Attacking The Mob

0 damage to the Alk Mob.

The shifter was getting tired and the small cuts and scrapes on her body weren’t helping either. Alassiel couldn’t stop here though, she had to push on. She’d already seen too many bodies being dragged off the battlefield from injuries or bodies left because they had died. No, they needed to push back the Alkidikes. Though she was still stuck with this opponent before her, the girl had nicked her again and she was sure she would bleed out if this didn’t end soon or if she didn’t see medical attention. Alassiel had no wish to die a slow death though.

Kill him? Ha! She could try – in fact, he welcomed it! He gestured, beckoning to her to come at him. The look in her dark eyes was murderous: this would be a fight for both of their lives. Moreover, she was right about at his level or so. He dodged her powerful strike, dancing around her with his blades in a merry dance of death. "Can't catch me!" he chortled.

"Don't be afraid to make a mistake." She said, noticing how the boy faltered slightly before he nodded but thinking it was for fear of not doing it correctly. Once more Winta picked up the spear she had been working on and found a large double pointed tip to fashion onto it.

"Don't worry about it." Winta said with a smile before patting him on the back. "I've never met anyone like you before, ever." She winked before returning to her work. "So you've never met a leaf?" Winta asked curiously.

She frowned. She couldn't tell Kadriye what to do, but she did wish that her girlfriend would listen to her and go to the healers. While she understood the message that Kadriye wanted to send, and she agreed with it the whole thing sucked.

As Kadriye spoke she struck at a few of the mob. However soon Kadriye was back in her arms, and in worse shape then before. "When this is all done you have to teach me to heal better, and I'll teach you how to defend yourself." she said, trying to make her think of anything else.

”I can!” she said, jabbing at him with the purest intent to kill that she had ever felt before. ”And I will!” but could one really catch a nightmare? She attacked again – now was the time to try. A glance behind her told her that her daughter was no longer present – away safe, or away to further danger, though? Kaalnia hoped she would live long enough to find out.

The two Alkidike sisters leading the fighting called out to their Sisters, their war cries piercing through the air. Push forward they yelled. Keep them squirming.

It was only when their voices couldn't be heard anymore that the mob began to look for their faces, for their encouragement and their confidence in them. But they were struck down. The forces of the traitorous Sisters on the earthlings side was beginning to take its toll, and without someone to lead them, what were they to do?

The Matron stood tall and confident still, her spear swinging through the crowd and cutting down earthlings as they continued to battle. Though she was older now, she still could hold her own in the fight. Her mastery of the Alkidike's way left her with barely a scratch. She was the one they would turn to now. She was the voice of encouragement. The Matron's angry eyes pierced down to the bone. "This is the final push! Am I to believe that I put my faith in another batch of weak Alkidike?" Her antagonizing was an encouragement to the mob. Make the Matron proud. Prove that she was not wrong.

"So far it looks like we're lucky on the injured front," Kayin said as she watched some walk into the tents. "I hope it stays that way honestly." She sighed as she fiddled with a couple strands of hair. Healing really wasn't her thing though, and neither was just sitting around doing nothing, but she also knew that being untrained as a fighter meant she'd take one step out onto the field and pretty much be done. She didn't even have a dagger, what was she supposed to do, punch them to into submission? She laughed to herself. Actually that sounded kind of fun.

Looking around Chalcedony sought out those that he was going to battle with next, and then suddenly spotted his sons atop one of that Oban beast that Aysun trained. He blinked a couple times then started to back towards them as they made their way toward him. Good, there they were, but what about Keilana? He'd lost her in the midst of the battle while the Alkidike started to surrounded him, trying to get their shots in. As they came at him again he shifted his stands, dragging his heavy shield up, and was able to fend them off this time around. It seemed as though there might be less of them now, and after making a sweet of the battlefield he saw that the leaders were downed.

It was just a shame that they hadn't decided to fall back after losing their leaders. He had hoped that it might throw them off guard and get them to retreat... but with the Matron still yelling at them in her own 'encouraging' way he supposed that they wouldn't just give up, would they? Giving a shake of his head he decided that he wouldn't dwell on that, instead doing his best to both fight off those women still remanding while also shuffling his way toward his sons.

He'd do what he could to protect his sons since it did look as though they had been injured at least a little in the battle. Not something that pleased the shield barer in the least bit, but he supposed that it was inevitable that it might happen. Once he got to them then they would see about finding Keilana amongst those still on the battlefield.
