Well, it seemed like she still wouldn't take his housing offer so he merely nodded and took the truce of sorts that she was offering. "That is true. He may be eccentric but he is knowledgeable and that is what you need to learn from. Just try to be on time more." The ice caves idea was well received though so he waited for her to clean her dishes and then walked out to the hall and to the nearby patio. There were so many of those around the house, because they proved to be easy access to the sky for both him and his father. "I believe I do. Though this time, please try to navigate more carefully. You still have that scar from last time." Stepping lightly from his feet, he extended his wings and took to the morning sky.

"Duely noted, off with you." Well well, this was working out quite niecely. You kept your friends close and your enemies closer. Oh was she getting nice and close. But for now she got herself up and went to find Shyrae...she was going to need a partner for the time being.

Why didn't she take the offer, even when she recognized the hints? She didn't want him to think that he was obligated to take care of her for whatever reason he felt the need to. They had been quite close since they were both small, heck she knew him when she had just hatched. Point was obligation was a bad thing, despite how appealing the offer may be. She wanted him to want to do such things, not feel obligated.

A roll of her eyes though as she followed him. "I can't even get a two second grace period?" And is she showed up early, he sent her away. This was an on the dot man. Out to the porch, giving a snicker at his mention of one of her mishaps, but yes taking a glance at her elbow at said mark. "Like you've never clipped anything while flying." Flaring out her wings and taking a hop step to put herself into the air, and bring herself to his side, but just outside his own wingspan. "Come on now, you know I always do better whenI have someone I want to impress with me. Or at least try to." Cure little barrel roll, which executed nicely. That was great actually. "Hey Kaz, do something for me? Say bandittized." She just wanted him to say a silly world...Bell did have the knack to get through that stoic like demeanor of hsi.

"Apparently not." Flying was great, one of his favorite activities. Maybe she would count that as a hobby? But she was right about the flying mishaps, he'd been clipped before. By a spell... But a look over to her as she came up beside him, both of them swooping over the desert towards the west. "I don't know why that someone is me though. What good does it do you to know that I'm impressed or not?" It was one of those things he never understood about her. Then again, he didn't understand a lot about her anyways. It was a nice trick though, she did fare much better in the open air. "Band... it- tit... i- de.. zed..." He shook his head in frustration and frowned at her. "What is that?"

A smile. "I like to impress you is all." Was nice to show him that she wasn't compeltely hopeless. And yes...she had a thing for him, she had always had it...but it was one of those things she didn't mention nor indulge...would probably blow up in her face. But a trail of melodic laughter from her as he tried and obviously didn't like the word. "Bandit-tized. You know...bandit and being ostrasized by being one. Squish 'em together. Bandit-tized." Tilting a wing to change elevation as they near one of the rocky outcroppings in the sands...some served as passages into the ground and thus ice caves. Though they were much like a frozen desert as well.

He shook his head in disbelief but at least some understanding donned his face. "You invented that yourself, didn't you? I must say it's not nearly as useful as your odd trinkets. Why is it not banditostra? Anything could be -tized, like sanitized." Sanitized by a bandit? Those two words were probably not meant to appear in the same sentence, ever. But as they approached the entrance to the well-hidden caves, he too soared downwards a bit and folded his wings slightly to enter the small crevasse. The cooler air hit him in waves and he skillfully navigated the long slim passageway that led to the internal network of galleries, glancing back at her for a moment because there wasn't enough room for them to fly side by side. "If you get through here without a scratch, I will be impressed." It wasn't really phrased as a challenge, he already knew by experience that this is where her scar came from last time.

She giggled. Ha! SHe got him to say a word on the spot that he made up and wasn't exactly proper. "Because silly, banditostra doesn't flow off the tongue as easily now does it? Besides, you can say bandittized with a bit fo zing...and make people wonder." Well it was something to get his mind off the thinking path. A little flex of wings to apply the air brakes slightly as she fell into line behind them to take the passage. It was either climb, fall, or fly down the passage. Flying was the best way.

A slightly squint at cold air hitting her in the face, more so because it was also coming off of Kaznec's wings beats. A look to him though at his little proposal of sorts. She could hear the challenge lacking in hsi voice, but she was taking it anyway. Which meant she crossed her ankles, tucked her arms by her side and drew her wings in the proper length. Besides...smacking into things hurt...her wing was still sore from the ship mast of earlier. Little injuries in your natural form were made worse in your neutral form. Thus the two navigating down the tunnels and such, eventually hitting open icy space. Leaving the cramped space, she air braked again and landed on the cold rocks. "Impressed?"

Zing... What exactly was that? But more often than not, he let her have her fun with him, making him say odd things or do silly actions. "You're right about the making people wonder part. I think you confuse at least one person a day, me excluded." He flew on in the thin passageway, keeping his ears open for any sound of cracking ice or potential injury. There was none though, seemed she really was intent on showing him that she could do it. At the first deep cavern, he landed beside her and nodded, gazing around the dim cave. "I am. At least we didn't have to worry about falling stalactites this time." Because that would not have been amusing, having to dodge large razor sharp icicles...

"People need to wonder, and it's good to know that you can keep up with me." Okay, now walk very carefully...seeing as ice was on everything more or less and she didn't want to trip and fall. But a genuine smile from her. "Good, I'm glad you are." But a look up as well...seemed there wasn't indeed too much to worry about...things had probably fallen recently. A tap of her tail against the back of his calf as she passed him. "Come on, we haven't been here in...well a long time. We have to reacquaint ourselves." PLus side here...since they were in thier neutral form, they were no longer mostly cold blooded. Meant they could stay down here fo a while and not have to worry about bad things happening...well because of cold anyway.

His boots had good grip, and they were the only reason he didn't slip when she gave him that sudden tap. Turning slightly, he gazed at her and raised an eyebrow. "What do you have in mind?" They had done a variety of things here; playing tag with ice, seeking games, but mostly just flying around and talking. Didn't get to do that much when he was patrolling by himself. The good thing was he wasn't particularly cold because he was wearing his long sleeve tunic today that covered his entire upper, unlike his other uniform that was bare in certain spots.

"We can ice skate...that's always fun, letting her boots slide on the ice under thier feet at that notion. A little wobbly but she stayed up, much to her delight. Taking Kaznec's hands in her own, she gave a tug, trying to make him take the weight off his boots so they would slide. Another tug to him and she slid back some herself, giving a light laugh then wrapping her arms around herself a moment. She was less than dressed for the occassion. Wearing something that had to be modified for wings was hard sometimes...needed a friend to do those laces of the slits made from the bottom of clothing up to the appropriate spot to accomodate wings.

She could be cold for a while anyway if it meant fun and his bit of campany outside of the ranks. "Come on now, better to rely on your own balance than the tread of your boots anyway in here. I wanna see you let loose a little. You can be fun when you want to."

Ice skate. Well duh. There was probably enough frozen water in here to feed the city for millenia anyways, but it was somewhat sacred since it didn't seem like anyone had ever been here except them. "Alright." He shifted his weight slightly from the base of his feet and let her pull him out onto the smoother parts that had no doubt been a pool of sparkling water some time ago. A smile though at her comment. He never really thought of himself as 'fun' but if she insisted. Since she was facing him, he had an idea then... "Extend your wings." Waiting as she did so and then beating his a few times to directed wind into hers, letting her naturally slide backwards as if she was ice sailing.

There see, he could do it...he was slow about doing such things but she eventually got him into doing things. And he was often getting them out of the trouble. But she extended her wings, one a little less than the other seeing as it was a tad aggrivated in pain now from flying and gave a giggle at his own tactic that pushed her back across the eyes, making her change her foot positioning to keep upright.

She could return the favor, but knew that even on ice she probably couldn't budge him. Even with his self proclaimed diminished strengths, she still couldn't move him too well. Took a lot of effort. "Nice one." Before getting that looking her eyes and raising up on her toes as well was bracing with her trail, and a leap at him. If anything reactions would break his braced step and he'd slide. Worse came worse, she'd smack into him and he much like a wall wouldn't move she'd end up on her tail.

Shyrae was sitting half out of her window., letting her legs dangle freely over the city and enjoying the soft breeze that was drifting by. She was contemplating climbing up to the roof when her friend appeared and she turned. "Visitors gone?" That was nice, wasn't it? She hadn't meant to lose her cool with Hunter and it rarely happened. His arrogant cockiness just rubbed her the complete wrong way. Although if she really thought about it, he was probably a lot like her brother. That thought made her smile and she resolved to be a little nicer to him next time. Perhaps if she treated him like Zykariel, he wouldn't irritate her so badly. "You should finish your breakfast, Sav. Then we can go visit the dogs."
PostPosted: Sat May 19, 2007 5:23 pm

Well, good to know that his idea had worked. It wasn't everyday that you got to do things like that. For one thing, there was not a single piece of ice anywhere near Ilindal. "It's good that the ice is smooth enough here." Looking down and scuffing his toe along the floor a bit until he looked up just in time to see her fly at him. "Whoa!" He did slide backwards quickly, a little wobbly though so he gave his wings a good flap to steady himself and to prevent himself from falling on his back with her on top of him. Eventually gliding to a stop, he removed his hands from her waist and set her back down. "You were lucky I wasn't prepared for that."

"Yup, they're both gone. And I'm getting my money back. I think today is going to be a good day." Shaking her head lightly and a point to her friend...that was slightly off to the side of where seh actually was. "You have to come back and finish your own share of food too. Now come on." Which meant both returning to her own room, food being downed and then dishes returned to the kitchen. Having grabbed her robe, she pulled it on and gave a pet to Chylithair before attention back to Shyrae. "Okay, let's go see the animals."

Well look at that, snatched eright mid leap. Good reflexes of his if she did say so herself. Jaebelltiah merely gave him a giggle as she was set down again and gave her wings a little flutter. "I'd say you were still quite somewhat prepared. Or else we both would of ended up in a pile of each other, sliding across the ground." Pushing off on her toes and skating a circle around him on her boots, before tapping him with the end of her tail again. "You're it." A few in place running steps as the ice slipping effortlessly again the soles of her boots before she got a good step in put a bit of distance between them, slidding a scross the ice and also trying to to fall at the same time.
