It is as if all the courage from you has been sucked away, leaving a hollow husk of a flighty, terrified person. Everything scares you. The longer you are in the room, the worse your fear gets, until even words can cause you to jump.
In effect, she no longer was.
Amarus was not timid, she had never been timid. She struck out through her fear, she didn't jump because the ticking sound that had been there all along suddenly scared her. But now she did. And in her dark paranoia, she began to suspect and fear everyone, as well as envy them.
She was scared, and she'd kill if she got the chance.
CURRENT EFFECTS: Event #2 doublespeed; can post every 5min instead of 15, attack 2x in a row if applicable.; Event #4: Jealousy. Very prone to attack, especially other factions. Event #5: Timidity. She is jumpy, shy, her courage has left her.

[[ ROOM 20 ]]The infernal ticking was going to drive her mad. She almost felt like she was going to cry, or start to pry her skin open with her bare fingers just to let the terror and anger and jealousy out, and to make it all worse she was moving and thinking at twice the speed of everyone around her.
Twice the time for agony. Twice the time for misery.
She was so close, she had to be.
Or did it go on forever? Was she, the person she had been, dead?
"I'll show them, the horrid creatures unafflicted by this-- no, no, I have to stay away from them, must stay hidden, must move fast..."
The division in her mind was ripping her to shreds.

"Careful with the claws, ah, Yes, but, nnn-" The floor jolted under Barth, and a trapdoor sent them both plunging...somewhere else.
Barth rolled to a stop, and got to his feet.
Oddly, this happened at a regular pace, instead of an excruciatingly slow one.

Zar hissed in surprise as the floor went out from under them, denied the fear he needed by the inconvenience.
"No!" he roared as he untangled himself from his own coils and once again determinedly went after Barth, completely ignoring the other demon's request to be careful with his claws.

She wasn't sure who she should honestly follow...
Medea or Charon.
Instead of picking, she just fell behind until she was actually within the tower itself. Her go was just to get to the top, not fight or pick sides. She didn't see a reason, as she didn't know what was going on.
Not to mention the only pony that could explain everything to her, she lost the moment she was within the tower. With a small sigh, she looks around at all the different doors as they float about.
While she was use to the portals, this was just a little to much for her.
Pulling her hood up, she tucks her hair behind her head before moving towards the door. Without hesitation, she pulls it open.

"Yess. If you don't, sss, mind," The room was fortunately- temporarily, empty, although like the other rooms had a strange, shifty energy. Zar's leap was met with a knot of thick, wicked looking thorns, which wrapped around Zar's neck- and wrapped, and wrapped, struggling with the weight of the natural form as it pulled him fiercely ceiling-ward.
"I'm not enthused about getting their offices back for them either. One less paperwork nest in the grand scheme of things is a karmatic favor. But I don't have time for ressspawning a few thousand times."

It seemed like whatever hand of Fate was currently guiding Taima along had decided to take it easy on her for the moment. She had been inches away from plummeting to the next room, which had started far below her but quickly rose to her level just as she stepped inside.

Slipping into the room, she pauses as she glance around. Kasja was honestly expecting something bad, but then it just seem to be a normal room.
Glancing behind her, she blinks a few times when she realize the door was missing "I guess I can only go forward from this point on." she wasn't at all please about this, but honestly didn't want to get trapped within the tower either.
Pulling on her cloak, she continues to move, looking around for the next door.

Racing to the end, Amarus found the exit, and she was free at last. Free.
Her head should begin to clear, now, and her regular personality could return... and she would never, ever set foot in a contraption of this ilk again.
