Not my fault. It's rather hard to get Internet access whilst rafting the upper Colorado River. xp

Anyway, before we wander TOO far off-topic... anybody have a piece of trumpet music that they REALLY like to play? Whether it's a solo piece or just your part in a concert arrangement, share it with us!
I have a novice-level arrangement of the Star Trek: DS9 theme that I love to play, just because it's Star Trek. Well, I think of it as novice-level. *shrug* There are a fair amount of top-of-staff Gs.

i hated the old trumpet section leader at my school, but the new one is my best friend. he is only an incoming sophmore. he became trumpet section leader by default. you see, all the other trumpets last year were seniors. they have graduated.

I like the new stuff we got.
No One Mourns the Wicked and Defying Gravity from West Side Story.
wootwoot.
Right now I can't play though. My top lip, from playing so much yesterday, has a gash in it. D:

My top lip, from playing so much yesterday, has a gash in it. D: Ah, I know how that feels. I get these weird little white "boils" on the inside of my lip whenever I don't play for a while and just start again. They suck so much. As for splitting your lip, use Neosporin. It works wonders. 3nodding

Heh. The cut is actually inside my mouth, so.. I don't know if I want to put Neosporin.
It does work very well on elbows after planking at band camp, though. : D
