Wow. I really liked that solo, Duke. It was very impressive. 3nodding Your right, the rest of the song was a bit heavy for me, but the solo made up for it.

I wish, the person who wrote that solo is Muhammed SuiƧmez, who does both guitar and vocals.

Wow. Very impressive. So you can play it though, right? Just a bit slower than what is played in the video?

I think that's an oxymoron, David has the worse live voice ever! He is more of a drummer than anything else. 3nodding

Really? You think so duke? Because I gotta hand it to him it was really good. And he has a good voice in my opinion. I do wish he had filled in on drums for a song or two but what he did was perfect.

I have never been a fan of the Foo Fighters, they just seem like a rehash of Nirvana to me.

Ah, but that's so far from the truth. Dave's worked hard to get away from that image and it shows. His music is far different from Nirvana's. But I'm not gonna preach to you.

Well, he used the fame he gained from Nirvana to get to where he is with Foo Fighters. Same thing that happened to Evanescence, they were catapulted into the mainstream because their Guitarist was a member of Cold.

Dave had been planning on leaving Nirvana anyways. Lots of people ride the fame they've previously gotten. In my opinion the Foo Fighters are slightly better than Nirvana. Dave's voice is easier to listen to and his lyrics and Curt's are very similar but that maybe because Curt taught Dave most of what he knows about writing music. He seriously considered not doing the Foo Fighters after Curt's death since everyone would think he was just trying to take from Curt's glory.
