this is the non-human mages quarters, they're in the same boat. You see that many of the features of this part of town are either scorched, burned with acid, or frozen from spells people have been practicing with. You also see two mages attacking each other with a spell you recognize as magic missle, though both seem to have cast a sufficient shielding spell, clearly a stalemate.

The divination shop is badly lit by candles placed sparsely around the room. No light can filter through the thick curtains on the windows either. Along the walls you see various tools of the trade: bowls of water, cards of many kinds, and a few crystal pendulums. In the middle of the room is a large table covered with a scarlet cloth. On top is a crystal ball roughly the size of a cannon ball. Seated at the table is a very old rakshassah woman with gray fur and large hoop earings. "I knew you would come here," she says, "I also know you have many questions. Tell, me what you'd like to know."

"You are Aria," she says, "you seek to find the mage who killed your father. I can't tell you where he is however, since he has a field that repels my magic. I can tell you how to find him though....I'm afraid you do have to ask anyways. This is required for the spell."

"Well that's more of a statement then a question," she says, "but you've stated your purpose, and that's enough." She stares deeply into her crystal ball for many long minutes and then finally speaks again. "I see you looking at a poster nailed on a wall just outside of this very shop. I cannot tell what it says, but I see that it will take you to the one who you are looking for." she holds out her hand, "that's 10 gold."

When you step outside, you see two posters on the very same wall. One reads, "Mercenaries needed for job from king." the other reads, "lost: raven familiar. Comes to "blackwing" when called. Seems to have mysteriously disappeared for no reason."

maybe when I get one of the items I'm questing for the poster looking for mercenaries says nothing else about the job, but includes a map to the king's castle.
The poster about the lost familiar also reads: "last seen flying over bandit camp. was badly injured and disappeared after being healed."
