long hair.

Monaleth grinned as she came to Merlin's side, squeezing her shoulder's lightly. I think this cat already has an owner... she said, glancing Tara's way. He's smitten already.
Tara blushed, letting a small sound of surprise escape her as Mona left her stranded and comepletely open to the man's golden stare. She raised her hand for him to take it and nodded, "If your honor is on the line then I cannot say no..." she said graciously. Another lame excuse, but a good one this time.

"Ooh, very smooth! I am forever in your debt for sparing my honor lovely lady." His smile widened into a grin widening, showing off movie start teeth. He took her hand gently in his big ones...her hands actually kind of got swallowed up and he led her onto the dance floor spinning her expertly.
Merlin mock pouted, Oh darn. She smiled though while she watched them get swallowed up by the crowd, This is going to get interesting.

Tara gave a nervous look at Merlin and Mona before falling into the dance. Her red dress, flowing with her as she spun.
Mona laughed before nodding. I'm doubling the security as we 'speak' They both knew that when Tien found out, hell wasn't even the word for what he could bring. Especially since the vampire was old and knew his powers like Aurora did.

Merlin nodded once without responding, her gaze fell on the man at the bar, "The cat's out of the bag already." She sighed, such a horrible pun....
He was, just as he said, a perfect gentlemen. He only touched her when neccessary and only in green zones, "Might I ask your name, loveliest of the lovely?" He moved in very close to her ear to ask her, still managing not to touch her. Not that he didn't want to, she looked absolutely amazing in that dress!

Mona looked over at Tien as well and sighed. Melrin was right od course, "I'll make my way over to him..." she said as she began to walk through the crowd.
Tien had luckily set the glass down as he turned around, for if he hadn't the shards were sure to have been all over the place as he saw Tara dancing with another man. Her movements were free and happy and so was her eyes that held more than just interest within them. He was silent as he stood up, folding his arms as he closed his eyes. This was the calm before the storm...
Tara smiled, flashing the old mischevious smile of the Sulla as she said, "Tara. Tara Sulla. And how about you, my honor-bound dance partner?" It was evident that was having fun, for her movement were fluid, and her tone was...flirtatious to say the least.
