A.C. lost her smile to seriousness and walked up to look Ruby in the eye. ((She had been standing behind her a little ways.))
"Ruby," she said in a low voice. "I do know what a soul is. And I know that this creature does not have one. But you do. I may not like you or your kind, but I do know that you are not all soulless--and no matter which one of you exists in a copied body, or if you both do, or neither of you--between the two of you? I'm not the only one who would rather you exist.
"We'll all die or live regardless of what you do or don't do to it. This thing" she gestured to the vampiress "is not a bargaining chip; it is a deadly tool waiting to wake up."

Seth parries Ayx's weapon and move to the side away from him. Truning to face Ruby with Lilith held as a hostage... Why is it that all my plans fail me...
"Don't do anything rash now Ruby..." He lowers his sword and sheaths it "...Just don't harm Lilith" He keeps Ayx in the corner of his eye. He also sheds his alternate form. "Just let me leave with the vampire" He watches closely every movement of Ruby, AC and keeps an eye on Ayx the best he can.
Ghost is still running around with supplies ignorant of the fight going on around him due to headphones blasting music in his ears

A.C. turns sharp eyes on Seth, furious. "Turn thou away, most foul Villain," she spat in an archaic tone. "Thy Wickedness shall not this Day prevail. Thou hast Failure found--begone in thy Darkness."

Ruby gave AC an odd look. "You got some mighty stout opinions about good an' such, considerin' all the things you do." She shook her head, and turned to Seth. "I'll let you take her an' leave, but next time I'll kill her." She had already tried slicing Lilith with the blood blade, but didn't want Seth to know that, particularly since she found out that she couldn't hurt Lilith with her own blood, because the blood registered Lilith as her.

A.C. wasted no time ducking a hand under Ruby's blood sword to try and slice Lilith's throat with a 3 1/2" switchblade. "I'll explain later, if we get a chance."

The blood welled up at the vampires throat spilling out.
Ruby gave a shocked glare to AC. "That was mine to do." She swore softly as she heard Ayx's command to run. She grabbed AC by the wrist. "Now you got reason to be runnin' as fast as me, come on, Move!"

"Heh!" A.C. grinned, twisting her hand to grab Ruby's in return. "Just see if you can keep up!" I do love a challenge, even if it's nothing more than running for your life... She sprinted, leaping and ducking around things and people, for now just running straight.

Ruby let out a laugh, "I've been runnin' since 'fore I could walk." Since her healing powers took care of any damage done by the strain of running at high speeds Ruby could be a fleet little thing. She matched AC's speed easily. "We'll have to make it a real race sometime." She yelled as she moved past the obstacles in her way.

"Yeah, my grip is fine." Ruby said, tossing her head with the question. Her hair bounced like hyper, red-springs. "Why do you ask?"
(There are no buildings left, they got pretty much vaporized....The shelter is mostly based off of tents at the moment. So yeah, they're running outside, and probably moving towards the minefield.)

Because A.C. made a sudden sharp turn to the right hard enough to yank Ruby off her feet. A.C.'s grip was decent, but the cloth she wore was designed slippery enough that Ruby would probably have gone flying if she had not also been hanging on.
"Because!" A.C. gasped. "Straight ahead was too obvious, easy-- chase." She was breathing a little hard, not entirely from the sprint. "You--you able to sense that thing, Ruby? Do you know if it's alive? Uh--unalive?"

A.C. slowed down a little and shrugged as she ducked behind a large tent. "Wasn't sure. If--you two were made of the same genetic material--and I saw what it did to your sword--thought maybe you'd know if it got nearby. Or it would know if you did, if I didn't disbatch it too well..." She trailed off, eyes staring distantly at where they had left Seth and Ayx.

Growling Seth telports out of Ayx's grasp and to Lilith placing a hand over the wound to keep the blood in as best he could. "All of you will die soon enough for this!" He telepoerts away with Lilith still holding as much of her blood in as best he can till he is safe within his own tomb where he could reverse that damage done hopefully
