Now would be a good time to start fighting, Paul decided.
He fired an air dart at the Ghoster, then attempted to paste him when he decided to go solid.
"Flying Dutchman?" Darius cried gleefully. "Let's sink it!
"Coordination? What do you suggest? I'm not top-of-the-line plan man, huh?" Darius told Joe.

Robert asked. Dutchman wasn't active while I was alive, so I don't know much about it, but if it's doing this to the Shin-Xi building, that's not a good sign.>
The Ghoster was unfazed by Paul's air dart.
((The best part is, this isn't the "everything going to s**t" I mentioned earlier.))

Joe called to Darius, "Hit her at the same time, so that we can divert her focus and get through her shield. I doubt she can keep up with us for long."

"We can totally sink a flying ship," Darius cried gleefully. "We'll fill it with rainwater until it can't support itself, and it'll sink in mid-air! I'm a genius, I know." He listened to Joe's plan. "Couldn't she like... activate shield on both sides? Haven't we been hitting her simultaneously already? Isn't it worth another shot?" With that he launched himself at her, delaying to be in sync with Joe.

Joe's laugh echoed on their floor. "Hey, I figure two guys as strong as us can break a shield if we hit it enough at the right time."
He launched a brutal assault of slashes, stabs, and chops, while his other hand threw concentrated fire and brought huge, penetrating spikes of stone at every point he could.
Remembering the mental warning, Joe moved to force Jessica between himself and the Ghosters.

Jessica threw mana blasts from each hand, stopping both of her foes in their tracks. The Ghoster passed through the floor.

"Where's that Ghoster going?" Paul demanded of no one, locking an Earth Grappler into the roof and swinging down for the ground as fast as he could.
Darius decided that the fact that Jessica could just stop them was making it rather difficult, given the fact that Joe and Darius were both frontal assault men without much in the way of alternative assaults or plans.
On the other hand, Darius was made of Shadow.
He disappeared into a Chameleonic.

"Damn it Paul, get back here and help!" Joe shouted. Seeing Darius' ploy, he decided to hold Jessica's focus.
He flitted at her, striking and flitting to make it hard for her to hit him. Essentially, strikes were coming at her from random points, switching directions and following no pattern.

"I already tried!" Paul protested, but did take a good headshot on his way down.
Darius struck unexpected from below with a flaming, explodinating fist.
Fyrin joined with a bandage whip that would detonate upon getting a grip.

The building shuddered again as Paul took the shot. Jessica fell as Paul's aim jerked. The bullet clipped the back of her head and sent her spinning away from their attacks. She glared up at Paul, watching him carefully.
Two more Ghosters entered through the ceiling.

Joe definitely took advantage of the opportunity and pounced, ruthlessly attacking the off-balance girl.

Jessica released Thuriel's form completely, horns sprouting from bone plating around her head and down her back. Additional plating appeared on her torso. As Joe approached, she twisted as she threw a punch, throwing him back.
Unfortunately for her, she wasn't grounded especially well, and threw herself back as well.

"Ah! Ghoster invasion!" Paul cried, stopping his descent and hanging in air. "Darius, gimme a magic carpet effect!" he suggested, and waited until Darius had him supported by air to make his move. Paul could've done it, but Darius could take a hit and not get distracted - Paul would stay airborne that way.
He started firing again, carefully taking his shots for limbs and head now, since it was obvious that the plating on the torso and abdomen would take a shot without being bothered much by it at all.

Jessica took a hit to the faceplate, which snapped her neck back viciously. Throwing her head forward into a roar, Jessica's arts-demonic-infused attack blew Paul cleanly off of Darius.
