gundamwarrior13 *He lifted his hand in a clenched fist, unable to find words to vocalize his thoughts. He was furious and ashamed at the same time. His fury ebbed as the image of a woman stepping into the room eclipsed his previous thoughts. As she entered the room with him the lights went out and she hurried over to him. At this time he remembered the connection to Sapphire's mind and severed the link, glaring at her as his emotions continued to run amuck in his mind.* "I . .I . . I'm sorry." Sapphire says tears rolling down her face. She couldn't begin to image what had happened to him or why. Sapphire beings to run her hands on her face she runs away from Torret towards the Muffin. No good came from knowing anothers thoughts and memories, unless they were willingly shared.

*Torret watched her run off as he struggled to regain himself.* **Nothing good ever comes of indulging your human nature. How many times do you have to learn this before the lesson sticks.** *The voice within him spoke mockingly, berrating him inside his own head.* **It's time to put this all behind you. Forget about it all.**
*By the time the voice quieted down Sapphire was already out of sight. Torret turned and vanished into the darkness around him, striding through the shadow of the world around him.*

((I'm so sad I think I can't do it...))
Ukiel was sitting on a stone, reading his novel. He looked around constantly, hoping to see Trina soon. He had way too many things to explain. He fixed his robes and kept reading, his cheeks red from the so romantic plot he was reading.

And eventually, Trina does happen by. And the first sign of it was the rain that started falling from nowhere. It was soft and cool to the skin, but not very good for books. And the instant Trina turns the corner, sees Ukiel with a book, the rain ceases, as easily as a thrown switch. Dark eyes shift from the book to Ukiel, a hesitant smile curving her lips. "I'm sorry..." She offered softly, not meaning to let him get rained on. "Very...very much so." She hoped he wouldn't yell at her. She didn't like getting yelled at.

Ukiel looked up when he started raining but when he saw Trina he smield, knowing that it was her, "Now I know how to find you." He stood up and took some steps towards her, taking a package out of his robe, "I got you a novel on your language." he bowed a little to be almost at eye level, "I thought we could talk about what the prophecy might say...and how you might be the one to help us."
"Oh yes. That is very good." She responded, happy he had not been angry. The second statement translated, and Trina blinked in surprise. Her langauge? He...how...it was so long ago... "...I didn't know such things existed." She said in surprise, a smile curving her lips. "That is very good...English is slow to read." Trina's dark eyes watched Ukiel's, nodding. "Yes. If you wish." She was perfectly fine with that. Very much so.
He sat down but on the floor, to let Trina have his seat. He put his book down and fluffed his huge wings, streteched them behind him to feel a bit more comfortable, "Before I tell you something,"he fixed the sleeves on his robes, "Do you know what has been going on lately? with all the fighting...?"

Trina sat down on the ground too, as if uncomfortable with sitting somewhere higher than he. Strange world she'd come from. Dark eyes were more serious when he asked her if she knew. "Yes. But not why. I know there is war, and that is enough to be of worry." She said, voice still soft, but slightly tense, as if Trina were remembering something that scared her.

"Well, the person that wan't to have a lot of power, might end up blowing everything up. The prophecy says someone compassionate will be the one to stop it. My friend Lou identified you as the one tohelp us." he tried keeping a smile in his face, knowing that frownign might make her nervous.

Trina immediately thought of Sachin, dark eyes still, not leaving Ukiel's face. This was different, she forced herself to remember. Different. Pulling herself from memories, Trina spoke again. "How do I help you?" She asked softly, intent on assisting in any way she could.

"I need you, to try to talk to the demons, convince them that Ghost is not a friend. They won't listen to me." he looked down, thinking of the strategy. He had to keep her safe.

"Talk to the demons." Trina said softly, wondering, slightly, just how one went about it. Well, she was glad it wasn't fighting Ukiel needed her to do. "I will do that." She said with a nod, the name Ghost not having as much weight as it did for others, as Trina had never met the woman, only heard the name spoken by Tomo, and in annoyance at that. "But...Ukiel...why would they listen to me over you?" This throughly confused her. Especially since he was important, and she was not.

Trina understood. She would do as asked, and gladly. Dark eyes looked mildly suprised at the second statement. Ukiel thought she was cute? Mild confusion, but also a small amount of happiness swirled through her mind. "...Thank you." She said, a smile curving her lips. "You are very lovely too."

Ukiel looked confused but then smiled, "Why, thank you. That's it for now. If everything gos well, Ghost won't get to see a demon cemetary." he took his book again and looked at it, "I thought this would be a good book you would like. Lovely story between friends, separated by circumstances."

Trina hoped everything went well. Cemeteries were for the dead, and Trina didn't want anyone to die. Death itself was a scary thought, mainly because she could not die, and did not entirely understand it. Her dark eyes rested on the book. "I like books. Very much so. There are many of them in my language. In another place." She stopped talking for a moment, realizing she was talking about Sachin's horrible house. Trina threw the thought far from her, focusing instead on Ukiel's words. "It sounds very interesting." She agreed.

Ukiel got up and opened a light gate, "I better go back home. My horse will get mad at e if I get to dinner late again. Take care, small child." he slipped into the gate and it closed immediately.
