Jeika glanced back to Misaki a moment before shifting to stand on his own again, bowing his head just barely to Nikolai. Nice to meet you...he muttered, looking to Misaki with a sort of 'are you finished now?' expression. Okay, okay, so I'm no good with strangers...he scolded silently.

Nikolai watched the two for a moment and desided that Misaki was definitly the more friendly of the two. Would he be able to make friends here? "I am not so good with strangers myself. I have been shunned and feared for very long time." He felt a bit awkward standing there saying such a thing, especially infront of Jeika.

Feared? Jeika snorted, sort of smirking as he looked to Nikolai with an arced eyebrow. Why would someone fear you? His tone was a little demeaning, but he couldn't quite help that - This was his first outting in the Underground.

Yeah, why were you feared? Misaki asked, interested, sort of playfully elbowing Jeika, who asked in a much less friendly tone then she did.

Nikolai stiffened again, his eyes narrowing slightly at Jeika. "Because of what I am. People from my native country run me off. They do not want a cursed and posessed soul near them." The conversation simply reminded him of why he didn't like being with others. It was always one thing or the other but no actual acceptance.

Toussaint smiled at Sinya, slightly bemused, not sure she'd understood everything the other woman had said. She decided to stick with looking for a map or someone who could give coherent directions. "Let's look for the main desk. There should be someone there." Toussaint struck an heroic pose, chest out and arm pointed dramatically forward. "Shall we?"

Sinya laughed then nodded. "Yes, let's." Before skipping off with Toussaint, she glanced toward Nikolai, hoping he was alright with the other two people. She then headed off to the front desk to look for someone who worked there. Since she remembered seeing it when first entering, Sinya found the desk without any trouble...but no one was there to help them.

Toussaint banged her fist playfully on the desk and growled a little. "My goodness, is this place even open?" she joked. "Well, I think I saw a coffee shop on my way here. I can get some coffee and some pastries there for breakfast tomorrow, and directions besides. Someone will be there." She smiled at Sinya and offered her elbow. "Care to come with me?"

Sinya smiled then nodded. "I would love to go with you." But before she skipped off with her new friend, She took one last glance at Nikolai, sending a brief message to his mind. I will be going to the coffee house. Do not be afraid of these people. If you need me, just call. Nikolai simply nodded to her. "Alright then, let us be off!"

Misaki kind of nodded, wrapping her arms around herself. I see...well... she said, looking over her shoulder to Jeika again. She looked back to Nikolai and slumped slightly, shifting her weight to the other leg. What exactly are you, that they feared you so much? she asked, her voice sympathetic, but not offensively so.

Nikolai watched Misaki. It seemed like she was trying to be nice in which he appreciated. He wasn't so sure about Jeika, however. "Well..." He started off by pointing to his small horns and wings. "Demonic possession is one...but that was after I was cursed with vampirism." He shifted a little uncomfortably. It was an awkward combination and one that most normal humans would fear...but he had a feeling that the two infront of him just might now be normal.

Misaki nodded, smiling to him. It's okay, now that's nothing to fear, sweetie... she said, tilting her head. I'm the offspring of a goddess and the devil, she said with a smirk. So I've been in that boat, Nikolai. Cursed, though? That's upsetting...were you, by chance, mortal before?

If he could have paled any more, Nikolai would have done so. A goddess and the devil? Would she be evil? He didn't think it'd be polite to ask...even if he wanted to know. "I was. I was in wrong place at wrong time...then became possessed when looking for help to get rid of the curse." His shoulders sagged slightly. Sure, he'd seen a lot of the world and got to remain in a young-appearing body...but he missed being alive.

Ooh...Vampire. Just your type, hai Misa? Jeika snerked, still insensitive to the fact that Nikolai wasn't brought up the way he was, where those things were rather common. The 'real' kind...Judging from the accent... he continued, looking to the stranger. Where're you from, anyways?
