Takeshi normally couldn't care less for anything Yarotai said or did, but today he was on a roll. Now it was twice that he had actually said something smart or useful, and though Takeshi really disliked Yarotai, he knew when someone was pulling his leg and when someone was giving him good advice. So he took it to mind, but he made sure to double check himself, incase he needed to change his game plan. Takeshi watched Tairu tumble out of the way and realized that his close-range advantage was now over. So he used Yarotai's advice to formula his next move.
Takeshi had to do something. It wasn't enough that Tairu was twice as strong and twice as durable, but Tairu had also hit him, lowering Takeshi's chances even more. He had to connect soon, or the battle might end with an unsatisfying conclusion. He watched Tairu's movements as Yarotai had said, and saw he moment of opportunity. He would attempt to strike when Tairu's posture would slow his reaction time, but his timing had to be just right, or not only would Tairu be able to dodge easily, but it would leave Takeshi vulnerable to an attack. He waited for the right moment... and lunged for Tairu. His timing couldn't have been more perfect, as he came at Tairu at his weak point, and delivered a gut-busting punch to Tairu.

(Damage) 1 + 3 (base melee) = 4 - 10 = 10 x 2 (from rolling a 20) = 20
EDIT: Random number should be 2 - 7, so 2 - 7 = 7 x 2 (from rolling a 20) = 14

12 + 7 = 19 > 12 Hp: 29/44 (subject to change based on ruling) DB: 15 Tairu heard Yarotai's advice for Takeshi and became a little irritated. Whose side is this guy on anyway? Tairu thought. As he came up from his roll Tairu was going to yell at Miharo-sensei when suddenly all of the oxygen left his lungs. Tairu had forgotten to watch Takeshi's movements and in fact cursed himself for not expecting him to charge. So far in the fight Takeshi had only been aggressive and Tairu was foolish to not expect an attack. Though the punch hurt Takeshi was always slow in his movements and was in perfect range for a counter punch from Tairu. Digging his feet into the ground Tairu quickly delivered a counter hook with his left arm. His fist connected with Takeshi's left cheek. Tairu also felt some kind of pulsating in his head. Mostly in the area around his eyes. It as a minor annoyance but he could feel something there. His head felt hot and his scar tinged slightly with pain. What is this, that I feel? Tairu Wondered. Taijutsu To practice Taijutsu, the students were paired up and sparred against one another. No one was allowed to use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu during the fight. Taijutsu were the only techniques used. The Students kept fighting until 5 HP was left. Takeshi's blood rushed when his punch connected, and he got a sinister smile on his face (like Itachi's smile from the Naruto Shippuden opening 6). But he had left himself open in running up to punch Tairu, so his smile didn't last, as Tairu whipped around and punched Takeshi in his left cheek. Pain surged through his face as he was knocked back about a foot and fell back on the ground with a thud. Blood formed in his mouth as he lifted his head up and said, "Hehe... nice one." His breath was labored and he panted between his words. He remembered this sensation when Yarotai knocked the crap out of him about ten to twenty minutes ago. Still, he wasn't as weak as the scroll specified where the training would stop. He pushed himself off of the ground and wiped the blood from his mouth. He wouldn't last much longer, he had to heal up while somehow keeping Tairu busy. He thought about trying to get in a sneak attack by hiding in the trees, but he hadn't even started training for the Henge no Jutsu, so that wouldn't be an option.
Takeshi thought back to the Taijutsu list specified in the Academy Syllabus and realized that he had now done everything except a tumble. Come to think about it, neither had Tairu, so before he attacked, he openly asked, "Hey, what are we supposed to do for the tumble? I've got enough left in me to continue just for a tumble, but that's about it. Unless you wanna ease up, Tairu, which I doubt you do." Then he came at Tairu with another punch. Time again slowed down, almost to a stop, the sweat on his face shot of his face as he ran, and he could feel his pulse, as if each was an eternity. Yet he failed, fell down, and decided to conceide defeat. He couldn't go for much more and he would rather spend less time on healing. "Hehe, alright, I'm done. Ah, you win." Takeshi then laid down, face up, and burst out laughing. Fighting was something he enjoyed, whether he won or lost.

Yarotai watched the continuing fight in silence not providing any further guidance to either student. They both seemed to be reaching the limit of how much their minds could take and becoming increasingly instinctive in their actions. This wan't a bad thing, in fact it was rather expected for them to get this way after they had been wailing on each other so consistently. He wasn't particularly proud of either one of them but at the same time they were both performing rather well considering their experience and age. The Chuunin shifted the weight of the Uchihas backpack on his shoulder and leaned alittle to his side to ease the flow of blood in his legs. All thoughts of Kaede had been erased from his mind. Taiju had it under control.
When Takeshi flopped onto his back the young man couldn't keep his smile small. If the kid wanted a healing again, he'd have to ask for it this time around. "Well Mr Giggles, it would appear that you're not as bitter as you first let on. Good job Mr Manners, but try not to let someone so much weaker than you put up such a good fight next time."

LV. 5 | Experience: 0/140 | Hp: 70/70 | Cp: 15/15 | MHp: 60/60 ((Let's make it a Nara Satomi then.))
Chouko waddled down the forest path, trying to find a clearing that would suffice for the training she had been slacking off lately. Normally she wasn't so lazy, but there were so many good shounen arcs lately that she couldn't help it! Her excuse for today was, "There isn't a room I can train in without knocking something or someone over." Her mass and all. But this time her sensei wouldn't buy it and told her to suck it up. And her fat. a*****e. And he had the ******** nerve to steal her jump and hold it hostage until she completed the training. Damn it, when she gets back, he is so totally going to buy her lunch.
She reached a clearing in the forest, where trees formed a round border around it. Round like her breasts. Chouko impulsively poked at her belly to watch the fat jiggle at that thought. Looking around, she realized that she wasn't alone, as there was a short scrawny little boy training some sort of glowing paper no jutsu... thing.
'Oh hey, is that who I think it is? Oh no way, its Sa-chan's little brother!'
Chouko remembered seeing the kid a few times while sleeping over at Sa-chan's place in their academy years. He didn't talk much during her stays and even outside he'd keep his distance. Which was weird and Chouko always wondered why. Her gut told her that the kid was doing it on purpose and it told her when to eat. She was confident it wasn't wrong. But she wouldn't know that until she confronted him first.
"Oi! Sa-chan's little brother. It's you right?"

Hp: 29/44 Cp: 24/24 DB: 15 + 2 = 17 After knocking Takeshi back with his bone crushing punch felt the pulsations in his head increase as veins appeared around his eye. The pain from his scar ceased and Tairu's world completely changed. Everyone looked different. Tairu could see what appeared to be a blue, almost gaseous, substance swirling around a complex system if tubing in the shape of a human body. What the heck? Tairu wondered. He looked around, he could see more than just just people, Tairu could animals too. As he turned around away from Takeshi and Yarotai he noticed something strange. Tairu could still see them even though his wasn't facing them. This must be the Byakugan. Tairu thought. He had long thought that it was lost to him as result of his child hood injuries. Tairu was so caught up in his new found ability that he almost didn't hear Takeshi admit defeat. Tairu gave a slight bow, You were a good opponent, may the future allow us to fight again so that we may test our selves." Tairu said before bowing slightly. He then turned to Miharo-sensei, "Well Miharo if I got hurt as badly as you claim why don't you heal me like you did for Takeshi?" Tairu asked him. Rhaim wanted to go get a lighter from his home, return to the forest, and set the exploding tags on fire to set them off manually with how terrible he was with the jutsu. He was at the point that if he managed to fail even once more he would have wasted a second day of training on the technique. It almost seemed to him as if copying scrolls was a more productive way of spending his training time. He kept his hands up near his face ready to press on through the extent of the training since it would at least keep him away from the other students. Perhaps he'd even get a nap in.
The crunching of the earth however halted his plans. He had been so involved with his training that he hadn't noticed the individual coming up on him. Not to his suprise he recognized the girl as one of his sisters friends, likely here to spy on him for his sisters to have more to tease him about. The Nara shooved his hands into his pockets and turned to face the girl. His mouth and nose covered by the red bandana and eyes squinting as usual.
"If you mean Nara Satomi, yes."

Yarotai wasn't too shocked by Tairu's request, though he wasn't expecting it either since he hadn't been hit too badly by the Uchiha. Either way though he was going to do his best to get the boy back up in fighting shape. He hoisted himself from the stump and walked the brief distance from the wood to the boy. During which time he tossed Takeshi's bag over to beside the boy since he had upheld his end of the bargain. The kunai and shuriken however were still in his pouches.
The Chuunin squated down in front of the child, holding his hands out just in front of him. He let the chakra form and trace around as he worked to speed up the cells regeneration and cleanse some of the blood that had leaked from vessels to producing bruising. "Well it seems that you're about ready to do the exams. Cutting it real close though Mr Manners."

As Yarotai healed what minor injuries Tairu had sustained during the fight Tairu tried to deactivate his Byakugan. He concentrated really hard on shutting it off. To his surprise it actually worked. Tairu then tried to the same thing to activate it but to his dismay his Byakugan did not come back. Tairu felt himself feel much better as Yarotai finished up.
That's right, I can participate in the Gennin Exams now! Tairu thought happily.
"Well Miharo-Sensei, of course I'm cutting it close. I only received my Academy Scroll last night. Tairu said. Even though Yarotai had healed him, Tairu still felt exhausted since he had gotten a minimal amount of sleep and had been training almost continuously since the previous night.

Takeshi watched in amazement as Tairu's Byakugan activation. It actually stopped his laughing all together, and simply left him in awe. It made him think about what his Sharingan would be like, and if it would look as cool. He had seen pictures, but he had never seen the Sharingan first-hand. It was then that Tairu responded to Takeshi conceiding defeat, and Takeshi responded to Tairu. "I expect that we will fight again. In fact," Takeshi said, now starting to chuckle, "I'll make sure of it. Hopefully we can stand on an equal foot next time".
Takeshi sat in awe of Tairu's Byakugan and regained his health, just really watching Tairu. Without looking away, he then said to Yarotai, "Hey Kisama, if you're gonna heal Tairu, you've got to heal me as well. And what about doing the tumble?" Takeshi was then done looking at Tairu's Byakugan, so he got up and asked Tairu, "So that's the Byakugan? So what's it like?"

Tairu Turned to look at Takeshi in order to answer his question about the Byakugan. "I am not, really able to describe as that was the first time I have used it." Tairu said before pausing and trying to find the right words. "From what I can describe, I can see in a 360 degree view some how, and I see the inside of people." Tairu said rather vaguely. I will have to seek help on how to control it. Tairu thought himself. The experience had been amazing and perhaps if Tairu had better communications he might have been able to actually convey his amazement.

Yarotai turned a devious grin to Takeshi as he finished up with his healing of Tairu. "Actually I don't gotta. But if you'd like to ask I'm pretty sure that I could make something happen."
The last thing that the young man wanted was for the kid to suddenly think that he had a sense of entitlement. The Chuunin wouldn't ask for much but he wasn't about to give the kids handouts. It's not like they would be getting any once they got out of the Academy and into the real shinobi world. The issue with the tumble was much less direct in it's solving.
Yarotai walked past the stump and towards a nearby full tree. He then pulled the coil from his shoulder and tossed it up into the tree, anchoring it with a kunai. The man turned back to the Uchiha, "Alright. If you really want to tumble then climb the rope to the top and jump off of it. If you're able to tuck and roll properly you won't get hurt. If you do fail though, it'll probably sting a bit."
((DC to beat tumble 12. If you fail take 1D4 damage.))

LV. 5 | Experience: 0/140 | Hp: 70/70 | Cp: 15/15 | MHp: 60/60 Oh yeah, she totally forgot about that squinting habit and that aloof posture of his. Maybe her gut was mistaken then, and the kid had nothing against her. Still, the kid look really gloomy for some reason. No, that wasn't good. This was Sa-chan's little brother, and he needed to be happy more. So, without thinking, Chouko reached out to pinch his gloomy eyebrows and tried to stretch them into happy eyebrows. Or something resembling them.
"Y'know, you'd be more beautiful if you smiled. My mom always said a woman's best make up is her smile. So you should try taking the tacky bandana off. It makes you look like a bandit."
Ironically, while she was speaking, Chouko found herself squinting as well. Though it was mostly to inspect Sa-chan's little brother's face. Yeah, he had Sa-chan's ears but he didn't have the dark Nara hair or the eyes. If she hadn't known his relation to her friend, she wouldn't have been able to guess his lineage.
"And you're so skinny! You need to eat more," Chouko stated, as she poked the boy's rib cage.
She was surprised it didn't crack, upon touch. Then again, if she thought that would have happened, she shouldn't have tried it in the first place but Chouko couldn't help herself. She had never seen someone so small, and that was saying something because academy kids these days were getting smaller and smaller by the year. Sa-chan's little brother needs to drink milk, and maybe some steak to go with that. Kid was skin and bones. No, maybe he was a sweet tooth like Sa-chan and would prefer pork instead.
"Let's go eat out. Treat's on me."
Nevermind that doing so would mean skipping out on the training sensei told her to do. He could suck it.
