Farvardin pulled her rope in and saw two more go flying towards the moon man. The one was in the man's grip before it slipped out and the other... well the other didn't help at all. "No no you two. Like this!" She said to Alec and Lillian. She took the end of her rope and made it into a lasso. She then swung it above her head and threw it to the man. Maybe he'd be able to hold onto the ring end if she didn't lasso him. Her aim was true this time and she lassoed the man. She then pulled him in and got him up on the dry ground. "See?! Lassos.... best thing to use."

She watched as the Moon Man was finally reached. "A lasso... I admit I didn't think of that. Hmph. Well, no matter who saves him.. good job." She was so tired. From being knocked out and half drowned she could barely muster the strength to stand, but she continued to look around the area for anyone needing help. She noticed someone still in the canal, and flung a rope to him.

AS I FORGET TO ROLL. She missed, managing to accidentally hit him with the rope.. but have it float too far back to be reached.

The younger looked on as Farvardin managed to reel in the moon man. "My nerves are shot." Alec confessed, shaking a bit as he'd contiunesly come just a bit too shy each toss. The costume wearing man had been saved finally, expect for another splash sounded. Blinking as he recognized Cyril hit the water he gave a small sound of dismay. "My gods this is a nightmare..." He shuddered, going for a rope, and tossing it to his friend. "Hold on Cyril!" he called out to the boy who'd been catapulted into the water. Lillian was already trying to help him, but a second hand couldn't hurt right? ....especially with her smacking the poor guy. "Hey, hang on! I'll pull you up." He called out as the rope landed by the other, the red head was running on pure adrenaline now. Lifting several bodies from the water was tiresome, but he pushed himself refusing to stop.

Shun was quite done with the parade as well at this point. Rikki wasn't dead so that was good enough he supposed, though he just sort of 'hmphed' at Danny before turning away. There were still a lot of people either laying around or still in the water. Did he really want to help more out? He supposed it was technically his duty now to do just that. That was somewhat of a pain. Oh and there Cyril was in the water. He was tempted to just let him flounder about until someone else spotted him. And sure enough, Alec was on the case instead. Fantastical Jamz NEVERMIND YOU BEEN GOTTEN

Farvardin looked over at Lillian and gave her a grin. "I'll admit I didn't think of it at first either. Just dawned on me." She said with a short laugh. She turned when she heard a splash and saw Cyril go in. "Does everyone want to swim or something?" She muttered to herself. Before she could take any action Alec had fished the other boy out.

Lillian tried to help Alec pull the other from the water, even if he refused it and did most of the work. She couldn't tell if there was anyone else in the water. She couldn't tell if there was anyone else needing help. Still, all she knew was that she felt useless at this point. She turned to Farvardin, listening to him. "It seems that way... and with most of us unable to aim something as simple as a rope without trying several times they MUST be having the time of their lives right now."

Another lasso throw was tossed to him by Alec along with help from Lillian. This one ended up making it back to him. He grabbed onto the rope as Alec reeled him in. As he got out of the water Cyril shivered. "Ngh thanks guys, I owe ya" he said with his teeth chattering.

Alec took a long slow breath exhaling. He'd done as he set out too in helping who he could. He couldn't see anyone else in any real time danger presently. "You have my back..I got yours no worries." Alec dismissed his owing him, patting the other on the arm gently. Slowly he rubbed at his head, seeing as it still smarted. Letting his knees sink onto the grass, just too catch his breathe and calm his racing heart. While he was afraid of being trampled, he needed a moment before charging off again. "Keep an eye out if anyone else needs help..I think we got to everyone so far." He cast a look at Shun, sending him another quiet mouthed thank you. For the moment he let himself sit there, listening to Farvardin talking to Lillian, and glancing over at Shankuntala and her knew kitten companion. Continuing to survey the scene he noted that Danny was safe, and so too was Rikki. Elliot had been pulled out from the canal after a bit of a mishap, just as the child in a mouse costume, and moon man had been. Lenore was unharmed..and while cold Cyril too, was fine as well. Everyone was accounted for. Alec couldn't have been more relieved. idk everyone/anyone. lots of mentions

Let's March!Username: Lark Longwood Character: { XXXX} Costume: XXXXXLark was enjoying the parade, something she would begrudgingly have to tell her brother, who pushed to come to this thing in the first place. He was pushing her to get out and meet new people. Her brother had even made this beautiful costume for her from all the feathers found around their shop. She loved it, it was so her. EDITLark was so lost in thought she barely caught glimpse of the parting of the crowd around her. The whiny of the horses and the heavy hoove clicks broke her from her haze. With startling finesse she was able to dance and skirt around as horse and person alike ran around her. She stood unscathed looking around to see what it was that had happened, before seeing the carnage that had was left in the stampede's wake.

Axel saw the pink-haired boy from the flower stall on one of his furtive scans of the crowd, but he looked away again before he spotted Preacher. The ground was a bit slippery with rose petals from the ox carts, and he didn't want to fall on his face. Axel was kind of trancing out again, getting back into the rhythm of just dragging the barge along. He was also tired, and although his aches had mostly faded every time he moved in certain ways his bruises twinged painfully. For all of those reasons, or perhaps just because he was not as quick on the uptake as some, he did not hear the creaking or notice the danger to the Utopian barge until the other barge pullers started running over to try and help pull it out of danger. It was a futile effort. Axel wasn't close enough to the Utopian barge to be hit by any falling debris, but he was struck by a crazed horse from behind on its mad eye-rolling charge to nowhere. He hit the ground hard enough to black out for a ******** horses. HP: 5

<******** horses! He sat up, conscious but dazed by the impact, and felt his face. Nose unbroken. Check. Good. It was slightly bloody, but that was minor. He wiped the blood away with his shirt and tucked it back under his belt. Axel stood, steadied himself, and looked around. There was quite a lot of yelling as people tried to help others, corral runaway horses ( Qixel

It seemed as though no sooner had Farvardin and Elliot spoken, then disaster did in fact strike. With a deafening crack, the barge's mast snapped right off. Horses scattered and falling debris rained around them. "Watch out!" she yelled, just in time to see a stray horse knock Farvardin over. She sprang right back up though, and threw herself into the fray helping to pull others out. Luckily, Farvardin managed to yank Elliot out of the water. This was going to be a long day. For Preacher, however, dodging the horses and falling wood was easy. Moving with grace indicative of a good night's sleep, Preacher even managed to sending a few parade viewers out of the way of danger. They had all just stood there, mouths open, like so many bumps on a log. But this kind of chaos sat ill with her and she jerked her head around wildly, straining to see if anyone needed help. Her mouth opened and a strangled half-warning came out as Axel was knocked over by a horse, but he was fine. Of course he was fine. doot doot who needs saving? c:
