The smell of the wood was what made her feel like she was home. The gentle rocking she so often took for granted was beneith her feet again and she treasured it knowing in a few days the feeling would be gone. Hearing the music upon the deck she found her feet knew the way and she was powerless to stop them. Glancing back at the Captain a warm flush came to her cheeks, her boldness shocked even herself but the feeling of his lips left hers tingly and swollen.
Reaching the sourse of the music she slipped off her slippers and felt the wood under her bare feet. Smiling she joined the dance, not needing a partner to spin her in the familiar dips and turns.

*Aeoess began to fall asleep, and Eittik decided to join in the festivities. Eittik, being insanely agile for a cat, climbed down the crow's nest and observed the activities..Seeing smiling faces, drunken dancing, and story telling, Eittik climbed back up to the crow's nest, awakening Aeoess from her attempt of a nap.*
*Once Aeoess was awake Eittik gave her a blinding stare*
"Alright, if you really think it'll be worth my while..I'll join in.."
*Aeoess climbed down the crow's nest with Eittik, joining in the festivities on ship.*

*Everyone had come home by now, and music was spilling out of the ship. It sounded like fun down there, Omi had to admit. Unable to find a good reason to keep away any longer, she slipped below to where the others were and found a corner to sit in.*

*Having run to his cabin to fetch his fiddle, the Captain stood at the fiferail and overlooked the crowded maindeck. It was a good thing that they had already removed the ship's boats from the deck, for it made for alot of nice dancing space.
As the song came to an end, he took the ship bell's lanyard in hand and sharply rapped out five strong tones. This should draw the Crew & Civilians attention to his announcement. To finalize the crowd's loud bustle, he blew a formal pipe-call on his bosun's pipe. The high pitched shrieking of the pipe seemed almost overkill.*
"LADIES & GENTLEMEN, LAD'S & LASS'S!!!...
I KNOW THAT YOUR HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME, BUT I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT THAT I'D LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOU ALL!
I REALIZE THAT WE'VE BEEN IN PORT FOR OVER THREE MONTHS NOW, AND THEREFORE, I HAVE DECIDED TO HEAVE OUR BOWER AND MAKE FOR SEA. SO, THIS IS MY SET COURSE:
THREE DAYS FROM NOW, THE 'LADY' SHALL CAST OFF HER MOORINGS AND SET SAIL, LEAVING TOULON BEHIND FOR IT'S FRENCH CITIZENS. WE'LL MAKE HEADLAND IN A HALF DAYS TIME AND COME INTO MARSEILLE. ONCE WE'VE TAKEN ON WATER & FOOD STORES, WE'LL TAKE TIMBER & SHALL MAKE FOR BARCELONA ON THE EVENING TIDE.
CROSSING OVER THE GULF OF LIONS, WE'LL HAVE OFFICIALLY LEFT FRENCH WATERS AND MAKE LANDFALL ON BARCELONA, SPAIN. THERE WE'LL DROP OUR POSTAGE, TAKE ON ANY NEW RECRUITS & WHATEVER ELSE SUITES OUR FANCY: PICKING FRESH PRIZE ALL ALONG THE MEDITERANEAN COASTLINE... FRENCH/SPANISH TERRITORY IS PREGNANT WITH 'EM."
ONCE WE AGAIN GET UNDERWAY, WE'LL WHARF OFF OF THE STRAIT OF GIBRALTOR, GAIN THE WEATHERGAUGE AND THEN WE'LL BE OFF FOR LISBON, PORTUGAL. THERE, I MUST MEET WITH A FEW OF MY CONTACTS; MISS DESTINY & A SMALL SHOREGANG SHALL SEE TO REFRESHING FOOD STORES; MR. ILOR WILL SEE TO REFRESHENING THE WATER, AND I SHALL LATER APPOINT SOMEONE TO SEEING ABOUT NEW SPARS AND WOODWORKING TOOLS...
NOW BEFORE I GO ON, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS THUS FAR?"
*Looking around, he saw a few puzzled faces, but he hesitated to continue incase anyone had any inquirys.*

Tayen walked up to the side of the big ship. She could see many people gathered up on deck, and a man that seemed to be, well, briefing them. She guessed he must be the captain. This was the sort of crew she wanted to join, what she wanted to do. But how to go about it? There was very little sound coming from the crew, and she felt it would be very awkward to speak up now. She decided to wait untill she could approach just one person. She'd heard something about 'new recruits', anyway.

"Aside from my duties in the crow's nest is there anything else I should take care of?"
*Aeoess was merely waiting for a response, for once she had patience and was will to see what Kurisutofa had in mind.*

As Baxter walked across the deck he was grumbling to himself; "It's about time we left this godforsaken place. I do hope we are headed for someplace cooler."
Reginald wasn't upset, he was annoyed and agitated. Heat always did that to him, not to mention the fact that he was uncomfortable in his current attire.
In a half apathetic, half sarcastic manner, the Docotor gave this reply to the Captain's announcement. "Hooray?!"

Having made it back to the ship after retrieving her belongings from the inn she was staying at; Artemis listened to the captain’s announcement. After the festivies are over she would have to find “Miss Ares, the Gunnery Officer” to start her work as a powder monkey….Until she proved herself to the crew.

Syn stopped playing and listened to the Captain's announcement, her lips pursed in excitement and her toe tapping the tabletop. Once he was finished, she bowed low, making sure not to topple off. Noting the fiddle in his hands, she gestured to the one she held and called to him with a shrieking laugh, "Oi, Cap'n! Why don't ye and I play a little reel to get the dancin' going again, hey?" She laid bow to strings and started to play again, a new tune this time, a wild 'sun song' that was at first low and slow then high and quick, skipping around like stones over a pond's surface.
She kept her eyes on the Captain, making sure he would join her in the tune. Otherwise she might look a little stupid.

*Knocking away the arrows that the Crew was shooting at him through their eyes, he dodged the last tomato with a smile and got off stage, just in time to join Miss Beaumont upon the Mainhatch.*
"Alright! Alright... if it's fiddle-foolery you want, then so be it. But heed my words, I will finish my announcement!"
*With a defiant upraised finger anda merry laughter, he gripped the slim bow in his right hand, and held the violin under his chin. Plucking the strings, he tuned it. It had been awhile since he played with another living soul. Perhaps this might be a good change.*
"The Cuckold Comes Out Of The Amery... ONE.. TWO.. THREE!"
*The tapping of his foot signalled and away his bow went, dancing upon the thin strings, scratching out a pleasant old-world jig.*

As the fiddle started to play, Baxter walked across the deck towards the hatch to below with the intent of changing his attire. As he moved a very drunk sailor bumped into him and spilled a mug of whatever vile liquid the common sailor drank.
"Shorry, s-s-sir... hic!" the sailor spat out.
Baxter only shook his head and squeezed the bridge of his nose. He pushed past and moved on muttering to himself, "Drunken fool, bested by a bedtime story. Oh well, at least now I have a proper excuse for wanting to change my attire for the evening."
With that little event done and overwith, Baxter went below to change.

Artemis laughs to herself as the "business" of the ship is waylaid by more partying. Not much of a dancer, she sits on her trunk and enjoys the music and show.

*Eittik stared at Aeoess, informing her to not worry about duties or about her past, but to enjoy herself. Looking at the woman (Ares) dancing on the table, Aeoess decides to be social for once and stood on the table as well.*
"Heheh, may I join you?" xp
*She began to dance to the randomness of the captain's fiddling.*
