After about five to ten minutes, Jay returns.
"I don't know. There's at least one person up there. I can't find anyone else, but they might be hiding. I don't know. Maybe I should just stay in this form for a while, just in case."

"If there are others hiding I'll need all the backup I can get." Darian says. "Besides, which is more threatening an elf and a frost giant, or two elves and a frost giant?"

He chirps up, flitting over to a bush to change back to his elvish form.
He steps out, fixing his shirt, then says, "Well then, could you hand me back my stuff?"

Jay catches up and continues with his girlfriend's cousin.
The giant says, "I'll go with you, but won't move much as it is a large area that I cover."

"Alright." Darian says, resisting the urge to challenge Jay to a race. If the cloaked figure really is back then this is no time for fooling around. The elf strides forward, a gleam in his eye. Today, I break the curse.
