My dog is weird. He doesn't flush birds. Well, okay, he sorta flushes birds. You have to tell him to, otherwise he won't.

... except this one partridge he found while we were camping. He spent an hour flushing the same bird over and over and over. rofl

haha wow.. silly doggie
It was actually a little annoying because we were packing up and leaving but the dog just wouldn't come.

I lost him at one point too. Didn't know where he went until I heard the bird flying off again. whee

o yea that would be annoying.. but they always have to choose the best times for not listening eh?
Yeah, it's like he knows when:

a) he can get away with not listening

or

b) we cannot correct him for not listening (such as the above example, as we could not find him to correct him lol)

haha yupp they are smart little buggers. and htey knew that u have to say they are good because they did come back in the end.
My dog self-punishes.

He knows what he did was bad and he'll hide under the couch for about an hour.

Even when we have no clue what he did (ex: he'd punish himself because he went downstairs - something we have no proof he did except for the fact that when we come home he hides instead of greeting us)

Yeah. I've been slacking lately at my job. sweatdrop If I don't smarten up I'm going to have to quit and find a more structured job (this one is make-my-own-hours... and I keep choosing 0 gonk )

I got those grades in high school despite my grammar. But once I hit university I got kicked down to D's and C's. stare Somehow, Chinese peers who can barely speak English manage better marks than me when it comes to reports, essays, and the like.

Maybe... that, or he's just an uber curious dog. It's like it's how he figures out what things are, kinda like a baby who puts stuff in it's mouth. 3nodding

...make your own hours o.o...wow...what do you do when you have a job but work 0 hours? xd ...D's? o.o...there's D's in canada? surprised !!!! you crazy non-west coast you rofl ...yeha..because chinese actually learn english...properly...cuz they dont' know it whne they learn is...so..they learn the grammer...like when we learn french and stuff...I still dunno my french though sweatdrop ...by endlessly sniffing? o.o...
Basically just laze around and don't get paid. crying

A D is basically a fail. Especially in university. stare You pass, but you have to take it again if it's a prerequisite for a different course.

Naw, I'm talking the one's that only speak broken English. Eh, they probably get help, unlike me.

I know very little French. Didn't realize how little until I heard my bilingual coworker talking in French and realized I couldn't recognize a single word.

Yes. Death by sniffing. whee

lol poor girl...I got work tomorrow surprised ...where my aunt works...yay packaging...and hurting fingers xd ...yeah...but...why would canadian education places give D's? o.o...why not F's? lol...we get W's here for withdrawals...and...UN for incompleted? like missing a number of classes and tests and stuff like that...yeah...tutors lol...yay for not knowing french xd ...poor small animals cry
My bf brought home an application form from where he works. I'll probably only be able to work there for the summer... but hey, it's good pay 3nodding

You get F's too... A B C D and F 3nodding I dunno why, it's just the way it works.

Yeah, we also get VW (voluntary withdrawl)

lol yay steel fabrication lol...jsut weird that you have D's x.x ...
??

I don't see what's so weird about D's... I've always had them (except when everything was graded with numbers mad )

well they were sandbagging.. but then by the like 4th day all the sandbags had to go to one of the city buildings becasue well its a city building haha.. my bf's moms house prolly has water downstairs by now.. since its already on teh next block up and that it slightly uphill... but i dont have to worry about my house biggrin

lol couldn't they afford their own sandbags? razz ...stealing from the people...tsktsk lol...no sandbags there? surprised ..dont' have to worry cuz you got more sandbags..or...you're on a higher hill? lol

lol no they were sandbags that the city had made but they had almost all of them down at one house so they could start to protect that area a bit.. and thats right downt he road fromt eh city building.. so they threw them in the trucks and brought them all to their building. well its not that im higher on a hill.. but its more like after the dikes for the river it has 2 fairly big lower areas and then its back to level for the houses. so i guess im on a hill.. but not on a hill? haha

He hasn't worked there since last year. They laid him off and I had to support him until February when he got the job at Maple Leaf (which is where I'm applying)

See, now THAT'S weird. What would you use instead of a D?

My dog'll try that innocent look thing too... for about two seconds until he realizes that we did in fact catch him and that he is indeed a 'bad dog'

I think it's mostly because of his history that he self-punishes. Best to leave the scene and avoid people if they're gonna just beat you with a stick when they catch you. (We got him from the humane society. He had to get over a major fear of men and anything long - especially brooms and the like. He still flinches if you move your hand too fast near his face and he always ducks when you go to pet him. I have no clue what happened to him before we got him, but just by what I wrote here, it doesn't sound like he came from a very happy place.)

EDIT: We've had him for nine years now.

My uncles dog was found by the Surrey SPCA near a dumpster half dead emo He is actually a little stupid though, he gets under foot of the ones he loves, but he acts all vicious around strangers. And he hates when we through a stick for my dog(Scares him.)
Reason why we have him now and not my uncle, he moved to an apartment that doesn't take pets.
And his dog is a little slow like my uncle, and it shows, and its not because of age either(He is old, but not senile, just retarded, probably beaten many times before my uncle got him and started loving him)

Sounds like MY uncle's dog.

But then again... loss of intelligence tends to happen why you get run over by a car.

Twice.

In a matter seconds.

By the same car.

(Aunt reversed and didn't see the dog, felt/heard a bump, and moved the car forward to find out what it was - getting him again)

But he was dumb even before that.

When their other dog was alive, it loved to fetch. This dog didn't understand the concept and chased the other dog instead of the ball or whatever.

Even after all these years, we still can't get him to stop raiding the garbage. He loves the walk the night before garbage day because everyone's garbage is out on the streets and he tries to check them all out. lol

aww we have never really had a problem with our dogs and garbage.. unless there is meat or bones in it.. then our other dog loves it.. other than that he ignores it.. yes some people are really stupid.. a purebred keeshond is about 700 at Petland and that was who they bought him from. just to abuse him in a week?
