Narra tilted his head and filed away that information, "Flowers do have an extensive vocabulary so you're correct about the intention of the giver. As for the red rose, I'll keep that in mind for when the time comes." And without missing a beat he glanced at the odd, blobby-looking plush Topaz unboxed. "What is that?" He gave the plush a cautionary poke, as if expecting it to squeak or something.
He knelt down beside the baphomet and took out one for himself. It was a silly-looking thing but it was green-colored and therefore the dryad was more welcoming of it. And Narra supposed the more he looked at it, the cuter it got.
Shard was at first too busy grumbling under his breath to answer Ganymede properly, at least beyond nodding in agreement. When he felt cool-headed enough, the baphomet had to admit, "I wouldn't mind watchin' someone else getting beaned by that cannon." Which goes to show what sort of sense of humor he had.
When he noticed Ganymede's markings light up, "Well damn, you're like a beacon when you getcher glow on!" Shard sounded more amused than anything. "You ever play any sports? I betcha you get targeted a lot in dodgeball. Probably why them plushie cannons likes you so much." he supposed before he snatched some candy from a committee member carrying a whole basketful of them.

Wayne grimaced, he thought visibility was a legitimate concern to have for another freshling. And if they really were blind, where was their caretaker? Seeing-eye wisp or no, it wouldn't be safe. When Lilo began mimicking him, the imp really should have taken this as his cue that the whole thing was a mockery of him. But what if this was just a defensive reaction to a stranger pointing out their disability?
With a sigh, Wayne lowered the second plush from atop his head, carefully balanced two plushies with one arm, and with the other tried to grab one of Lilo's wrists. He whistled for the wisp (though he ended up blowing a few raspberries before he got the right sound), "Okay boy, uh, or girl, uh, wisp-thing. Lead on and I'll make sure Lilo won't run into the booths or tables or other people. On account of her being blind." And he said this with complete seriousness.
Someone slipped a bracelet into Wayne's outstretched hand and made it look like he was trying to give her a bracelet. The grimace on his face never left, "What race is your caretaker? Or do you got parents instead?"

Whoever it was throwing these plastic arrows around nearly poked Ami's eye out had it not landed in her hair instead.
Ah, so Eno had had feelings for her for a while now as well! They weren't exactly kids anymore and some of the things they had done as kids had started to become more awkward. Hopefully now, those would seem more natural again! Well, there would still be a sort of different meaning to them. Still, she was happy she'd be able to sit in his lap again to read a book without feeling too self-conscious about it all.
"I really-like-you-too." Ah, there it was again. Could she not say anything like a normal nightmare? It was like someone was fast forwarding through all of her speech. She'd never been so nervous when speaking before, it was like her thoughts were coming out too fast for her to keep up with . When he asked it they could go somewhere quieter her whole face lit up and her wings fluttered nervously behind her. Somewhere quieter? W-what did he want to do? Was she prepared for this?
Her eyes drifted down to the brownies on the table. This could buy he just a little bit of time. Just enough to ready herself for what she thought Eno probably had in mind. It wasn't that she didn't...want...a kiss? She was thinking it was probably a kiss. She just had to prepare herself. This was Eno we were talking about! The thought alone was enough to make her want to curl up and be too happy for words. She realized then she must have had the most awkward look on herself, he head shot back up and she pointed down to the brownies.
"It would be a shame to leave this behind. But after that we can-head-back-to-the-dorm?" Ahhhh, her mind was screaming at her to just get the words out already. Despite trying to say it in a calmly manner. There was something she could do though, something she hadn't been able to do since they'd gotten older cause it just seemed way too awkward. She pinched off a bite of her brownie and held it out toward Eno. She knew he'd know what she was trying to do, even if it had been a while since they'd shared their food....Her face probably looked like a lightbulb at this point.
Piper seemed to have a habit of collecting all the awkward and shy friends she could get her hands on. For some reason she also seemed to pick up mutated friends, one might think this was totally against her outgoing personality. But well, she'd be friends with anyone that was willing to be friends with her! It was just an additional bonus if they loved to run around and play in the dirt as much as she did.
"Ah, I was mostly just concerned because you were coughing at all. I'm pretty hearty myself! Are you okay though? Can I get you anything? Maybe some water? Or something warm to drink?" Piper was a bit of a health enthusiast herself, with her mother being a doctor and all. She really did have a bit of a high level of concern for people when they seemed to be sick. She always wanted to do whatever she could to make them most comfortable.
"If at some point you feel like we need to sit down that's okay!" Piper had a bad habit of running around and running around and never stopping until she dropped. That might not be so good for someone who wasn't feeling all that well though. She'd have to keep that in mind as she spent time with the cute little mutated Fallen.
Well, if Atoris could be confident then so could Maggie! She really doubted that anything could go too terribly wrong. There were teachers and event staff everywhere in the event that something did go wrong. She didn't know why she was so concerned, probably just because she was in such a new place.
She watched as Atoris managed to win himself a grand prize in the game. She even jumped up and down when he landed his bean bag! "Way to go Atoris! I'm proud of you!" She cheered and when he was handed one of the cutest familiars she'd ever seen she rushed over to him and the little...vespercat? It was adorable! She gave them a little pat on her head. "They're adorable! Seriously, good job Atoris!" Maggie was all smiles as they gave the cats more affection than it could probably handle. Maybe because they saw the attention and where jealous, but suddenly another Vespercat was at Maggie paws, rubbing at her legs.
"Ah! Look Atoris! I think someone was jeeaaallouuus~" She scooped the Vespercat up into her arms and the cat meowed happily at her and even started to purr as she rubbed under it's chin. They were so cute! "We have to think of names for them!" She was so excited! Suddenly her nerves from earlier had disappeared.
Foras had started wandering around for a bit when he didn't spot Alioth right away. Maybe he could find some gifts for other friends while he was at it. He also had a little siblings he needed to pick something up for! He was thinking sweets might make the perfect gift for little Ophrys, hopefully the little hybrid liked chocolate.
Speaking of little siblings, rather suddenly he felt the force of someone small running into him. He tipped to the side and with some wing flapping and tail wiggling he managed to stay upright. When he looked down he saw Ophrys had wrapped his arm around his legs. Ah, he was just as adorable as always!
"Hey there Lil' Bro!" Foras was pretty big himself and since Ophrys was so small he was easily able to pick up the little freshling and give him a big hug before settling him back down. "I got this chocolates for you Lil' Bro." He smiled and ruffled the freshlings hair a little bit, ah how he loved this little kid. He was too adorable for words and he was constantly reminding him about that!
When he looked up he say the other person that he really liked. He put on his usual smirk, but tried to tone down his behavior a bit since Ophrys was there and all. He didn't want to give the kid any weird ideas about courting. "Hey there Starshine, I got you this flower for today!" He held out the blue rose and as the Fallen got closer he pulled him into a tight hug and gave him a little kiss on his cheek as well.

With the treats nearly gone it was time for them to dive back into the festival. The litter vespercat followed along after them, it seemed to be quite enthralled by the set of twins. Lori really hoped that it would get along well with their flitterats that they had back in their dorms. They seemed well behaved enough, although definitely one for all of the affection.
"Alright! Time to play some game!" The first one she spotted was a balloon pop one! She took her dart and on her first try managed to win herself a plushie! She picked out one of the cute sealpup ones. They seemed to be a bit neglected! She snuggled it close and then moved out of the way so that Bailey could have a shot at the game next.

It looked like he'd finally managed to put Lori into a permanently good mood! All it took was some sweets and an adorable vespercat to wander their way! Call it luck if you had to, but at least she was smiling and enjoying herself. She was even the one to suggest they play some of the game! He looked back to make sure the cat was following and then with his hand in Lori's he followed her around to check out the games.
Dart games were pretty easy, or so he thought. He didn't actually manage to pop a balloon until his third dart! Talk about playing it close! He was lucky enough that he won himself a plushie though! He picked one of the cute nezubat plushies, those were his favorite kind! The little fluff bodies add cute wings were adorable!

All of this running around had definitely put the thought of sweets into Leilah's head and this was the perfect sort of Holiday to find something to fill that need. She actually didn't have to wander very far at all before she found a booth giving away heart shaped boxes of chocolate. It certainly wasn't the same as receiving one from someone else, but she'd enjoy it all the same! She popped the box open and enjoyed one of the dark chocolate candies inside. Yummy!
She glanced around to see what she could do next and happened to spot Gany, one of her friends that she'd already found a gift for! Her tail flicked behind her and she shut her box of candies to and made her way over to the glowing Geist. Something must have upset him, but that wasn't exactly a new thing for the Geist.
She avoided giving him a hug, mostly because there was someone else with him and she didn't want that person to see the light show that would be caused by her doing so. "Hey Gany! Happy Jubilee! I won this plush just for you!" She handed over the purple grumpy looking vespercat plush with something of a smirk on her face. They were close enough now that she knew he'd know why he got such a grumpy looking plushie.
She turned to the companion he was with then. Honestly she was a little surprised Gany wasn't with Chries or even Foras for that matter. Still, if Gany was actually hanging out with someone it probably meant one of two things; he was tolerating the other people talk to him or the other person likely had a personality that meshed well with Gany. That last one was a bit of a scary thought honestly. "Hi there, I'm Leilah. It's a rare treat to meet a friend of Gany's!" She smiled and her tail wagged just a bit behind her, unintentionally it brushed against Gany for a moment.

Gaeleath was still running around and playing all the games he could manage to get in line for. He really was enjoy himself, even if he was running around alone. He didn't mind being by himself, he was honestly quite used to it. He found himself a claw machine and played it until he managed to win himself another plushie. It was a nezubat, still cute, but not as adorable as the fluffbug ones! Maybe he could find someone to give it to? That or he could give it to one of his parents back home! Yeah, that could probably work. With that in mind he went on search for the next activity that looked like a lot of fun.

Meliae couldn't help but frown, shaking her head a bit. She still couldn't fathom why a girl this scared would come to a big event like this, especially if she couldn't even cross the street. "It's fine. I'll stay right here, if you don't mind." She stated calmly. "What game would you like to go to then?" There wasn't a whole lot to choose from on this row, which meant they might run out of things to do pretty quickly, but they could work on that later.
Aiday frowned and said "Are you sure?? I don't want to spoil you fun just because I'm afraid.. after all we just met so you don't have to stay with me.." Aiday said softly. Chau said cheerfully not really seeing a reason why he couldn't be her boyfriend!! Chau went to play the strength game and then came back with the little plushie and to pet Estys's familiar. "Aww cute" Then he held out the plushie to her "Will you be my girlfriend now??" He asked sweetly

Camrine smiled brightly as Fig accepted her gift to him, she liked him a lot and hoped they would get the chance to learn so much more about each other. Camrine had the hope that some day they would fall in love with each other, but she didn't want to rush things. Camrine laughed as the little fluffy bug spoiled Fig's surprise "They are lovely thank you Fig." Then Cam then in and kissed his cheek as the fluffy bug continued to try to get the roses. Camrine smiled at Fig and the little blue bug "Is he your familiar??" Camrine blushed "You didn't have to put them on inside Fig." She laughed softly, though it was a very sweet gesture.

Cimara held his infant daughter Natsumi in his arms after he touched her and told her it was time to wake up. "Ah it appears she is a female.." he said softly and pulled back the blanket and noticed her little dryad leaves. Then he tucked her back in so she stayed warm. "Aqua I'd like you to meet my daughter Natsumi. I do hope she will enjoy swimming with me when she is older, it will be good for us to learn together." Cim looked at Aqua "Do you really think I won't mess this up and she will not run away from home because she doesn't like me??" Cimara nodded and pulled out his phone to exchange phone numbers with Aqua "Your help will be most welcome." Cim went to a near by booth to buy a pink vespercat plushie for his daughter, then returned to the table to talk to Aqua more.
Enoukn felt his own cheeks flush at Jezebeth's admittance that she liked him as well. It had been expected, but still, hearing it made his chest tighten and flutter and his face grow unbearably hot. If he knew what was going on in her head, he would be even more flustered and embarrassed. Not because she was off the mark.
But because she was right on the nose. Eno had wanted to kiss his pretty friend for awhile now, but had been too nervous to... take the initiative because he had been concerned that she only viewed him as a friend. Having not wanted to ruin their friendship by taking things too far, he had kept his feelings to himself.
Now, as she lifted the brownie up in offering, he couldn't help but open his mouth and take a bite of it. She was right, it would be a shame to leave the treats uneaten. After he swallowed, he reached down and picked up some of the brownie and offered it to her, with the following words.
"Maybe... we... should... visit... our tree?" He asked, his face flushed hotly at the suggestion. It had after all, been where all of this had begun.

This was so so so hard for the Goblin as she was extremely torn between running off and staying. She liked Rae, and enjoyed his company, but there were just so many elements going on right now that had her anxiety through the roof. Standing awkwardly she watched the exchange go on between the two, and she quickly hid the book she had gotten for Rae in her bag that she had brought with her. Citali did not want to give the wrong impression and with what she saw with the locket, she knew there was something going on. There was nothing wrong with giving a friend a gift...right? Now she had even more to worry about! Why must interacting in society be so complicated?
"P..p...p..please to um, um, well um m..m...meet you." She squeaked out, knowing that she probably couldn't be heard over the crowd. Citali really wanted to try to make her friend happy and stay, but, how? She turned her attention downward and watched the ground, her hands clasped tightly together.
