Ananda felt a sudden searing pain in her right arm, and looked down to see that an orb of...something...had collided with her arm. Seeing two more headed for her, she sped up but didn't have time to teleport away from them. The second hit her in the center of her back, and she fell to the ground to avoid the third. Through the mist, she could see a wave of the same stuff as the orbs headed towards her, and rolled to one side to avoid it, ignoring the new stabs of pain as her new wounds hit the ground. She teleported herself carefully to the other side of the room, taking advantage of the few moments when she was behind Kenzi to haul herself back to her feet. Her right arm was throbbing, and she knew it would be fairly useless in the fight from now on. So, she threw her left-hand dagger with a quick flick of her wrist towards Kenzi. She aimed it carefully, so that it would hit him in the arm rather than somewhere that the wound would be more serious.

Rille, not having spotted Ananda in the training hall, ran for the nearest arena: Dark Prayer. She flew inside, her braided hair streaming behind her, and saw Ananda immediately in one of the fighting fields with Kenzi. Oh god. I was right. And she's using her power too, just like I told her not to. About to run into the arena and stop them, she held herself back. If I go running in there, like as not I'll just get hurt myself. I can't do anything to stop them now, I might as well just wait now.

Kenzi watched her closely, holding back fromany further atack and when she teleported he quickly turned as soon as sight was lost. As he did this he also scooted to the side a bit, so as to dodge any head on attack. Instead of dodging one though, the dagger headed for his arm hit him crookedly in the chest and he slid to a stop in his turning instead of paying attention to the new scent he caught in the air. He grabbed at the dagger, but coulding ell the direction he'd been hit with all of the blood running over it. So he left it there as he ran at her with claws ready, throwing another wave of mare energy at her with his right hand. As this attack shot off at her his direction changed and he aimed for a different angled approach, trying to ignore the pain as he moved with the dagger still cutting under his collar bone. The energy was purple, much like Nightmare energy but with a lighter color than that energy. He didn't see a quick end anywhere in sight, unless that girl from before interfered.

Ananda looked up, seeing Rille standing by the door. Oh no...I didn't want her to see me fighting...at least she's got enough sense not to get in the way. While she was distracted, the wave of energy sped towards her. She noticed it too late to get out of the way, and nearly doubled over in pain as it hit her. Then Kenzi was running up to her and she slashed viciously at him with her remaining dagger, her injured arm half held up to protect herself.
Rille looked on in horror. Part of her was fascinated by the wave of energy, she had never seen anything like it before. She wondered idly what sort of damage it was doing to Ananda, then shook her head violently to clear that thought away. What am I thinking? That's my cousin, not a...a lab rat! I've got to stop this somehow...but how? She wrung her hands together, looking away from the fight. Please...just let it end...

Kenzi noticed that she was slashing at him as he sped toward her, and instead f backing away from her slashing he went into it head on, letting her make arather large gash in his side as he pressed forward and she made contact. His cloaws as effectively spread as they could be, then dug into her skin as he made for tackling her to the ground, he made sure to keep his enjoyment from being noticable though as he did. He looked concentrated, not entertained. When this was ove he would have to attempt to use Yuri's method of healing for her...though it would be a lot easier then it had been for Yuri when healing Kana earlier. This would not take as much out of Kenzi, nor would it require any contact of the same sort. He would use his Dark Lightning to try and heal her...the same thing that injured her might be able to heal her...of course he did not know of Rille's ability so he probably would not be using this at all. Though he planned on using it the further they went into the fight. If she teleported again he'd teleport too...

Ananda fel backwards as Kenzi hit her. She threw out an arm to catch herself, realizing too late to swich that it was the arm that had been injured earlier. It hit the ground and gave out, sending her sprawling. Careful to use her good arm this time, she shoved herself back up into a crouch. She rested there for a moment. The teleporting was starting to affect her, and she felt slightly dizzy. It passed after a moment though, and she stood quickly. This time she waited, to see if Kenzi wanted to continue. She was sure that if he did, she wouldn't last much longer.
Rille steeled herself, and walked out into the arena. Steady there, it's just like giving a performance. In a ringing voice, she called "Enough! Please! Ananda, I know I made you promise to go to the hospital, but this isn't how I meant you to get there. No more, you're about to collapse."
Ananda sighed, leaning against the wall. In truth, her legs were starting to get a little shaky, but she wasn't exactly sure how Rille knew that. Looking at Kenzi, she raised one eyebrow. "I'm willing to ignore her if you want to keep going," she said softly, "but she's right."

Kenzi was just about to speed into another atack as Rill had walked into the arena and he forced himself to halt. She said that they should stop, but then Ananda said she would gnore her and he thought for a moment. The reasons for the fight were beyond the importance of Ananda's temporary well-being. "I would agree to leave with you to the hospital, if the importance of this fight were not as high as it is." So he finished. And he looked over at Rille and with a flick of his wrist sent a rather large wave of mare energy, revealing that he was holding back on Ananda in that region, toward her. When it reached her it would encapsule her within a mare-energy barrier built to keep her in but not keep anything else out. After he'd done this he turned his attention toward Ananda and opened his palm toward her, an orbof mare energy shooting out at her at half-speed so that there would be time for confirmation before it hit.

Rille beat on the barrier with one fist, scowling darkly. "Let me out! You don't understand! This will kill her, you idiot, unless she stops now! And it'll be your fault! Let me out!" Her shyness had been completely forgotten, and she continued to beat against the barrier, hoping that it might give way. Why don't they understand? This is literally life or death!
Ananda moved quickly out of the way of the oncoming attack, letting her teleportation boost her speed but not actively teleporting. Knowing that Kenzi could keep attacking her from afar, she ran towards him. When she was close enough, she kicked at his stomach, trying to knock him off his feet. I've got to end this soon, I'm exhausted. What is Rille on about now? Any kind of fight can be deadly, doesn't she know that? Of course she does, she's not stupid. She must have meant...my teleporting? Nah, that's just not possible.

Kenzi ignored the girl's protest, for he knew it would probably soon be over anyway as he was going to begin teleporting himself...as he did when Ananda kicked at his stomach. Within inches of her kick he teleported away, reappearing right behind her and throwing a kick of his own at her with the most of his strength put into it so that it might knock her on the ground. "I can teleport too..." He spoke with an arrogant tone, trying not to ignore the fact that this was his first impression still, sort of, and he hoped he might hit so that he could seee how quickly the fighting might end. He himself did not care how long it lasted, but she seemed to be overloading herself as she used the teleportation anyway...if she didn't use the teleportation she probably would have held up longer against him...Whichever ended up happening during her fights with whoever it was trying to catch her, he assumed now that theywould not be much of a challenge for him-even if he had to hold back as he had here.

Ananda, surprised, went sprawling. She scowled at him, trying to shove herself back up. Somehow she couldn't quite find enough strength to get back to her feet. "I give...you win." She closed her eyes, content to lie there for a moment before trying to get back up again. Should've expected that. Not a bad idea to save that for the end...I've got to remember that. Quite the suprise attack. That's the best fight I've had in a long time.
Rille nodded. It seemed things were over now anyways. "Now will you let me out Kenzi? I'm really serious, she needs to get to the hospital. Ananda, don't you dare pass out. D'you hear me?"
"My ears work perfectly well," Ananda replied, not opening her eyes. "Rille, I'm fine. Well, sort of. You know what I mean." To prove it, she began pushing herself upright with her good arm. She made it up to a sitting position, and stayed there. Maybe I spoke too soon...

After Kenzi sent her onto the ground, he heard her give up an stood there a moment. After a few moments he heard the other girl speak and looked over at her, the mare energy dissipating. He stood there silently though ow, as he wtched what would happen next only remembering the other fights hed had withdemons who ended up losing to the same teleporting final blow. That he could teleport was ood for in battle, but rarely did he use it at all except for in meaningful fights. None of the normal fihts that he had ever been in had hbeen very serious, there were just afew and that meant that there were even less of them where he used his teleporting ability. Normally that was just a really fast form of transportation for him and not a weapon...there were many other ways to kill his opponents without having to use his teleportation and waste energy on such efforts to make a surprise attack. It was not quite the smartest way to go into a fight, so here he did not go into it with much of a serious look on the fight-thus the only reason he actually teleported at all was that his teleportation had recieved an effect boost and became twice as quick and half as draining.

As soon as the barrier disappeared, Rille ran over to Ananda, kneeling down next to her. She examined her cousin with a paniced efficiency, poking and prodding at the various wounds. She was more worried than she let show, knowing how the teleportation would have affected Ananda.
Ananda jerked back from Rille's examination. "Leave me be, cousin, I'll live. You're only making it hurt worse. If you have to do something, heal me up enough that I can go get some rest."
Rille scowled. "You're not going anywhere, except the hospital. Now. I'll patch you up enough that you can make it there, but you're not getting away this time." Both of her hands were glowing a pale green, and she put them lightly on Ananda's arm. The glow spread to all the areas Ananda had been hurt, beginning the healing process.

KEnzi watched for a few moments and then walked over as rille began to heal her. "May I ask what actually causes her to become endangered by teleporting?" he asked this very calmly as he had not really known exaclty what might come and after the question was out he felt that he might actually be interested in knowing about this weakness of hers. He had no downfall to teleporting, so whatever it was for her he wanted to know before he ended up finding her dead before getting the chance. ONe of them would surely reply, and whichever of them did finally decide to reply would be the one that he payedthe least attention to. He did not do this stuff on purpose but it always seemed to work that way when there were more than one person in a conversation that he was participating in. Rarely had Kenzi ever actually enjoyed having the company of fellow demons, it was not that he did not like their being near him...it was more that he did not like the idea of being of the same race as such weak beings. His brothers had not become even near his current strength until they had all participated in the Gaunltlet in the Realm of War. The Brothers learned much from their experience there, and though it was not the best of experiences for them-definitely not the most enjoyable-they all grew stronger.Somehow they all grew stronger, and Arcaine grew so strong that he temporarily had the members of the Fox Den enslaved...ironic that such a formerly peaceful demon would grow to such strengths over merely a couple years, maybe even just months. Kenzi had not grown as much as them though, and that he could defeat her so easily said that he would not need help from iether of his brothers and in fact would not need to know her weaknesses for they would not matter in a real fight and he was here to protect her from any external dangers now...

"If we knew, I wouldn't be in such a hurry to get her to the hospital," Rille muttered angrily, finishing up her quick healing. Going back to ignoring Kenzi, she said "Stand up," to Ananda. "I want to see if you can walk."
Giving her a dark scowl, Ananda rose shakily to her feet. "Whole, healthy, and leaving," she said, starting to walk towards the door.
Rille grabbed her wrist, yanking her firmly back. Although she was small, ander and fear gave her an extra boost of strength, and Ananda was really in no condition to resist. "Nice try. Cut it out."
Ananda groaned. Almost made it. Gawsh, the kid's fast. Ah well, it was worth a shot. Might as well get this over with, I guess. "Alright, if you're so dead set on it, let's go. If I have to go to the hospital, I'll do it, but quickly." She turned to look at Kenzi. "Are you joining us, or do we go our separate ways?"

Kenzi blinked a few times whe n finlly he was referred to again, and he thought for a few moments. Why would they go their seperate ways because of a hell-hole visit? He shook his head and spoke again. "I'm not gonna walk...but I will go. In fact I'll take you two." he said this calmly, and disappeared, reappearing beside the both of them and grabbing their shoulders. After he had a firm grip, they were taken into a pitch black area and within the next few seconds arrived at the hospital. There was not much taken out of him from it...but he thought now about whether or not he should have done that-since it was possible that the reason for her becoming in danger could have came from teleporting period. It was not a very difficult concept, or so he thought, but at the same time he knew nothing about it and apparently Rille knew little. He would have to follow them and trust that they would figure it all out on their own. "See how easy that was?" he asked this quietly, talking to himself at an audible level that made it appear much differently.
