There would be a sudden knock at the door and should one answer, a note would be seen. As it reads: "You have been invited to a small get together at Death's Mansion. Lady Shira, eagerly awaits your arrival."

As Ellise attempted to cook something (and was failing miserably at it), a knock would be heard. "Uh... crap! Naomi! The food is one fire again!" she shouted frantically as she tried to figure out what to do with the smoking pan in her hand. She finally managed to do a quick sprint across the kitchen and put the pan under water from the sink, causing smoke and steam to jump up. Ellise whimpered quietly "I miss Shira..." she sulked as she fanned the steam and smoke out of the window near the kitchen which had been open for obvious reasons. "Looks like take out is the better option for now..." She remembered the knock then and quickly went over to the door and opened it to find only a note. Ellise read it quietly "Huh... Looks like she settled down enough to do one of these things..." she said as she closed the door with the note.

Naomi stepped out of her room as she finished her last braid, coming out in time to see Ellise exiting the kitchen to go answer the door. She peeked into the kitchen to make sure the fire was out before she went to the door where Ellise was holding a note. "If you're having problems in the kitchen come get me before the fire starts," she told Ellise in a friendly tone. She leaned over Ellise's shoulder and read the note. "A get together? What kind of get together?" She wondered aloud. It seemed strange, but she would like to see Shira again. "I'd like to see what that's about," she added. A get together could be fun and maybe help her take her mind off things.

"R-Right..." Ellise said when Naomi commented about getting her before she ignited the food. It was a little embarrassing to think about it now. Her gaze went back to the note then "The Death family always had these sorts of things. It is yearly for them to host a party," she explained. She knew this because the Death Family in her world did the exact same thing. "I am assuming it is a lot smaller though and for obvious reasons since they don't want anything bad to happen to the family or to the mansion itself since they just got done rebuilding it and Lord Death has just recovered," she explained as she set the note down on the dining table. She smiled as Naomi seemed up for going. "Great! Plus that means we can eat food that isn't burnt today," she said with a laugh before glancing to the kitchen again, her laugh dying down quickly as embarrassment took over again.

Naomi laughed lightly when Ellise seemed to get embarrassed. "It's okay Ellise, I'll help you learn. You'll be cooking like a master in no time!" She thought about the party for a moment. "We'd host parties occasionally in The Machinist Order if an ambassador or dignitary of some sort was coming. Or sometimes Saint Clara would just be in one of her.....party moods. I'm not sure what a Death Party would be like though. I guess...in your world you wouldn't have gone to those, right?"

Ellise looked over at Naomi as she spoke. Since they were going to be roommates, Ellise figured it was a good idea to tell Naomi the basic summary of who she was and what she was doing here. "I wouldn't. Though I am taking a wild guess that the Death parties in my world are similar to the Machinist ones you have experienced," she said before glancing at the note again before thinking about if they had to dress for the occasion. "I wouldn't think Shira would be the party type so this little even should be pretty classy... I would hope," she said with a small laugh as she walked over to her room to see if she had packed anything that was remotely nice looking.

Ellise laid on the couch located in the apartment's living area. She scribbled multiple things in a small but obviously worn down notebook with a twisted expression on her face. Obviously she was thinking over quite a bit. She was waiting for any orders from Umbra to arrive but she had yet to hear anything that that was making her anxious. To pass the time she began writing some possible plans for the future against their world's DWMA. She recalled the kishin Lily now had. What were they going to do about that. Somehow Ellise found herself doodling instead of jotting down notes. She fell back on the couch then, slapping the open notebook over her face as she let out a sigh. "Curse Umbra for taking so long with updates... There isn't anything to do..." she muttered under her breath. She peaked from underneath the notebook and stared at the glass door across from her that lead out to their deck. "I know it being peaceful is a good thing... but I never thought I'd say I am bored with it..." she muttered with a sulk.

==== ☠ ==== The Reaver walked through the streets of Death City, though something seemed off. He was quieter than usual and his expression was grim. He seemed to have a destination in mind and he was well on his way there. Lily had disappeared some time ago after a huge explosion that had taken place in the Plains of the Apocalypse and there'd been no other word from any of the other alts since. He was usually fairly calm about such things but now he was starting to get worried. He had a bad feeling about the whole thing. But there was one person he needed to check on, even though it might be risky. The last thing he wanted was to think up an explanation as to why he was visiting an enemy if any of his teammates showed up. Still, he needed to know if Ellise was okay. He'd found his way to Shira's old apartment before so he had no problem doing it again. He slowed up as he reached the building, worried about what he would find inside. And if Ellise was okay, what the heck was he going to say to her without looking like he was stressing out over this? He sighed and reached out, knocking on the door to the apartment. Did she know what was going on and why everyone had suddenly disappeared? He took a deep breath as he waited for her to open the door. Hopefully Shira and that other chick weren't there. It would be a pain to make up an excuse to them too.

Ellise glanced upward as she heard the door knock. She couldn't tell who was there though. Since this was Shira's old apartment, it had been installed with some sort spell that would mess with whatever wavelengths were in the building so that way Shira wouldn't be located by anyone sketchy. Ellise sat up then and walked over to the door, opening it and peeking out to see who it was. She blinked then as she saw it was The Reaver and opened the door all the way "Hi..." she said, trailing off as she stared up at him "Is something wrong?" she asked.

==== ☠ ==== The Reaver looked down at Ellise silently for a moment. He didn't let his relief show but he sure felt it. "Ellise," he began. "Do you know what happened to Lily? Or any of the other alts? Have you sensed whatever happened in the Plains of Apocalypse?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Lily went out to fight someone....or something. She told us to stay behind but a little while later there was some kind of explosion. Not a normal one either. It practically tore a hole in the sky!" He trailed off after a moment. "So...uh, know anything about that?"

Ellise raised an eyebrow as Reaver spoke "Now that you mention it... I did feel what happened at the plains.... It was a lot smaller here so I didn't think anything of it..." she said. She glanced at the ground, obviously puzzled by this now "Weird..."
