Firestar's breath seem to hitch when Jason slid his hands down the redhead's waist to her hips, gripping her firmly there. Angelica's green eyes widen when the vigilante initiated the kiss. After the initial shock, the redhead slid her arms over Jason's shoulders, then pulled herself closer against Jason's chest – opening her mouth to deepen the kiss. Angelica felt her heat rise, moaning into the kiss. Cold Doubt edited.... I. hate. F'ing. autocorrect.

Emily nodded and watched as Edmond turned his attention onto the other screens. She didn't want to interrupt him from his work, so she slid off of his desk and moved back towards the files. "If there's anything you need help with, just let me know. If you need help or any questions when you meet with Blackstone, just contact me and I'll help if I can." she said as she moved to the floating screen.

When Emily spoke again Edmond wanted to tell her about the Joker and Rosie, but he knew he shouldn't. She had enough to worry about. When everything finally caught up with her it may be worse. Putting more on her mind was unfair. "And if you need anymore help, let me know." He said simply as he watched the looped video of the redheaded girl looking offscreen. She didn't seem panicked or worried. She wasn't exactly cool as a cucumber but she did not seem like she was sneaking around. It couldn't have been the Rosie he left at crime alley. Which was both a good and a bad thing because that meant either another Rosie was in play, or this was one of the ones he had met before. Edmond was unsure which option he preferred. He figured it was a new Rosie. She seemed like she belonged where she was and was perfectly fine staying there. Then again he may have been misreading the small signs he managed to see.

The Rosie on the screen kept to the corner of the camera's line of sight. After a few moments, she turned and looked at something off screen. The little girl moved back, and looked as though she were talking to someone much taller than herself. She kept looking back at the Magic shop, then back up at the person off screen. She said something, then pointed at the store. She seemed upset.

Edmond continued watching the screen. It was odd to him, the number of Rosie's in Gotham alone. then again if something was going to go wrong with clones it would likely be Gotham, few things went right in this city. After a brief time Edmond made the choice that he had to go do something about it. Regardless of what was going on everywhere else Edmond had to tie up this loose end then he could focus on Blackstone. It was better he not be multitasking when he met the man anyways. With his quiver strapped back on Edmond slid his white mask on over his face and began walking over to each individual all panel he had. He seemed to be pressing some specific spot of the wall then moving on. After he had done that Edmond moved over to his computer and began typing quickly. He wasn't really going to kick Emily out, but he only trusted her with everything he had to a certain extent. So he was setting up an alarm incase she looked at files he did not want her to see when he was away. To be honest there were few files he was really worried about he reading. The ones he set the alarm on were almost all related to Edmond Dantes day job and past.

Emily kept flipping through the files until she noticed that Edmond was moving around. She stopped, looked over at him, then turned away from the screens. "Are you heading out?" she asked. "I can pack my things up and head back if you need. My ride will probably be coming back around soon anyway." She didn't want to stay in his office if he wasn't going to be around. She was sure that he didn't want someone hanging around his office while he was out. She knew she wouldn't want someone in her base unless she wanted them to stay there.

"I have a clown to deal with and a child's mother to recover so I do have to go. I am not going to kick you out but if you want to leave you will find that the doors leading to the front are unlocked." Edmond explained as he adjusted his quiver on his back before putting on his secondary, smaller quiver that fit on the back of his belt. "After I deal with the Joker in whatever way I do, I will probably return here to change out of this. Should I visit Blackstone tonight? Perhaps I could find out why he is at the Iceberge Lounge and warn you if he is looking for you. I could also wait till tomorrow night but I can't ensure he will be there."

Emily thought for a moment and looked over at the screens. "I'll head home then." she replied. " I can pull up what files I need there and keep an eye on the Lounge's front doors. If Blackstone leaves, I can let you know that he's not there anymore No sense in you heading over if there's no one there. Whether you talk to him tonight or not will be up to you. If you decide on tomorrow, I can try to find out where he is staying for you, or if he has planned on returning to the Lounge." she offered.

"Then depending on how long the Rosie situation takes I may visit him. I will send you a text if I do." Edmond stated as he opened his desk and pulled out a small device. He slid it under his mask near his cheek. It was intended to disguise his voice. He could talk in a low growly voice all he wanted but in reality all of the small practical tools he had lying around should be used a lot more. The only downside to the current model he had was that it had to be near his mouth and that was where he was hit most so they broke a lot. When he had more time he may try to improve it. Having placed the vocal scrambler Edmond opened the door and waited for Emily to do what she needed to.

Emily nodded as Edmond replied, then went about shutting down everything she needed to pack up and leave. As she finished with her files, she slid the travel drives back into her purse and stepped away from the machine. "I'll leave everything on and alert me if I receive a text from you then." she said as she began moving towards him. "I don't figure I'll be sleeping any time soon. But in case I do doze off, the alarm should wake me up. I'll be able to talk you through anything you need from there."

Edmond nodded to Emily and stood resolute holding the door. "That would be helpful. You should sleep some if you can though. You have had a long night." It wasn't that Edmond was particularly caring but Emily was more useful dead than she was tired. When people were tired they made more mistakes, when they were dead you could easily pin the murder on someone else.

Emily nodded and made her way towards the door. She walked past Edmond as he held the door open for her, then stopped to look back at him. "If... you ever need to, I can give you the locations to one of my buildings to meet at. Costumes wouldn't be very surprising to see running across the rooftops of the area. And the roof is about the only door I keep unlocked." she offered. She wasn't sure if it would be easier for him to just meet here, or if he would rather not have someone stop by the office from time to time. The less she was seen stopping at a lawyers office the better though. At least one not appointed by Cobblepot.

"If it is more convenient for you not to continuously show up at a law firm then I would agree to your idea. But I would also advise you not tell me anything that would put you at risk when I will be going directly against an organization with such effective interrogation methods. If I am captured at some point it would put your information at risk and let's be honest, neither of us want that." Edmond said as he closed the door behind her and locked it with his key. Edmond wasn't certain how effective the Exhibit's interrogation really was but from what he had heard it was probably safer that Edmond couldn't pinpoint Emily's location.

Emily thought for a moment before turning back towards him. He had a point. If it was the same organization she was familiar with, but a different name, then her base wouldn't be the best. At least not until they were all taken care of. She didn't need them getting their hands on NSHU technology. "One of my emergency buildings will do then." she replied. "There's an apartment building in Gotham that I've rented out one of the top floor rooms. I tend to check in on it weekly just to make sure people see that there is someone that comes in and out of it, and that it's not sitting empty most of the time. It's not far from my base, and easy to access through the roof or window."

"Alright, then the next time we meet it will be there. You can send me the details whenever that next meeting time is. Until then it will be easy to reach my phone." Edmond explained as they reached the elevator. The doors slid open and he stepped in. He placed his hand over one of the doors so it would not close and Emily could step inside if she wanted to. He was going to the top floor and from there he would take the stairs to the rooftop. Dressed as he was Edmond could not simply walk out onto the street. He did imagine that would be the path Emily took though.
