They did not - however - ever like Kya very much, or trust her. After all, she was the Kage that Kleine had bowed to before becoming the bloodthirsty conqueror he was today. By association of harboring a monster, their alertness had risen around her. Now - they figured she was about to show her true colors. "Cecil may be weak according to you, but that does not change the state of this village. You are strong. We are strong. Lucius is strong. Mist is still the #2 world power. We are the source of hope for all of the nations that fear the wrath of the Karnata Dynasty. If we face disloyalty and betrayal now - or instability - imagine how all of that might change."
They were not expecting to fight her - they didn't want to. They wanted her to step down . . . because this was what Shinsei wanted the most. Disruption within his foes, so that he could form his ultimate global power.

It was expected that Kya would do this so it was no big surprise. He went to where Kya was and simply listened to the rest of the Kya's little speech. "You talk about the Mist like you know it so well. I was not Kage back then and I replaced that Kage for that reason exactly, the Mist has only grown stronger since then. As for those two ninja, regardless of the fact they were acting on their own. They were your ninja and since its obvious you failed to control them, the blame lies on you. Kya my brother died because of that attack and many other people. You are in the end responsible for it. You were forgiven Kya yes but forgotten no. That blade is only in your hand because I needed to stall you for just little longer. I've known for a while you would try something like this and by known I mean suspected. After all you have hinted at it the entire time you have been in this village. Kyon and Mayu I ask you to trap us together with a Barrier. If she is insistent upon this course then I will have no choice but to fight. It is your choice if you choose to do anything more, I won't stop you if you want to try to take Kya out. As it is not my place to stop my own ninja from trying to execute a power hungry traitor." With the proper amount of hand seals, his lightning armor activated except it wasn't what he used the hand seals on. He needed no handseals after all. It was the genjutsu that he had trapped Kya in, she would be paralyzed by the fear of seeing her own gruesome death ,till she broke out of it a few seconds later. However Cecil also used the Chidori Sharp spear all at the same time. By the time Kya got out of the genjutsu, she would not have enough time to dodge it, seeing as Cecil was much faster then her. She would be maybe able to block it however, hopefully not. The spear in the end would be aimed at her heart.

In the end, he was still a naive fool. She wasn't powerless to stop Lars and Kleine, she simply didn't know where they were going. She also didn't care when they returned since the action stood in her benefit. His brother was, after all, a shinobi, and as such he would live or die by the measure of his own strength. When Kyon and Mayu spoke, she had no words. She simply had to conceed that she had indeed once harbored Kleine, back before he was the enemy. However she would, at one point try to get them on her side, or perhaps to trust her. However, her focus was on Cecil, and as he formed seals she recognized where the chakra was going by it's flow in his body. She made her own seals, nuibari falling to the floor, her eyes glowing bright as all hell as he finished his seals as well. The moment he cased the genjutsu, he would find that it instead was afflicting him. Instead, he would find himself caught under the very jutsu he himself intended to hit her with. This, of course, meant that instead of seeing her own death, he would see his own death instead in a horrible fashion, paralyzing him with fear and confusion as to how it happened. But that was fine and dandy, for in the time it took him to perform his seals, Kya loosed a technique at him, the same one from before which blew out the windows. This time, however, it was an SS rank variant that would fly at the speed of master level propulsion from the magnet release. Considering he couldn't move at all since his own trick was used against him, he would find himself in a dire position, and Kya was in no danger at all. She also would perform a set of handseals, ready to spring again in case he somehow survived this predicament.

Mayu acknowledged that her Mizukage's plan had failed, and Kya was much stronger than him. He was to die - surely, if no one intervened. Logically speaking, that was bad for the village. With their opponents on the horizon, they could not afford to lose such a high-ranking shinobi. So - knowing that Kya had won their "honor battle," Mayu decided to step in at least in order to save Cecil's life. As Kya prepared the powerful magnet technique, Kyon dramatically sped up the opening of a very powerful technique: the Space-Time Calling. A rift formed in the office, redirecting Kya's blast into the sky. This would mitigate damage to the building. At the same time, she used the most powerful variant of the Prisoner's Cage, though compressed to fit only her, her brother, and Cecil inside. "Kya, enough! You have won. I accept you as my "Kage". But you shan't kill Cecil. He is a valuable shinobi of this village - and killing him, that'd just make you look like a traitor. We don't kill family. Our brethren in combat are family." The two of them - the twins - stared her down, ready to battle if she did not concur.

xxxxxMasako gently drifted into a tree before taking on a more physical form. Down beneath her, it appeared that Kya had already started her assault upon poor Cecil. It seemed that Kya was in no need of any form of help at all, and if appeared, was about to win this fight if something didn't save Cecil in a matter of seconds. However, it was not likely to go over well with the rest of the village that their leader was being so soundly disposed of by a single person. From out of her pockets, several dozen petals marked with seals would fly around the battlefield, gently landing on the ground. They wouldn't be used offensive, but simply to create a maze of barriers, spread across a several block radius, that would prevent anyone from interfering with their fight. It was a complex mixture of physical and chakra barriers that would be activated with a snap of her fingers if need be.
xxxxxShe would then push her hand against the tree branch she was sitting on, sending a surge of chakra into her hand. A moment later, a small Kodama summon would appear on the the branch next to Masako. From its position, it would climb up the tree and onto her shoulder as she waited for the battle to end.

Zephyr walked in. He smiled a bright smile with a laughter that was kind of... off from normal. Upon walking into the Mizukage's office. He spotted Cecil throwing the scroll which contained the seven swords seal scroll. Kneeling shortly to Kya, Zephyr walked over to the wall and leaned against it. "I suppose you didnt need me after all, Madame Kya. It seems you were quite easily able to dispatch the former Mizukage. Congratulations, Lordess Kya." He stated calmly. Looking at the others in the office. He sensed the Emissary. He still needed to get her to allow him to sign the summons contract. His eyes then settled upon the twins... twins... twins... twins...

Kya smirked as the twins involved themselves with the fight and saved Cecil from his own mistakes and foolishness. As they spoke, Kya barely heard what they were saying, uncaring for why they intervened. He had lost and that waqws all that truly mattered to Kya. Her eyes, even from that distance, were those of disappointment. He failed in less than seconds, of his own accord. Kya would take nuibari, placing it upon her back again as her gaze would crush down upon Cecil. The naive whiney Kage had officially been deposed. You think yourself important enough to be spited by me? Ha. I came here to challenge the "strongest of the nation" for the position. Do not attribute your failure to anything other than your own lack of strength and conviction, Cecil. The mist would have burned beneath you, and with me it will blossom. Now that you've proven not only your naivity, but your weakness, take your leave and rest, former Kage. As he left, she would walk into a warp in reality originating from her eyes, stepping out again in her office.
As for Kyon andMayu, they could hate her all they wanted. She honestly didn't care. They would get over it. It was odd to her that they spoke out against her, considering she, again, had done nothing wrong. He attacked her first, and he tried a cheap trick. All of it just reflected back on Cecil. She grabbed a broom and dust pan, quickly getting rid of the broken glass she had created and then walking to the openings. When Zephyr entered, Kya would smile and hold up a finger. She would close her eyes and lift her right foot. She would stomp her foot, entering a horse stance and calling up a few pieces of earth from the ground, molding them and cutting them with her power, then setting the metal pieces in. It turned into a stain glassed window for each slot. Kya would then turn and sit in the chair, looking to Zephyr, expecting Masako to come on in as well. Kyon and Mayu, this is Zephyr, she said looking at the twins, examining their chakra systems, guaging their relative strength and deciding what to do with them. She rubbed her chin a bit, removing their file from the desk and reading it over. They had an impressive dossier indeed. With Micheal coming in, Kya would narrow her eyes at him for a second, and then look back at the file before her. As my first mission to all of you, I would like you two, as a gesture of my good faith, to take Zephhyr here under your wing as a student. Your strength, influence, expeirence, and presence in the village is strong and appreciated, and as such, I think it is you who would be best suited to take a fledgling from my past under your wing, and mold him into a strong shinobi. His special set of skills are those of a medic. I think you'd be perfect in fact. To be honest, she knew in order to get the demons down, Zephyr would need to be FAR stronger than chuunin. From her seat of power, she stood to increase both Mist strength, and Kech Mara standing in this one move. A tic mark formed on her head as she realized she had to do work now, maintaining a double identity. She would have to defend mist from leaf, which would be easy without shinsei, while simultaneously working from behind the scenes to get the demons in order to form the saigon. Once that was done all this talk of war would evaporate, and Mist would be safe, under a greater rule than a kage. It would be under an Empress.

Slowly walking into the office, Oda allowed his beautiful blue eyes to slowly dance around the office, taking in the sight of the various people standing around in it. It was a strange thing; having so many people in an office at once but he assumed that since last he heard it was a male Mizukage, the woman was a new addition; hence the commotion and people randomly standing around. Blinking slightly the Samurai tucked one hand in his Kimono sash, leaving his other hanging limply at his side, allowing him to be more relaxed as he stood before the woman. She was rather beautiful, with alluring eyes and long hair; holding a slightly regal look to her. He listened to them speak for a few moments, somewhat tuned in and somewhat not; instead focusing on taking in his surroundings with a calculating gaze. He was taught as a child to always take in what was around him, just in case he needed to escape from the office should something dangerous happen. After a moment of doing this he looked towards the woman in the office, bowing slightly in respect before speaking in his usual respectful silky tone. "Greetings Mizukage-sama; at least I do hope it's Mizukage-sama. My name is Oda Ryuu; a samurai in your army. I came here today in hopes of asking you to teach me, or at the very least allow me to spar with you to better myself. " Giving another respectful bow the male looked into her eyes calmly, despite knowing the risks involved with it.
Kya had already been reading over every file on every shinobi of note in the village. Her eyes were alight with all of the possibilities, but what she was looking for specifically couldn't be found in a file. She would need Masako and Zephyr to do her a favor in that regard. All of that aside, Kya seemed to have a lot of people coming to visit her. She looked up to Yami, who hadn't heard the news yet. She could see it was a clone, and as such, she narrowed her eyes at it. As he asked the million dollar question Kya leaned to the left and grabbed the hat, a blue water symbol adorning it, and placed it on her head. She would smile at him, coy and sly as always, and looked back to her paper work. Cecil was challenged to a duel, to determine who would be Mizukage and I beat him. He is now licking his wounds somewhere, probably brooding. She spoke the words almost as if they were established months ago. That she'd become kage, and Cecil would be pissy about it.
She would scribble something on one of the dossiers, angled so that only she could see who's file it was, and then place it down, closed on the table. Another person walked into the office, someone observant by the looks of him.
