It had been quite some time since he last cam here, but everything was still the same. Walking towards the tree, Divine sat down under its leaves and looked out at the vast and green landscape. She looked upward then and stared at the leaves.

She looked over at him and smiled slightly "I also said that I would be loyal to you no matter what on that one day... I aim to stick to it till the end."

Opening his eyes, Divine placed his hand on his chest. This was cause his soul to appear before him and Charlotte. His soul, which was a lot smaller than it should be. There were also cracks and wounds all over it. Overall, the soul looked like it had been beaten and scarred, as if it were going to break apart any minute. "Seeing this, anyone could tell that my time in this world is slowly wearing down. Ever since I lost my powers, I have felt that my soul was starting to fade away. After all, I was human then, which meant all the wounds, fatigue and pain, I had garnered over the years, all took their toll on my body and soul, greatly shortening my life." Divine told her. "After regaining my powers, I was able to momentarily stop the process, but now it is too late. I am going to die within the next few months." Divine then closed his eyes again, "So, until the very end, I will hold on to my dream." It seems that this is his true motivation for doing what he did. They were the actions of a dying-man. ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊

She looked up at the tree again "After that one day... I didn't really think I would find any loved ones or friends honestly. I really hated the world for what happened to me. I lost trust in most people and thought romance was just this stupid fantasy. I was mortified when Sera said she liked you because I thought she would end up going through what I did..." she explained, it was unknown why she was talking about this "Then after killing Kain... and seeing you like that... I began re-thinking a lot of my views. You are a lot different than anyone I have known. Sure you are stupid as all hell sometimes but you are a very amazing person for pulling through all these hardships you faced in life." she told him "With that, I will miss you... a lot. You have become someone I hold very dear to me. It will feel different not having you around." she said as she looked at the ground.

Despite wanting to be with her, he new that no matter what, the two were destined to be apart, he was regretting not being able to spend more time with her and Mirai. They were his world and he would truly miss them. Leaning over towards her, Divine placed his hand into hers and kissed her on the cheek, "Charlotte, lets just enjoy the time we do have with each other now." Divine then kissed her on the her lips, "I truly love you." Looking at her stomach, Divine sighed and then smiled, "So, have you decided on a name for him or her?" ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊

I am glad you are alright with the child having that name." she said "If she is a girl though I guess I'll name her Emelia... There now I am prepared either way." she said with another laugh. She was hoping for a boy though. Mirai was as well.

"This child may be human and witch, but he or she, will be stronger than you know." he told her, as he placed more of his power into her stomach. By now, Charlotte must have realized what Divine was doing. After all, each time he did this, his own power diminished, making him weaker. ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊
