Athari crouched, belly skimming the ground, and stared at the two other lionesses who'd joined the initial one near he and Taku. So...many..lionssssss! he thought, half-panicked at their near proximity but unwilling to show it. Lifting his lip in a half snarl, his eyes darted between the trio of lionesses and the entrance to the cave, looking as though he might bolt. Having one adult male lion around was worrisome enough...even though it was King Mufasa...but three lionesses? gonk he pondered, shifting nervously, his tail curled tightly around one of his hind legs.

Sarafina perked up from her cleaning, sniffing the air curiously. What was that? She knew that smell. She'd grown accustomed to it, you know, after hunting so much. It smelled like fear. Her lips curled into an amused grin as she stood up and padded her way over to the leopard cub, spotting his obvious tension. The lioness tilted her head, and gently poked him in the side with her paw. "Are you alright, young one?" She smiled warmly, hoping not to frighten him. After all, he was such a cute little leopard! whee

Aris Ravenstar Sarafina perked up from her cleaning, sniffing the air curiously. After all, he was such a cute little leopard! whee Athari's eyes widened slightly, and he had to force himself to hold still, and not swat at the idle paw Sarafina poked at him with. He was so tense, he looked positively breakable. Eyeing her with suspicion, the young leopard blinked. "I..I'm fine!" he practically shouted, forcing the words to come out without wobbling...if a few notes higher than it usually was ((from PH34R! domokun )).((*luffles on Aris* 4laugh ))

The lioness was taken aback by the young leopard's sudden outburst, but just smiled again. His anxiety was adorable, whee
She leaned her head down so close to the petrified cub that her nose almost touched his, and paused there for a moment, before purring in a cutesy voice, "Are you sure you're okay?"
Sarafina grinned brightly at him, wondering what he'd do next. Gee, this was fun!..

Athari's eyes narrowed slightly, his lip curling into a slight snarl before he caught himself, and took a wary step back. "Why're you getting right up into my face?" he asked her, his voice barely civil. "I said I was FINE." he continued, his irritation finally overpowering his fear...not a good thing, since he could be a rude little snot. xd .

Sarafina pursed her lips. D'aww, he was trying to be tough! How cute! She resisted the urge to just pick him up and snuggle him for risk of violating his personal space again. The lioness opted instead to step back a bit and sit down in front of him. "So, what is a leopard doing in our den?" She asked as she flashed him another friendly (maybe too friendly, O_o) smile.

Athari blinked, having expected to get smacked around at least, by one of her massive paws. "I came with Mufasa..." he murmured, eyes widening again when she smiled, eyeing those potentially deadly teeth a mite nervously.

Maawios sapphire eyes gazed across the savvanah, her legs folded neatly under her. She watched with her paws kneading the ground slightly, curiosity dawned on her young face as she watched the creatures converse. They looked like they were unfamiliar with each other, and Maawio, could now see from afar, what she looked like when she was nervous. She eyed the leopard, uttering a sigh as she picked up her paws and headed southwards to where her and her mothers den was located. She only had to take a few steps to arrive at the mouth of the den, for all lioness' dens where in pride rock itself.

Taku couldn't help but hold back her laughter as she watched Atahri, she then smield at the lioness and lowered herself to the floor playfully like a pup always was. She smield softly at her and licked her small chops before talking. "Hi I'm Taku...who are you miss lioness?" She asked sweetly, her huge green eye's fixed on the lioness's muzzle and face.

Athari whuffed, still skittering the edge between fear and...fear, and eyed Taku out've the corner of one gleaming eye. Stay calm...just stay calm.. he told himself over and over again, more tense than he had been when they'd first run across Mufasa, even.

Nala stretched out on the floor, her paws kneading the stone and small claws plucking at the inconsistancies in the nearly flat surface. Yawing she sprawled out on the ground, stretching out her back legs in an attempt to wake them up. Setting her head down on her paws again, she considered going back to sleep. That little tussle with Simba really tired her out.
"I really need to get out and get some more pouncing practice in, can't let Simba get better than me.. Not that I'll have to worry about that happening anytime soon." she said, giggling to herself. Rolling over onto her back, her head against the stone and her small pink tongue lolling out onto her nose. Nala looked back and forth around the den, her eyes swinging like a pendulum of an old clock, surveying the area.

Sarabi laughed softly as she took a seat once again. "Sarafina, your scaring the poor thing! No one here will hurt you, since Mufasa brought you here. Relax. If your hungry, there is a carcus inside the door way over there. Its almost gone, but should still be good." She lifted her paw and licked it carefully, cleaning the dirt from the fur and under the claws.

((Sorry for the late reply.. Have been busy the past few days and such, X3;; ))
Sarafina closed her lips into a polite smirk as she turned her eyes to the petite fox. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Taku!" she replied politely, gazing at the little one with her own laughing green eyes, before turning to the Queen.
"Oh, am I? I'm sorry." The lioness chuckled lightheartedly and tossed a benign glance in the direction of Athari. She then began to clean her own paws whilst idly wondering what Nala was up to..

Athari bowed his head in Sarabi's direction, but his wary eyes never left Sarafina. "I thank you for your hospitality, but I am not hungry." he said formally...or tried to. Unfortunately, his stomach said otherwise, choosing to growl loudly at that particular moment.

Nala batted at the air for a minute before rolling back over onto her side, her tail flopping lazily on the ground. Hopping up agiliy onto her feet, she brushed a paw against her twiching nose, "Ooo!" she said gleefully at realizing what had suddenly set her senses off, "There's someone new here!"
Quickly looking around, she spotted the newcomer and ran over, slowing her steps as she reached the group and ending in a calm gait. Sitting down gracefully, she curled her tail around her paws and smiled curtiously to the Queen and her mother before turning on the leopard cub, "Hi! How are you?" she grinned, bright eyed, "My name is Nala, what's yours?"
