Yarotai laughed at the poor impression of himself. It almost seemed as if the girl hadn't looked at him once or even tried to look like him. Once again he had lost the attention of a girl to Taiju and this time the Senju wasn't even trying. Perhaps he'd have to concede to letting his friend take her personally under his wing for training. If nothing else she seemed to pay much more attention to the Senju than to him.

The young man held a hand up to the girl in an apology for laughing at her, "Ok. This time actually look at me first. Remember what I said about taking in all the details of a person. I know Taiju is easier to look at then me but you've got to try. The better your Henge, the better you're examining an opponent, which is the better your chances to find a weakness in them."

Taiju cracked a smile before he burst out laughing. He knew he should destroy Kaede's spirit, but he couldn't help himself. Seeing Yarotai with a speech impediment was hilarious. He tried to put a straight face on again, but he couldn't seem to manage it. Then he looked over at Yarotai and laughed even harder. "It's easier to look at my ugly mug? That's a laugh. There's a reason I wear a mask Yarotai." He looked over at Kaede, wondering how horrible she felt at the present moment. "You should try thinking of Yarotai naked. I'm sure that'll make it much easier for you to do." Taiju wondered what her reaction would be, but he did feel a bit bad. He didn't want to scare Kaede off or anything.

Takeshi saw Tairu jump back from his sweep, and realized he could go after Tairu and cause him to fall backwards. He could see Tairu's eyes lightly dart back and forth, watching his every move for a chance to make his move. He wasn't about to let up and give him that chance. He kept on the offensive and followed up with another punch to the gut. He charged Tairu with his fist held back for a power strike. He made sure that he could keep his balance if he missed. Falling from missing Tairu would give him the opportunity to strike because it would lower his ability to dodge.

Unfortunately, Takeshi did miss Tairu, but was able to steady himself. From hsi streak of misses, Takeshi could tell that a full on offensive strategy wouldn't have much success. So he turned around to face Tairu, still in a stance that would allow him to move if Tairu came after him and said, "Hey, I think that we should take it easy on each other, at least until we get everything done. You just need to do a tumble, but I still need to hit you once and tumble. I don't know about you, but it would suck for either of us to wait for the other one to recover, just to get a tumble done. Kisama was going in the right direction with going through the list, but you know, he's retarded."

Rhaim hung his head in defeat as he noticed that there was no explosian following his use of chakra. Though he had just begun his training on the jutsu he could already tell that it was not going well. There was only so much that the body could take when training for a technique and if he failed to learn it again today he'd likely have to wait until after the genin exams. Not something he wanted since he still felt that he needed whatever edge he could get over his fellow students. Though he knew he was much stronger than when he had begun his training, he still thought that the other kids were much stronger and better prepared. After all they were training with a real teacher whereas he was alone in the forest trying to blow up trees.

The boy cracked his neck and brought his vision back to the first exploding tag ahead of him. The things hadn't been cheap and he wouldn't be able to afford replacements if he only blew up two tags again. The Nara channeled his chakra to the forefront of his body and concentrated on resignating the air properly.

Tairu saw his opportunity to attack fast approaching. After Tairu had jumped backwards to avoid Takeshi's sweep he saw Takeshi push the attack. When Tairu landed he readied himself for another attack which came in the form of a punch aimed at his gut. Using his quick reaction time and excellent dexterity Tairu stepped to the side of the punch in avoidance of it. Tairu heard Takeshi's words but also saw an opening. Firmly planting his feet, and then using his whole body Tairu punched Takeshi square in the side of his upper chest. As his hand made contact with Takeshi Tairu could feel the hard ribs that protected what was underneath his chest. It was then That Tairu considered what Takeshi had said.

He is right, about it sucking to wait for one of us to recover but if I defeat him I can still do an acrobatic move on my own. Yes it would seem that he needs me more than I need him. Tairu reasoned. If you want to continue with a lesson format, perhaps you should concede defeat." Tairu said to Takeshi.

Taijutsu
To practice Taijutsu, the students were paired up and sparred against one another. No one was allowed to use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu during the fight. Taijutsu were the only techniques used. The Students kept fighting until 5 HP was left.

Kaede hesitated, and warily made eye contact with Miharo-sensei. She guess correctly, his eyes were black. No facial hair. Not like her father. And his hair was brunette, but not as dark as she thought it'd be. Another thing she didn't take into account was that, while Miharo-sensei was as tall as Senju-san, he wasn't exactly the same height. As for clothes she should probably take his shoes into account, because even if they wore the same uniform-

"You should try thinking of Yarotai naked. I'm sure that'll make it much easier for you to do."

What did Senju-san say again? She must have heard that wrong because there was no way... and he did joke about.... it was just a joke, wasn't it?

The girl's felt sweat trailing down her neck and nervously smiled, like a kid who had no idea what was going on. Because that was exactly what she was right now. And now she couldn't look at Miharo-sensei in the eyes and tried to avert her stare by looking downward and BAD IDEA BAD IDEA!!! And the sad thing was, she knew what that looked like because there was that one time she caught her father in the middle of sexual intercourse with Chouko's mother and he had to sit her down to tell her that it was called a pe- and oh... oh d-d-deeeeear... she was stuttering in her thoughts. Not good. Kaede slapped her eyes closed with her hands and took several steps back, almost colliding into Hyuuga-san. She can't do this jutsu right now, and there was no way she could look at Miharo-sensei the same way ever, ever again and this was just not going to work between them at all AND THIS WAS HER SENSEI SHE WAS THINKING ABOUT and oh nononononoooo...

It was hopeless. So Kaede did what a professional shinobi would do if cornered:

"I-I... uhm...
...
... deep breath
...
...
...

I'msosorryI'lbeback!"

She retreated.

Taiju sighed and shook his head. "Perhaps that was a bit too soon for me to say. So do you want to go after her Yarotai or shall I? We can't have her running around lost in the forest like that." The girl had freaked out much more than Taiju had expected; sure she was skittish, but this was quite out of the question. He had the urge to immediately pursue her and drag her back, but he didn't want to ruin Yarotai's chances with her in the future. Taiju did wonder why Kaede was so upset, most people didn't freak out like that over a joke. God Taiju hated dealing with students. Still he couldn't just leave her, and Yarotai had studnets to take care of. Moving with haste, Taiju sped off after Kaede before she hurt herself.

(Oh, come on. I had this all planned out. Man...)

Takeshi was taken back by someone finally hitting something, though he would have preferred Tairu to get hit, instead of doing the hitting. However, it was a weak punch, not much more than a push with his fist. After realizing that the punch was over, he saw a moment of opportunity to get at Tairu, due to his close range. Takeshi formed a small, sinister smile as he said, "That was it? I've got to say that you didn't get very much out of leaving your guard wide open." It was time for Tairu to get what was coming to him. Takeshi side-steepd around Tairu's arm to get closer, and went with another jaw-shattering punch to the chin. However, he missed. Takeshi was no good with his left hand anyway. Still, he wanted to take advantage of being in close-range of Tairu, so he only jumped back slightly, just out of his arm length.

Tairu thought perhaps Takeshi might admit defeat or at least continue to talk but he did not. As Takeshi came at Tairu with yet another power punch Tairu collapsed his knees and tucked into a clumsy roll. Tairu rolled around to side getting his clothes a little dirty in the process. Using his momentum Tairu sprung back up to his feet and readied him self for the fight to continue. My last punch wasn't very strong but psychologically it must have been powerful that I was the first to strike. Tairu thought as watched Takeshi for his next move. He also knew that even though his punch was weak Takeshi was still far more exhausted than he.

Yarotai was about to burst into tears laughing at the comment by Tiaju about imagining him naked, but the obvious panic in the girls eyes stopped him. He had just opened his mouth and reached out a hand to stop the girl when she started off away from the two Chuunin. Though he was ready to chase after and block the girl, he was willing to let Taiju take care of the situation himself. After all it was his fault that she had broken down, it would do him good to start teaching someone something other than what pain felt like, and Kaede would need someone like that to instruct her if she wanted to develop into a proper shinobi. Not to mention there were still two students going at each other in front of him that he needed to watch. He grinned and leaned forward on the stump choosing not to cast any more words on the situation as Taiju departed.

"Mr Giggles quit focusing on his hands for where his attacks are coming from. Watch his waist and notice how his body weight shifts. When he rocks back you know those are attacks that you must block."

Rhaim just stared blankly out at the distant tags that still remained unexploded before him. With every passing attempt it was becoming apparent that he wasn't likely to accomplish the training this day either. The boy gritted his teeth briefly before returning himself to an even keel status so that he could retain proper focus. His sisters had had enough to talk about the night prior between discussing Cone, Tenma, Kazu, and his failure to learn the Jibaku Fuda justu. The last thing he needed was to hear the same exact hen pecking a second night in a row.

The Nara sighed and resolved himself to carry on with the training as if he had just begaun. After all he did still have more than twice as many attempts as he needed to take care of learning the technique. All he had to do was accomplish every other attempt and he'd actually be able to do it. Though he wasn't that type to try and motivate himself he did need to keep training if he wanted at least a couple hours of peace. There was a tree branch that looked perfect for a nap.

Rhaim watched as the activation symbol on the tag lit up briefly and then died out again without setting the device off. It literally felt as if he had teetered on the edge of succesfully conducting the jutsu. For a few more seconds he stared at the tag wondering if it had a time delay by chance. With a slight gust of wind ruffling up his hair from behind, the child finally conceded that he had failed for the fourth time in a row. He shifted the weight of his body to his left leg and clasped his hands behind his head without moving his eyes. He knew generally what he was supposed to do and he knew generally how he was supposed to do it and he even had done it twice. Yet it appeared that fate was working against him on this one.

The Nara's face remained unmoved as he slowly brought his weight back to center and hands back to in front of his face. His squinting eyes didn't widen or close as began mixing chakra again. Despite what he wanted to think about how much he knew about the technique, the fact of the matter was that he was doing something wrong. Therefore he'd have to try something different instead of fail the same way again. He'd try to make a mental lock with the symbol on the tag instead of 'hitting' it with a chakra wave.

Rhaim was now half way completed with the amount of training he'd be able to give the jutsu and he still hadn't managed to complete it once. The boy flopped down backwards onto the grass and stared up at the sky with his arms out wide from his body. Clearly he wasn't as in control of his chakra as he had thought that he was, or he didn't really understand how the technique was supposed to work in the first place. Though he was doing everything just as the scrolls had said to do it. The boy squinted up at the early morning light and figured that this must be the true difference between being a shinobi and being a good shinobi. And he was neither until he completed the exams. He couldn't wrap himself around how to approach the jutsu the next time since there were only so many ways that one could manipulate their chakra, especially at his young age.

The young Nara child slowly sat up and placed his hands into his lap. He stared intently at the tag on the first tree and decided to try something absurd. He'd close his eyes this time and try to just concentrate on the tag in his mind. He brought his hands back to in front of his face and shut his eyes gently. The vision of the symbol on the tag played through his mind as he began to mold chakra.

Rhaim didn't even wait to open his eyes to find out if he had done the jutsu correctly. The lack of thundering explosians told him that louder than, well thundering explosians. The boy shook his head and let it fall slightly forward to adjust his gaze down onto the ground in front of his still seated body. He knew for certain that he wasn't cut out for taijutsu and now it was seeming as if he wasn't cut out for ninjutsu either. He didn't know any fuuin jutsu or genjutsu or even medical jutsus. A sigh silently left his lips as he wondered how much of a failure he was to both his team and his family. As it was he didn't have any special skills to contribute and yet he'd possibly soon be a genin running real missions. Though from the look of the mission roster posted at the Hokage office there wasn't alot going on anyhow.

The young boy shook his head violently to knock away his consistently negative thoughts. Despite how pitiful he was, mooping around and feeling bad for himself wasn't going to help anyone. If anything he had to accept where he was in life and simply drive on to make himself stronger in every aspect that he could. If he couldn't be great in any one area, perhaps he could be decent in a few. He stood to his feet defiantly and tried to surge the little remaining chakra he had.
