Shinzu remained silent for now, unlike the other two his training required metnal focus. After a few moments he could feel the second gate within his grasp. Okay, he knew roughly where the gate was, now he need only open it. So still completely silent he prepared himself to open it.

Masa swung heavily at the target again. "God, why do the chunin exams only come every so often." She attacked again and added, "I mean, I'm ready to kick a** and show some village pride, what about you two?" Next came a kick, which she allowed to follow through before launching a kick with the opposite foot and a thrust. "However ready I may be though, we have to focus on our weak points."

She slashed again at the wooden doll. "For instance, I lose my sword, I have ninjutsu, but almost none of the jutsu I know are offensive. I need to fix that, because all I have going for me is stealth if I lose my sword." Another kick at the dummy. "Shinzu, if somebody hurts your arm beyond repair and Batsu isn't around, you've got your weapons, but maybe learn the summoning technique so that you can store them easier. Beyond that, a few jutsu wouldn't hurt your reputation." She thrusted her blade at the dummy again and said, "And Batsu, you're ahead of the curve already. Keep doing what your doing."

She did another slash at the dummy's side. "It doesn't change the fact that if I were to help both of you increase your chakra pools, or Shinzu led us in some kind of fitness routine, or Batsu taught us a little bit about anatomy, we would all benifit." She hooked the dummy with her leg and brought the sword into its neck.

"You guys can't get over the fact that I'm stronger than you. I've got an ego because of it too. Get over it though. Batsu pisses me off daily, and if he ever asked me for help I would give it to him. He is my teammate. There is a severe ..." She brought the blade down and kicked the dummy's head, launching it up to the ceiling. "Lack of teamwork on this team, and I am part of the problem. What I propose is that we get together and find a solution."

Batsu continued to train. He remembered that the third part of the jutsu was to do what he was doing. Only thing was that he had to go at it in a smaller working area. Eh... it didn't seem like to big of a deal. As Batsu started on his training though, he overheard Masaraku talking. The boy quickly, yet smoothly, pulled off a feat and quickly looked over at Masaraku.

"I disagree with you. The teamwork is there, otherwise one of us... if not more... would be dead. We may not agree with each others' personality type, I'll give you that. But when a mission comes we have each others' backs. We are all not on the same wavelength and until each of us get that through our heads then the problem will continue that really doesn't exist...."

"For example, I know more about anything about anything than any of you two. However, if it comes to fighting alone then I'm just as good as gone. Shinzu is, by far, the best at taijutsu, but if he went up against anyone that knew genjutsu then all his fighting is good for nothing. You, Masaraku, are a terror with your weapon. With that said, you are in the same boat as Shinzu. Genjutsu would destroy you."

Batsu immediately went into another butterfly kick and landed safely despite the fact that he only had a small area to work with. "On this team, we all need each other. That's were the issue lies. There is no "I", it's "us". Otherwise, we'd all be on our own team.

Batsu stopped dead in his tracks and looked over at Masaraku. "I will make you a deal. Help me become stronger physically and I will teach you about some areas that you can potentially take out an opponent with one hit... and yes. Shinzu was right earlier. Working on your aim can make a strong fighter even stronger... in this case, YOU."

((YAY for Batsu's wisdom!))

Shinzu forced out his teamates as he focused ont he gate, that and he was getting damn tired of their bickering... finally he managed to lock on to the gate and began to put pressure onto it, ready to open it, and get on with some other training he had planned. So slowly he applied more pressure, feeling mroe and more of the second gate taking affect.
Roll (10) + 25 = 35 vs 35 7/10

Once again his teamates began thier bickering, and once again Shinzu's focus was broken, now he had to start over again. So once again he went back a step and started to restart the pressure he was putting on the gate.
Roll (4) + 25 = 35 vs 35 7/10,

Thankfully it didn't take him very long to get cuaght up again to where he was before his focus was broken. Soon after that he was putting more pressure on it then ever before, and almost unknown to him the first gate suddenly opened, allowing him to put even more pressure on it.
Roll (12) + 25 = 35 vs 35 8/10

The Gate was pushed to it's limits and the First Gate, combined with Shinzu's growing rage over his constantly bickering teamates pushed it over the edge. With a suddeness like a thunderclap, the gate was open,a nd Shinzu was panting slightly, even as he grew used to his newfound power. Slowly he stood up, so as to not accidently put a hole into the wooden floor.

Masaraku gave the dummy one final blow before walking over towards the boys. "And then there is that." She took a moment to compose herself, trying not to let her anger get the best of her. "Batsu, your smart, but I don't understand how somebody who is so intellectually gifted could be so ..." She seemed to struggle finding the words. "So socially retarded. There are plenty of things that both Shinzu and I are good at than hitting things, and that mentality of yours is exactly what I am trying to discourage here. To say that you are only good as a medic isn't doing you any justice, and to say that Shinzu and I are only good for combat purposes isn't either."

"Everyone in this world is imperfect Batsu. It is our duty as individuals to constantly strive to become better. Even Masters learn a few new tricks sometimes. I will never claim to be the best swordswoman in the world, even if I have beaten every opponent out there, but I will always keep trying to reach my next goal. Right now that is to become worthy enough to join the Seven Swordsmen of the mist, but I am perfectly fine with settling for helping this team rise to the glory of passing the Chunin exams on our first try." She looked down at Batsu and added, "That said, I am all about helping you better yourself. And even more eager to learn what you have to teach me, but you need to learn to be a bit more humble about things before somebody serves you up a nice big plate of humble pie."
She held out the wooden blade at Batsu and swung it, saying "And chances are that that somebody is going to be me." She looked down at the boy and said, "Got it?" She started to drift towards the dummy again and added, "But seriously, we have got to fix this."

With amazing reflex, Batsu pulled out his kunai knife and aimed it right at the girl's throat. "Okay, since we are on the topic of awkward social graces, let's talk about you. Firstoff, you just came down here spewing that we all need to work on our camaraderie, yet you are the one who took what I just said, twisted the words around. I merely pointed out everyone's biggest strong point as well as the area that would do the most harm to them. I never said that everyone was a one-trick pony. That is not my doing. It's yours."

Batsu lowered his weapon and looked dead in Masaraku's eyes. "Now if we are going to get on one accord then I suggest that you drop your weapon and learn to listen to what I am saying. Stop being so damn confrontational to your own TEAMMATE... and your first lesson, slicing someone in the neck is a sure death if there is no medic around. The largest blood vessel is located there."

Shinzu moved with a flash and suddenly he was between Masaraku and Batsu, and thus thier blades. "Yelling at each other isn't going to fix anything." Shinzu said, smiling, trying to defuse the situation. "Perhaps after this is all said and done, we should go a on a practice mission?" Shinzu suggested, it having been a long time since thier last training op together.

Two clones popped up behind Batsu and grappled him, holding his own kunai to his throat. "Sounds good to me Shinzu." She looked at Batsu and said, "You ever pull a live weapon on me again and its the last thing you do Batsu. I'm trying to control my anger. I think that it is best that you follow suit." She gave a small bow to Shinzu and said, "Thank you for being the rock on this team Shinzu. I don't know where we would be without you." She leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. "I'm going to go elsewhere before Batsu does something stupid and we have to explain why there is blood on the floor to the academy instructors." She turned to walk away and added, "Not to mention, I think that we have come a bit to far to keep coming back here to train. I will be at my clan's compound if I am needed for that mission you were talking about Shinzu. You two behave yourselves." Once she was up the stairs the clones faded.

Batsu looked overat Shinzu and stared at the other with a grimace. "If I wanted to hurt Masaraku, I would have done so already. My reaction was caused by what she did... fake weapon or otherwise. And I'm sick of this. I'm going back home and hopefully I'll see one of my siblings and they can teach me a few things about genjutsu. There's only so much bullying one can take before fighting back, Shinzu." The boy turned away from the other and looked at the ground.".. and I'm not gonna stop training here. After graduating, no one said that I had to stop coming."

Batsu eventually shrugged everything off and went back to training again. He went to pulling off some nice combo moves and incorporated some fighting into it, as per the jutsu. He was a little off his game, but it was passable... truth be told. Still, he needed to step his game up. Otherwise, he would be doing everything here in vain. It wasn't something to look forward to, but it was a possible outcome if he didn't shape up.

Okay, this was not pretty. Batsu was not happy with his performance at all. So the only thing he could do was stand there and try to gather his thoughts. ... and he did just that. Batsu stood there in a statuesque position and closed his eyes. The boy started collecting his thoughts and threw the out of his mental window. He HAD to get this s**t done and doing it at a half-assed pace was gonna do more harm than good.

Batsu clasped his hands together and grunted. Soon after, the boy hit this weird looking backflip. He flipped normally, but he somehow managed to land in the same exact spot he started at. Nevertheless, it was a pretty cool feat. Now whether or not it would come in handy during a fight wwas a horse of another color. Eventually he'd find out... hopefully not to soon. The boy had some more to go.

"Just relax Batsu, you're letting her get to you man." Shinzu said, having to resist the temptation to pat Batsu's shoulder, lest he rest breaking it with the second gate open. "Anyway, training should allow you to get your mind off her, no?" Shinzu said, before he suddenly disappeared, and reappeared amongst the rafters of the Academy. "If that doesn't, I'm not sure what will."
