Once at the library, Kiden nudged Tenmei's leg. She woke up with a start, looking around to realize she was still in the library and that it was just her griffin that woke her. She looked up at Sho from the chair she was in and tilted her head at Kiden. "Kiden? What is it?" The griffin nudged her hand, leaving a smudge from the ashes of the black rose. Tenmei knew exactly what it was and looked up at Sho. "A black rose?... You burned it, didn't you..."

"Yes..." Sho said calmly and brushing some ashes off his hand.

Tenmei sighed softly and shook her head. "It means death to you, doesn't it..." With another sigh, knowing that she was right, she closed the books that were still open on her lap and set them on the side table before getting to her feet. "I just don't understand why people who see the black rose automatically think it means death..."

"Think of the color black itself. That's the only reason you think of death, is it not? Black isn't the end of color, but it is what's created when all colors are brought together," Tenmei explained, crossing her arms. "It the most understanding of all colors when it comes to personality traits, and quite honestly, it's my favorite color... And one day, when my time comes, my final wish is to be laid down on a bed of black roses..." Then she shrugged and patted Kiden's head with a soft smile. "Well, sorry if Kiden was bothering you about it. I guess he just knows what I think of when it comes to black roses..."
((fyi - yes, that's why my username is BlackRose. [the 74L part means 7 for life cuz the number 7 is my fav number eva]. In truth, that is exactly how i think of the black rose and yes, my final wish is to be laid down on a bed of black roses when i die. well, technically its mostly black roses, but i want a few white and red ones too))

"well,it's just a flower i'm pretty sure it will grow back and no Kiden wasn't bothering me..." Sho said then walked over to one of the bookshelves and looking threw some of the books.
((i don't want to be laid on a bed of roses i want to be cremated.))

Tenmei nodded and walked over to Sho's side, peeking over his shoulder at the books he was looking at. "Well in any case, I never got to ask you about your nap. Feeling a bit better now? I'm surprised I slept for so long myself," she admitted with a small embarrassed laugh.
((i don't like the thought of my body being burned >< when I die, I wanna be set in the ground like the rest of my family))

"yes i feel better,what about you? when i came in here with Kidan i saw you sleeping in the chair over there.",Sho just flipped threw random books not really bothering to read them.
((i don't like the idea of worms and maggets crawling all over me then being dug up in a year 0.0 ....))

"Yeah, I'm alright. Guess I fell asleep after a bit of reading," Tenmei explained with a small nod. She hesitated for a moment before kissing him lightly on the cheek and snatching up one of the books he randomly looked through. "You should read this one. There's a nice section in here on different variations of fire magic. It can explain some new ways to use your ability."

She smiled and closed the book, handing it to him again. "Well you can read it now or we can head back to town. There's some things I need to pick up for this potion I'm working on. Would you like to come with or stay here and read?"
