LV. 2 | Experience: 44/110 | Hp: 16/16 | Cp: 6/6 | MHp: 24/24 She winced, her depressed facial expression wiped off and replaced with a sour look instead when he broke his promise. Miharo-sensei was supposed to reprimand students if they lied, not the other way around. Like role models. Then again, he wasn't like the sensei in books. The sensei in the books wouldn't admit to killing so freely. Okay, and the other alternative would be lying, but still...
"Uhm... o-okay."
Kaede did not question him any further, and pulled out the scroll syllabus. The girl was glad she had managed to stall the taijutsu exercise. This was what she was much better at, reading. Though her handle on chakra still sucked. Then again, looking at the rest of the exercises available, it wasn't much of an improvement. Especially the swimming portion and the waking up from burn out. What did Miharo-sensei suggest? Henge? Henge no jutsu it is.
There seemed to still be a long ways to go before she would have to concern herself with her conversation with Miharo-sensei. At least, that's what she kept telling herself.
She will tell him later, choosing to wait patiently until they were done talking. Father said it was rude to interrupt a conversation. For it seemed the other newcomer- not the newcomer who was a student... speaking of which, where did he go? -appeared to be a friend of Miharo-sensei, from the way they interacted with each other. They knew each other's personality rather well, and they were on a first name basis. Most of all, Miharo-sensei addressed this man by first name, not a nickname. Kaede chose to roll up the syllabus scroll and stare at the clouds in the sky until they were finished.
It wasn't until Miharo-sensei's friend had suggested that she was dating- oh no, no, no... dating? Someone ugly like her dating? She wasn't ready for it, and living together with someone who wasn't her father was such an absurd idea. And what if the wedding didn't go well, not to mention the childbirth dangers... -and oh wait. Hahaha. Miharo-sensei was probably just joking. He's her sensei, and sensei don't do that. Role models don't do that.
... they were just joking right? Right. Haha. Yeah, they got her good. That was a good joke.

Yarotai shook his head at the suggestion of Taiju giving the girl any sort of training other than making her hide and potentially quit the Academy. The random torturing that he was considering for the two boys really made the Chuunin wonder why this guy hadn't been sent to the ANBU torture squad yet. If there was anyone that could beat information out of someone it was a Senju, and this one was meaner than most. He leaned back to look over the kids again.
"You're probably right. What could a mere Senju teach kids from real clans like theirs? You're better off forgeting I said anything."
He turned back to Kaede, "Have you decided what you'd like to do Little Miss Mouse?"

Taiju twitched for a moment and fought back the urge to strangle Yarotai right then and there in front of the students. "I'm going to forget I said that, so that I don't cover your girlfriend in your blood." He snickered a bit and shook his head. "Well I’m here now and I won't forget what you've said. A Senju is twice as good as any Hyuuga, and three times as good as any Uchiha." Taiju once again tried to fight the frenzy that was building inside of him, lest the forest become the sight of a massacre. "So what do you suggest that I do then, if not help you teach these kids? I don't think I’d be THAT bad of a teacher..."

LV. 2 | Experience: 44/110 | Hp: 16/16 | Cp: 6/6 | MHp: 24/24 So Miharo-sensei's friend was from the Senju Clan... he didn't seem like a noble. At least, she never heard of any violent nobles or ones that cussed as much as Sasaki-san. Or threaten academy sensei. Senju-san didn't seem like a sensei in books either. The girl wondered how low of a budget the academy was running on, if they were hiring sensei that were not like role models. Or perhaps this was the difference between shinobi sensei and a school teacher... Probably the later, it was like the shinobi world was on a whole different level than other professions. So much she didn't know, so much to discover.
"Uhm... you s-said Henge n-no jutsu, right? I h-ha-haven't been taught that... yet..."
It seemed like an interesting idea, being someone other than herself for a while, even if it is false. Not only that, but scroll's definition of the jutsu was so broad. What were the limits? It wasn't limited to persons but even inorganic objects. So would she have those rocklike properties if she transformed into it? If she used the jutsu to turn an arm into a blade, would it cut? By transforming into someone like Sasaki-san, would that mean the sharingan would also be imitated as well? But wait, it's a bloodline... so...? She really wanted to find out because, unlike the Nawanuke no Jutsu, Kaede was very eager to learn this particular one.

Taiju rounded on Kaede, his anger mostly subsided. "Don't worry it's not all that hard. Trying to keep it up, that's the hard part." Taiju remembered back when he had tried to hold the Jutsu up as a statue of himself for as long as he could. It had ended with him sleeping unconscious on the ground for a full day. Those were good times. "Why are you so nervous girl? Do I scare you? At least I have a mask on, seeing my face would probably make it worse... Still you don't have anything to be afraid of, unless of course we're attacked out here. Unfortunatly there's no chance of that happening I’m afraid."

Yarotai couldn't control himself at the thought of Taiju being a teacher, then again it wouldn't be any worse than him being in charge of some students. He was so caught up in his chuckles that he was slow on responding to Kaedes question concerning the Henge no Jutsu. He waited for the Senju to finish his words of wisdom which inevitably drew to him beating the ever loving brains out of something. The Chuunin always enjoyed how violent his friend was, since it was for the 'right' reasons most of the time. When he finished his vague answer to the girl Yarotai waved a hand to get her attention again.
"He's a teddy bear Little Miss Mouse. Heck he's got more admirers than I do. But anyways, like he was saying, the Henge no Jutsu is really kept simple. Just study an object until you have a good idea about what it looks like and focus your chakra into taking that shape. You don't actually become that item, your chakra flow just tricks peoples sight. But we should start with simple things. I know the lesson says to use a rock, but people are easier. You already have all the body parts in the right places, so you're really only worrying about faces and colors.
Study Taiju and transform into him first. He's a plain guy and you don't have to worry about what his face looks like anyways. Make sure you walk all the way around him so that you know what the back of him looks like."

The new newcomer's talking was pissing Takeshi off. He wasn't all that far away and could hear most of what they were saying. Saying that he was three times better than a Uchiha just because he was a Senju. And implying that any Hyuuga was better than an Uchiha annoyed him to no end. But Takeshi knew to block it out if he wanted to concentration. He couldn't use his anger to fuel him, he would only fail, as with when he was practicing the Bushin no Jutsu hand seals when Yarotai arrived. So he put his mind back in the fight.
When Takeshi's mind returned to the fight, his first sight was of Tairu coming at him with a follow-up punch. Luckily, his aim was terrible, a strange thing because he was a Hyuuga, who could see everything, so Takeshi was able to easily dodge without much effort. Takeshi took advantage of Tairu's misfortune and tried to sweep him off of his feet. If he succeeded, Takeshi would attempt to inflict further damage with a ground-breaking gut punch.

Sorry that this is how she normally talked. Sorry that she was always nervous around people she didn't know. And yes, he was rather frightening... it was hard to tell the difference between his threats and his jokes. But if the girl had said that out loud, he might take it as an insult and beat her up.
Her eyes followed Miharo-sensei's hand wave. But the girl didn't follow his words. Teddy bears don't threaten to kill someone. They don't beat people up. And Teddy Bears they were soft, cute, and cuddly, something you WANT to hug. No, Senju-san probably did his training killing real bears in the mountains and roasting their meat, like in those shounen manga training sessions. Of course he'd have lots of admirers, he seemed very strong.
Henge no Jutsu The Students will each obtain a small pebble. Roll 1d20. You must get a 13 or higher to successfully transform into the image of the object. Cp: -1 Formula: 1d20 + Chakra mod. Train: 0/5 Rewards: +1 Chakra She was apprehensive about the jutsu now. If she screwed up and looked like a mangled version of Senju-san he might take it as an insult and beat her up. Kaede gulped, and meekly glanced at Senju-san. He was very tall, and standing up made her very aware of that now. He was taller than her father. His face was covered by a mask, and that made him less intimidating, strangely enough. She took Miharo-sensei's advice and noted the colors. Black mask. Angry bear face. His eyes were blue. Green vest. Black undershirt Black pants. Black Shoes. She took a deep breath.
'Okay, taller than Father. Black mask. Angry bear face. Blue Eyes. Green vest. Black undershirt. Black Shoes. Taller than Father. Black mask. Angry bear face. Blue Eyes. Green vest. Black undershirt. Black Shoes...'

(These rolls suck) Hp: 43/44 DB: 15 As Tairu regained his balance he saw Takeshi coming at him again. Tairu Jumped backwards in order to avoid the kick. After doing so he found that his opportunity for an attack was gone. As he got some space and listened to his surroundings he heard the larger man talking poorly about his clan. I might not agree with my family but outsiders have no right to talk badly of them. Tairu thought momentarily before bringing his attention back to the fight. He was still waiting for the right moment to attack, as Tairu knew that Takeshi was already a bit weakened and a few good hits could put him down. Taijutsu To practice Taijutsu, the students were paired up and sparred against one another. No one was allowed to use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu during the fight. Taijutsu were the only techniques used. Yarotai clapped at the near perfect representation of Taiju that had once been a small meek little girl. There were flaws in here transformation but it was good enough to pass the Academy and it would likely fool his drooling fans. Somehow the Chuunin couldn't help but think that his advice had actually made a difference in the girls ability and understanding. Perhaps he wouldn't get so bored with this job after all and maybe he'd get really lucky and get an extra reward from her sister for doing such a great job.
"Well done Little Miss Mouse. Now close your eyes and do me next. This'll be harder since I don't want you to study me first. I want to see what you think I look like already. And don't forget mannerisms too. It's no good if you transform into someone but don't act like them."

Taiju watched as the girl turned into a near perfect representation of him. "Not bad... But Yarotai is right. You need to act like the person to. Is there a reason you keep stammering? I know I have a tendency to scare people but I didn't think that you'd be like this before seeing me in combat..." Taiju sighed as he shook his head. The girl needed to grow a backbone and stop being so afraid of everything. Maybe Yarotai would allow him to do some one on one training with her; Although that probably wouldn't happen since Yarotai wouldn't part with his new "friend" so soon. Could Yarotai be trying to set the girl up so he could do less than tasteful things later? Taiju would have to keep an eye on him and talk about it when they were away from these students.

Rhaim wasn't too suprised to find that his first attempt at the exploding tag jutsu had resulted in an utter failure. This technique seemed to be one that caused an exceptional amount of problems for him to understand. The which somewhat baffled the boy since he assumed that by knowing a bit about traps that learning this jutsu would go easier. His head cocked alittle as he wondered why learning the Touei wouldn't help him learn this jutsu. He didn't dwell on that thought too much though since he was fairly certain that the way the two techniques used chakra were entirely different. With a sigh he resigned himself to giving up on trying to consider exactly how the jutsus were different. After all he had read and written the scrolls of the techniques, so if anyone should be able to quote the differences it should be him.
The Nara boy brought his hands back up to his face to help focus his chakra on the symbol of the exploding tag.

Henge no Jutsu The Students will each obtain a small pebble. Roll 1d20. You must get a 13 or higher to successfully transform into the image of the object. Cp: -1 Formula: 10 (1d20) + 0 (cha mod) + 3 (Yarotai's assistance) = 13 (success) Train: 1/5 Rewards: +1 Chakra "Uhm... ok-kay, Miharo-sensei."
The mannerisms wouldn't be too hard to imitate, since they all had a great impression on her. Smile, nicknames, long strides, and an annoying habit of invading people's personal bubbles and touching them. But then came the details... and all the times the girl had avoided making eye contact with Miharo-sensei had come back to bite her. His forehead protector was... on his forehead. Okay. Cloth was blue? Black? Black. Okay. And his hair was spiky and brunette. Miharo-sensei was tall like Senju-san. But the eyes... what about the eyes? Black? Gray? Dark Brown?
Oh deeeear...
The most dominant eye color allele was black, so she would go with that. Kaede took a deep breath, and then attempted the jutsu. She wished there was a mirror nearby, a byakugan, or some sort of pool she could check for any mistakes.
Now for mannerisms... For a more natural smile, she decided to think about the time when Hyuuga-san had given her the first compliment she had ever recieved for completing a handseal. But then she remembered she had utterly failed the third attempt. That wasn't going to work. The time she had her birthday and her father was able to take a day off work to celebrate with her? It was a very recent memory. She hoped the smile was adequate enough. And when Hyuuga-san had dodged that Sasaki-san kick aimed at his feet, she clapped. He had landed gracefully, fitting for a member from of a noble clan. It was what Miharo-sensei would do when students did a decent job.
"W-w-welllll..." And the girl immediately found herself regretting opening her mouth.
'Well done Mr. Manners,' is what she wanted to say.
'Well done Shirayuki, Miharo-sensei was totally the type of person with a speech impediment. You idiot.'
She dispelled the jutsu and hung her head, awaiting her judgment.
