 "What, you don't like bugs?" She chuckled, and was glad that the dude seemed open to conversation. "Jirachi, is it... I think that's possibly the worst that could happen. It tried to kill us, and we don't know if our group efforts would be enough to suppress it. It doesn't look like any other ways have presented themselves to us, however." She paused. "If Jirachi lies at the end of this tunnel, I'm hoping it has calmed down enough to be reasoned with." Potatobi walked beside the Espeon while listening to what the humans had to say. She spoke. She asked, if only to know how to behave when and if battle occurred.

Ren looked bak to see an unfamiliar face... Well, he shouldn't say that, he had seen him somwhere before... But they hadn't really had time to talk. He smiled a bit. " Yeah... I wish I had a nice pokeball to curl into into while I had someone walking around for me." He smiled, petting his Rattata. He frowned, wondering what Rattata would do when they leave.
He looked to his friend, Jack, " Is anything easy in this place?"

Snowbelle Thundara Cara nodded. "That's true." She then looked around and down at Dante. I think we need to scout ahead...see if this is a loop She thought to herself. Cara then bent down to her companion. "Hey Dante, you think you'd be willing to run ahead and check things out for us?" The Persian looked at Cara then 'up' the stairs and back at Cara and nodded. Cara grinned and gave him a kiss on his head. "Ok then buddy, be careful." Dante grinned, "Persian!" and sauntered off ahead of the group.800/1000 hp The same odd phenomena occurs with the persian - although it takes the cat a bit longer to reappear. Climbing takes a lot more time than flying afterall. The persian also looks quite confused by the turn of events

To everyone: Anise stared in surprise when her pokemon flew up behind her, having apparently gone straight the entire time. "I guess...this is some sort of loop?" She said, then raised her voice. "Hey everyone! It looks like the stairway is one big loop! My Swablu flew up and ended up meeting us from behind! We need to find some other way out of here!"

 Vincent 900 HP Mew and SnowAlexa nodded. "Yeah I suppose anything goes when a pokemon like Jirachi creates something." She was about to suggest going on ahead with Vincent when Anise sent her Swablu ahead. She was quite surprised when the Swablu appeared behind them. "Okay.... what is going on?!" When the same thing happened to the other girl's Persian Alexa frowned. "Maybe we need to send a person or a person and a pokemon." Pokemon not in use: Apolla 300 HP Archie 300 HP

"Yes... no..." Ice JAck replied, sighing. He kept his zubat on his head as he looked back to the person talking to Ren. He shrugged and took a few more steps.

Tygress was about to send Peanut to scout as well when the swablu was suddenly back behind you. "Here we go again," Tyg sighed.

Cara looked on shocked. "What the?! How'd he get back here?" Cara stared at the confused Persian. "Ok...now I've seen everything." She said, shaking her head. Dante looked up at her and back at the way he came, a slightly freaked expression on his face. Suddenly something came to her. "Maybe we're in another dream or a trap some other pokemon of the mansion created, like a mismagius...a haunter or some other ghost type made. I've heard stories of how certain ghost types like to play pranks on unsuspecting humans...course dark types like to also."

 "Not of giant ones who try to kill me, no." He grinned. "Did you meet the Volcarona that was in that hallway? I hear it knocked out several trainers' Pokemon before someone finally captured it. "As for Jirachi... True, it seems dangerous. But, right, it does seem the best chance of stopping whatever's happening here. And it seemed so... sad, and lonely. I feel like we should try to help it." Ariel greeted the mushroomoid Pokemon politely.

Ren groaned a bit as he continued walking, his legs getting warn out a bit. " I do wish we could just there... I'm getting tired of all this." Ren grumbled, petting his Rattata.

 Kurai was startled in turn by each Pokemon coming up behind her when it had gone up...not down. She leaned against the wall to catch her breath...and give her legs a break. Maybe...maybe stopping for a little would help. This...seemed hopeless. If this was one big loop...

Hmm, well, the stairs do indeed seem to go into a loop. But the real question is: what is causing this loop? And how will you get out of it?

 Duo frowned...then blinked. "Hey! Maybe there's something along the walls that might help? Like...a trap door or something? Or maybe there's some sort of warp technology in use on the stairs?" The old Rocket HQ had been FULL of traps and dead ends...maybe this place was no different?

Anise noticed that the same thing that happened with Halcyon had happened with the other trainer's Persian. "You too, huh? So it's not like this is an isolated incident. We need to figure out a way to stop this." She tried thumping a fist along the way as she went, listening for a change in sound in case it indicated a secret passage.

"No, I... didn't." Lore replied, arching a brow. "I and two others did, however, find a Joltik trapped in a steel box. It must not have been in there for long, as it was not starved to death. ...Those people need a pokécenter." And she made an ironic smile when the blonde mentioned feeling sorry for the Jirachi. "You and many others. But many people suffer in this world, and the Jirachi is taking it out on innocents. It needs to take responsibility before it deserves sympathy. " Well, she said it as she wanted to hear it, but it's not that she felt nothing for the legendary. It's just that she put those feelings aside for later. "Yeah, sorry about that. My name is Lore, by the way." Potatobi nodded at the Espeon. she said, in Donut's invisible direction.
