They never called back, much to my chagrin. But alack, I'll just keep trying until I find something that will give me 30-40 hours. Gawds how much I need that, and also for my mother to pay me back everything she took from me.

Nope; she still acts as if nothing's wrong. But I can't make a move without my dad here, and he won't be back until February. But at least he's aware of the situation here. The job can wait for now, but it can't wait for long. I'm just getting embarrassed always asking for deferment...
