Vhan noticed Gigi's attempting to eat Felix's ears and giggle, covering his mouth with his fingertips. "Hehe, I think she's glad to be back..." he said playfully, though he was hoping on the inside that the lump on his head wasn't too nasty looking.

He hadn't noticed yet that he had purple spikes growing out of his back like odd wings and the knot had grown into a fair sized horn by this point. His ears were also rather long, spiked and purplish now.

Kaya nodded in reponse. "That he is. But my father trusted him utterly until the day he betrayed the kingdom by kidnapping my brother and I." he admitted. "I'm sure we'll catch him with his pants down one day." he said, coining a phrase he'd once heard a stranger in Rustboro use. He just hoped he was using it correctly.

Hearing his love's first question, and it's follow-ups, he answered in kind. "It's not so much a title as what I am." he replied. "Those of us who know the castle's secrets are referred to as the secret keepers because once we know, we're responsible for keeping those secrets to ourselves and not spreading them around. The name reminds us of our obligation to keep that information from leaking out." he explained. He couldn't help but smile at Brayden's curiosity. It reminded him that he really had caugth someone special to have him so interested in his homeland.

"It's alright, Bray. I completely understand." he replied quietly. "There's a lot on my plate as well. I'm still not sure how to tell my mother and father that I want to marry a man, and a mainlander at that..."he said softly. "Normally such things are forbidden, but given my status and the mission I was given, I should be able to convince him that marrying a mainlander would be beneficial. And once we are wed, then I can get out of being king, because the kingdom's bylaws pronounce that a Prince cannot be crowned King without a Queen to bear him children." he explained, hoping Brayden didn't think he was using him. "But you've got a lifetime to learn the ways of the island, especially once we decide where we want to settle down after our journeys' end." he added with a delicate smile.

"But I'm sure my siblings will love you." he admitted. "I think Krissy already does, and I'm pretty sure Kaylee could tell you were more than just a friend when we visited her." he told him. "Adamant might be dense at times but I'm sure he already knows as well. Valahn was brainwashed at first, but he could tell too, so the only ones who don't know, or you haven't met, are Krystofer and Kiel." he said softly. He'd never thought about it that much, but telling his lover about his siblings made it sink in just how large his family was.

He kissed Brayden softly, just to shut him up for a brief moment. "I don't care how much you ramble, I enjoy hearing the sound of your voice and telling you about my home reminds me how much you really care. Wanting to know my island's ways means you want to be part of the life I have there, as well as here." he offered in explanation.

Looking down to Cali when she spoke, he nodded to her. "I assure you, my vulpine friend, that patience is something I have plenty of for him. And demons or no, he's all mine and I'd not have it any other way." he told her quietly, though Brayden would hear him speaking Umbreon.

Brayden nodded, unable to hide the smile Kaya's comment, "I hope we can catch him one day. There's so many horrible things that he needs to atone for," he murmured, countenance falling a bit as he thought of the vile man. He certainly didn't have any good memories of anything that Notaro had done.

"You won't get in trouble for telling me, though, will you?" he inquired quietly, looking to Kaya worriedly. He didn't want to think he'd get his love in trouble by knowing the information that the prince had sworn to protect. Curiosity or no, there was no way he'd wish any trouble for Kaya.

Which brought the next question that had surfaced from Kaya's explanation. Brayden looped an arm lightly around the prince's waist, "There won't- I mean you don't think that telling your family that we plan on getting married will cause too much trouble for them, do you?"

Caliga considered Kaya's answer briefly, nodding after a moment, "I'm glad he's found someone like you," she smiled after a pause.

Vhan looked around at Felix and Chloe. "Uhm...did I just say something stupid?" he asked, curious. "And what exactly do you mean 'horny and spiky'?" he asked Gigi, not realizing for a few moments that he'd understood her.

Kaya grinned at Brayden's comments. "I hope so as well. He's a vile creature who shall get his just rewards when the time is most befitting for it." he said calmly, though is voice clearly showed the thought pleased him greatly.

"No, I don't think I will." he replied when Brayden asked him is he'd get in trouble. "In cases of civil defense and protecting our nation and our way of life, the laws are null until the island is safe once again." he explained. "But when it's over and done with, you guys will all be sworn to secrecy by the King, my father, in order to keep our secrets hidden from anyone else like Notaro using them." he added.

"As for causing them trouble because you and I are getting married..." he repeated slowly, pausing for a moment in thought. "Well, "he cracked a wide grin then. "I've got three straight brothers and a straight sister that could take over as the crowned ruler of the kingdom." he said cheerfully. "I just want to be able to go anywhere with you and never have to worry about not being able to stay." he added with a warm smile, walking over to one of the cave walls.

Kaya laughed at Caliga's response as well. "Don't be glad he found me, be glad Loki found him." he told the Umbreon. Turning to the wall, he pulled a small shovel, like a gardening spade, from his bag and slowly etched an image into the earth and stone.

((Nothing much really. We've just been sticking here for a bit. Julian left, but Marth's gonna meet back up with us in Snowpoint.))

Brayden smiled, ruffling Caliga's fur, "What are you two plotting?" he laughed, as Caliga smirked, acting innocent.

"That's good, though," Brayden smiled, relaxing a bit at Kaya's admission, "I'm sure they'll see that there are plenty of other options for the throne. And I'm positive that nothing would make me happier than having the opportunity to travel with you," he assured Kaya with a grin.

Brayden watched as Kaya carved their initials, smiling as he realized what he was digging into the wall.

Caliga smiled, deciding to add her own touch to the carving. Concentrating for a moment, the Umbreon flared her energy around her, rings glowing brightly in the dark mineshaft. A moment's focus later, the letters on the walls were glowing with a pale blue-green light.

"There!" she announced with a laugh.

All I've been dreaming of lately is school. It bites. D: Especially when I dream I wake up and go to school, then wake up for real, and have to go to school. xD Double the morning.}}

Chloe decided to take a seat as she waited for Kaya and Brayden to return. Entreri was still up on the wall, watching the happenings absently as he relaxed, lounging over a few of the beams that lined the mineshaft's ceiling.

Lilie was still searching for that heart scale, walking around, eyes glued to the dirt floor. She knew she saw that scale, and gosh-darnit she was going to find it again!

Too bad she wasn't really looking where she was going, her eyes stuck to the floor. She ran headfirst into Felix's leg, tumbling with a surprised cry.

Ricardo's ears twitched as he heard flapping coming from behind his head. He quickly ducked and looked up as a Zubat flew above him. "Pidgeotto! Come take care of this thing!"

Pidgeot turned and looked, then came flying in with a Quick Attack, knocking the bat away. The Zubat came flying back, hitting Pidgeotto with it's wing. Pidgeotto shoot the attack off and dashed past Zubat with another quick attack. Zubat fly to Pidgeotto and used Astonish. Pidgeotto again dashed past Zubat. Zubat began rapidly flapping it's wings, creating a gust to use Air Cutter. Pidgeotto kept up it's attacks of speed with another Quick Attack. The Zubat slowly rose, getting tired. In an attempt to conserve energy, it used Astonish again. Pidgeotto however was not detoured as it zipped past with another Quick attack. Zubat flew over to the Pidgeotto and bit into it. Pidgeotto then used Quick attack and slammed it againt the wall. Exhausted, the Zubat used a last desperate attempt at defeating the Pidgeotto, using Astonish one more time. Pidgeotto shook it off and dashed at Zubat, finishing it off with one last quick attack.

"Good job Pidgeotto" Ricardo said to the bird, already grabbing potions out of his bag as it flew over to him and landed on his shoulder. "That was hard..." the Pidgeotto commented. "Yeah well," Ricardo began as he started to spray the potions on his pokemon, "it'll be worth it when we go back to take on Erika."

Ricardo looked down at his belt. "Hmm... how about I let the others out, except Mewtwo since he won't listen to me..." He said. He reached down and grabbed the 2 pokeballs for Mudkip and Snover, releasing the two in front of him in a flash of light. "Mudkip, you behave. Got it?" "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm not gonna listen when I can have fun." Mudkip said as he began to wander off. "I heard that! You listen or you're going back into your pokeball!" Ricardo looked down at Snover, who was just tilting his head and observing everyone. "You understand us now...?" the Snover said quietly. Ricardo just smiled and nodded. "I should be able to help a little more in battle now. I guess I should give you all nicknames huh?" Snover just nodded and looked up at him "So it would seem. Names might be nice..." the pokemon replied. "Alright... how about I call you Tenka then?" "Hmmm.... it sounds nice. I like it."

Lilie looked up at Vhan, flushing slightly in embarrassment, "Wasn't my fault?" she offered feebly, "I was looking for another shiny stone..." with that she trotted off distractedly. She was going to cause a fight between Julian and Sasha if it was the last thing she did. The Chikorita returned her gaze to the floor, watching for another telltale sparkle in the dirt.

Until she discovered the Charmeleon tailing her.

"Hey! You can help!" she declared with a giggle, "Its all in the name of love, of course!" she insisted, grabbing hold of the flame-tipped tail of the fire lizard and dragging it along with her to help light her way. She only got a few paces however, definitely not strong enough to drag the Charmeleon along with her.

"What on earth are you up to?" Chloe laughed, watching the Chikorita for a bit. As long as she wasn't annoying the Charmander too much, she'd leave her be.
