Matthias wandered up out of the dungeons that were the Aqua laboratories. If anyone thought he looked tired yesterday, than they wouldn't believe today. The man had worked all through the night and could hardly keep his eyes open. He slowly shuffled his way towards the stairs that lead up to the second floor, where all the dorms were.
"I need... to check... on my daughter..." He mumbled. He wasn't sure why he choice the word 'daughter', but he was too tired to correct himself.

Ren spotted Matthias first, and pointed him out to Kasumi, and they walked over to him. "Hey, you don't look so good. Didn't sleep so well last night, huh?" Kasumi asked. "We didn't either" Ren told him.

"I didn't even try to sleep..."
He was slowly making his way up the stairs.
"Did anything else happen?..." He dreaded to ask, in case something did.

"Nothing we are aware of" Kasumi answered "We retired for the evening as soon as we got back." "Before we arrived for the mission, we made a trip to Mt Pyre, tried to catch some Pokemon and ran into a couple Team Magma grunts, but that's not the sort of thing you are asking about" Ren answered. "I am starting to have trouble accepting this world." Kasumi answered "It all feels wrong. I don't think Team Aqua is supposed to be like this, but I don't know where things changed or why."

"Does anyone blame... her? For what happened last night?"

He went unusually silent, dreading the answer. "I can't speak for everyone." Ren answered as they walked closer to Maddy's room "But she did not want to do that. Archie forced her too. Everything that happened there was all on Archie." "I agree. Anyone that blames Maddy would have to be pretty stupid" Kasumi answered.

"I'm glad..."
They arrived in front of the door to her room. He knocked at the door.
... No answer.
He opened the door and peaked in. It seemed she was asleep.
"Maddy? Wake up."
She mumbled something in her sleep and turned over.
"... Maddy."
Nothing.
"Maddy."
Still nothing.
"MADDY!"
She turned over and slowly opened her eyes.
"... What?"
"You awake?"
"Are you seriously asking me that?"

MaddyMage "I'm glad..." They arrived in front of the door to her room. He knocked at the door. ... No answer. He opened the door and peaked in. It seemed she was asleep. "Maddy? Wake up." She mumbled something in her sleep and turned over."... Maddy." Nothing."Maddy." Still nothing."MADDY!" She turned over and slowly opened her eyes.
"... What?""You awake?" "Are you seriously asking me that?"Ren pulled out a device for searching for surveillance equipment, and started walking around Maddy's room. The device didn't just detect surveillance equipment, it also emitted a small, electromagnetic pulse that disabled or destroyed them. Kasumi watched him get started, and looked at Matthias "Ren and I left our TADS in our rooms, but just to be safe,you might want to turn off yours, hopefully then we'll be able to speak freely" she suggested.

Maddy sat up and got out of her bed. Her limbs ached a little and cracked uncomfortable when she moved, but other than that she felt fine.
"Don't have to worry about me... I never received a TADS. Not sure if the microchip has surveillance capabilities though..."
Matthias shook his head.
"It doesn't. I made sure of that when I designed it."
He took out his TADS and shut it off.
"Normally I'm required to keep my TADS on at all times in case there's an emergency in the labs, but quite frankly I don't care anymore."
"So why did you come wake me? And why aren't I locked up?"
She stretched, flinching a little as her back cracked.
"Ehhhh... I hate working for you people..."
"I'm trying to figure out a way to remove the chip."

Finn makes his way to the main room and lays down on a couch. He whistles a cheery tune as he plays around with his TADS.

"Do you think that Devon might be able to help with that?" Kasumi suggested "Ren and I can get you there pretty easily. Ren created these crystals for our Kadabra's. They greatly enhance their psychic powers, and the distance they can teleport." Kasumi called out her Kadabra from it's Pokeball, and it wore a necklace with a shining crystal the size of a humans fist. Ren then called out his Own Kadabra, which also wore a giga-luminous crystal.

"You don't say?" She began to make her way out of the room.
Matthias blocked her path.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm not staying cramped up in this room forever if you're finally on my side. Besides, I don't sense anyone near us on this floor so we shouldn't be heard by anyone." She explained, leaving the room.
"Then again, you should've been able to sense that too, Matthias."
He didn't say anything to her but merely followed her out of the room. They were headed back to the common room.

Finn got off the couch and made his way into the kitchen where he could grab a coffee. After he grabs one he returns to the common room and sit back down on the couch. He heard Maddy and Matthias approach, but wasn't sure what to say. He was still bothered by the girl and her powers.

"And for what it's worth, we were never comfortable with you being held prisoner" Ren told Maddy "Kasumi and I spent most of our lives as prisoners and test subjects of Team Dim Sun in Almia." "Being in Team Aqua has protected us from Team Dim Sun, but...some things cannot be overlooked. We couldn't do anything by ourselves, though, so we just obeyed orders." Kasumi added.

As they entered the common room, Maddy spotted Finn sitting on the couch. She paused and stared at him for a second.
"He's the man from last night... The only face I remember from before all this happened..." She thought.
"Well, I need a coffee."
With that, Matthias went on ahead to the kitchen to make himself a coffee.
She snapped back to reality.
"I'm glad at least two people were against holding captives... Archie sure is going to desperate measures to get what he wants."
