They haven't confirmed Leafia's english name, who knows it might be called Folean.
But mostly likely since its a pretty easy name, they'll probably keep it.

not critisism about edits but... I wanna see a REAL pokemon sequel. Like a full 3D console (not portable) pokemon epic rpg with a small cast of pokemon, like 100-150 made up of either old ones and new ones or all new ones that dont suck.

Oh, I forgot that the convention doesn't apply to Japan. xd In Japan, Flareon is Booster, Vaporeon is Waters, Jolteon is Thunders, Espeon is Eefi, and Umbreon is Blacky (Burakki).
So it probably won't break convention, even if it's something stupid like Leafeon. Foleon, or perhaps Floreon, would be much better though.
