When the Nincada looked in Genn's direction after landing however, she'd find the stone body behemoth was gone. One had to wonder how something so impossibly large could simply disappear...until the ground began to shake beneath her feet. Yes, the Onix had spent a large amount of time in an endless network of caverns, and so had grown quite adept at simply burrowing from place to place...though admittedly he was not yet so skillful for it to qualify as an attack. He still needed to surface and see his opponent to strike. Still, it left him with a significantly stronger foothold in this place. There would be no falling for this Pokemon.
Rocks flew as the Onix violently burst from the ground, his head plowing forward the moment he laid eyes upon the Nincada. Given his size, he'd need less then half his body to successfully crush her with Tackle!

((You ask do I think you are the cave murder? Why should I have to ask such a thing ..you have a human, and you are a pokemon? I need no other evidences of your guilt.))
She declares after the cut ...she had simply slashed downwards for this, so she was still facing her opponent as the Nidoran went for a peck. Though she saw the opening there ....in her haste she had already thrown up her defense and was unable to shift it back and away .....as she brought her blade arm upwards and literally used it to block the incoming peck with steel as a threat if the pokemon did choose to close her mouth on her arm she would get a nasty surprise ...when next she attacked.

((Jasmine gains 15 gold))
The Noose would catch as the Vullaby suddenly distracted by it would fail to move out of the way of the pay day. The coins hitting, but it wasn't hard enough to send her over the edge especially considering that she had been charging forward earlier and had been stopped due to the the cat's counter-attack. The Vullaby shivered lightly as she let the coins drop to the ground ...more to add to the pile as she seemed to be getting just a bit anger at this point over her own treatment. She wanted to tear this cat to pieces, but now she could see that the pokemon wasn't alone in this battle. The girl was helping too ...two against one, but if she struck powerfully and true ...this would end quickly and the girl would be defenseless on this island.
The through of food was slipping away with each new injury as she turned her attention towards other things. Like winning this fight, as the cat seemed to be enraged by being called a pet.
That was something that the Vullaby could latch her beak on as she clack them once before flapping her wings hard. If the plan had been to sweep her off the side of the rock she was now going to try and sweep the cat that way ...as she aimed her gust at her. Her wings beating more and more powerfully as she calls out.
(You don't like being called a pet, but what do you call an pokemon that doesn't worry about it's own ability to eat? That think that it's just a conventional goal or even whom stands in the way of such an easy meal. Its a human's way of thinking, because, I am sure when she took you from the wild ...you weren't at full strength. That she found someway to catch you when you weren't aware, so tell me, how is that any different then now ...other than my life and death being on the line.)
She declares trying to distract with words as the wing grew stronger and stronger and the threat of her gust turned from being a gentle breeze to a whipping vortex charging straight at the cat.

Aella Emolga [F] Lv 3 Nature: Rash Stats: HP:17/17/PP:21/ATK:10/DEF:9/SPD:12/SP-ATK:11/SP-DEF:8 MOVES: - Air Slash - Charm EXP: 24/200 It all ended in a just a few moments as Victoria was smiling with delight. The pokemon in it's anger had evolved, in rage he had changed to the girl's delight as she clap her hands together. She had no idea how close she had come to the fully evolved pokemon charging at her, but it didn't matter in her eyes. This was a pokemon's whose heart beat with the same melody as her own. A kindred spirit, though she was the cause of that kinship she cared little about that.
The evolution only cemented her further on her path ....a promise that if she continued in rage she could evolve and grow. No, she wanted this pokemon alive, and had just started to unclip a pokeball when the Nidorino charged. The girl had taken her eyes of him in that moment, but Aella hadn't.
She had felt a chill of pure fear, she had known somehow instinctually as she watches the light intensify that they had only narrowly missed fighting a match she couldn't win. That if the pokemon's concentration hadn't been lost to Victoria's moment of joy ...things would have been completely different. But now, they sat on the same level, and thus meant that she needed to end this quickly.
Put this pokemon down, because, if Victoria managed to capture it ...she is sure that the Nidorino would only spend his time looking for ways to kill her trainer. THe girl would have an enemy in her own midst and be completely unaware of it. Though, this was also against Victoria's wishes, and maybe, if there was a pokemon with the same kind of rage in him as her ..maybe she would see it and become disgusted.
There was two ways this could turn out, and though she knew this needed to be ended quickly. She had to be sure, she needed to see if this pokemon was as consumed as she thought. If there was no chances to make an ally out of this pokemon, because if there was not, there was no way she would allow him to join her team.
She couldn't allow it, and thus as the pokemon charged she jumped free of the girl's head to land in front with her arms thrown wide. Her ears went down as her eyes grew big ....so big that the deep blackness in her eyes seemed to out do anything else. She was literally trying to charm him ....to make him drop his anger and rage and stop the attack.

::The Vullaby was caught!::
::Well... not exactly in the conventional sense, but now the Vullaby had a weight pulling her down, the question didn't seem to stop her from getting enough wind to form a Gust it seemed, but now as she counter-attacked... that left her wide open to both Claudandas AND Jasmine!::
::The girl grabbed an extra end of her 'rope' and suddenly, pulled to bring the bird down earthward, looking to smack her into the rock to try and stop her attack in its tracks as well as whatever damage the impact could cause!::
::As for Claudandas... he smirked... it would be hard to keep going if the bird kept up a smart game... but this was where they had to play smart as well now::
::The cat chuckled, he knew that now was where they needed to play brains against the bird, as well as strength, it wouldn't go into the water, not without a proper fight, not one move he could make just now, but he could try and weaken it... ready it...::
[Trust me when I say it... we got food worries of our own...]
[Maybe... just maybe...]
[You'd feel like donating your wings to feed my starving belly and my trainer's also?!] ::He Growled, it was hard to say how genuine he was with that claim, perhaps that was the reason why the attack would sound so effective::
[How does that sound?!]
((Roll 1, Jasmine's take down, Roll 2, Growl))
((Yay! ...Um... me? =o ))

(8-1) + (7-7) = 7 DMG Elizabeth struck harder than she thought, smiling with satisfaction as she saw the strike land and cause some damage. Surely she could win this fight pretty easily...?"Back off a bit Elizabeth! Don't let her catch you!" Rita called, knowing it wasn't a good idea for the nidoran to stay where she was when the pawniard's attack came.Elizabeth bounced back, standing in the defensive and frowning towards her opponent. Hp: 10/14 [What's the capture Roll for her?] [8/10]

((17 - 14 + 8 - 11 = 0dmg))
But, the Onix would learn something quite interesting. Even though the attack would hit ...the Nincada wasn't easily run over. Her small body would be forced backwards by the gust of wind created by his movement as she was buffet by it instead of the powerful hit that she should have felt. Her body tumbling a few times before she comes to a stop and she smiles as she comes to a complete stop.
No, the onix would have to try much harder to put her down ...as she came forward again. A rush of movement as she went for another scratch against his hard hide. This was a battle that it would seem would be hard to win ...for both parties.
((Sorry, I hope it makes sense, but I got to go to school)

[Nidorino ATK: 9/11]
Surprisingly enough the Nidorino slid to a halt, gravel flying about the area as his hindquarters dragged across the ground. His nostrils flared, and he snorted a single breath upon the Emolga, heated by his anger. His eyes narrowed at the Emolga ">Get out of the way rat. This is between me and that bloody soaked b----!<" The Nidorino barked at the little electric squirrel; it would seem his vocabulary had also....broadened with his rage. Normally such words left a foulness in his mouth, but this time it seemed...appropriate.
His eyes narrowed further till he was Leer-ing at Aella ">MOVE! Or else I'll run you through too!!!<" He roared, ears flattening slightly as his gaze began to intensify. The Charm had succeeded in weakening his resolve to harm the Emolga, and now it seemed he was trying to frighten her out of being able to defend!

Genn pulled back his massive head, spraying rocks over the side of the crater and into the depths below. So, he had missed, and at the same time had not. It was an odd thing. Still, the insect was hardly a worthy opponent. All she did was prolong the inevitable. Her claws would never touch him, at least not the way she wanted.
The Onix lifted his head higher and inhaled deeply. In the next instant Genn's massive body thrust forward in the direction of the Nincada, not in a tackle, but rather in another defense which took full advantage of the difference in size. Opening his rocky jaws, the Onix began a bellowing roar. If the wind current created simply be an impact could knock the buy away, then one could only wonder what a more focused blast of air from Genn's own lungs would do!

The bird's gust would miss as she was forced to the ground as the noose was pulled and she simply lost her balance. She hadn't been trying to fly, her kind are too heavy for such a chore until she managed to crack the shell from her behind. No, her attack had been aimed at sweeping only her opponent away. Her attack failed, and her gust missed the cat with what would have been a blow that would have ended their fight immediately. She rose slowly as she glares daggers at him .....this was a match that would end in his death if not for the trainer's intervention.
She flapped her wings a few time to test them as she would one more hunker down on the defensive end. Attack, attack, and attack again ...it would wear her enemy down to continue in such a pattern. All she had to do was wait him out, and that is what he would do.
Claudandas loses 2 hp due to exhaustion.

((I thought that was Claudandas' attack turn there and you countered <_< ))
((Also blah my misreading))
::The cat let out a hiss of relief, that was indeed too close... but now, he and Jasmine had to work together... he nodded at the girl... Jasmine nodded back...::
::And the girl yanked good and hard at her rope, looking to wind the Vullaby in, wind that noose round it further and further to tie those wings down!::
::No wings, no gust, no steel wing!::
::And behind her, Claudandas leapt to action, sending coin upon coin of his Pay Day, indeed this was wearing on, but they needed to use this moment of rest to seal it while they could!::
::If he couldn't finish the bird, then they could make sure it couldn't fight back!::
((Roll 1, Jasmine's 'Bind', Roll 2, Pay Day))

(+1 to Elizabeth's defensive, and sorry to tell you but Pawniard has a resistance to your pokemon's attack. 7/2 = 3.5 round to 4 dmg.))
She would take the hit ...as she slips backwards a bit. Though she had been planning this as well as she smirks as the area where Elizabeth had grabbed onto would actually find itself extended into a blade not long after her release. A blade like a shark's fin that cut through her arm from out of nowhere to try and pierce through the pokemon's brain ...if she had only held on for a moment more.
A psychic blade that vanishes not long after the pokemon had gotten a safe distances. Her attack had failed, but she would try again and soon.

It would be merciless as the winds would blow the bug high into the air. The attack she had been aiming would fail as she flips three times as she was actually almost sent all the way upwards towards the top of the crater. It was her own quick thinking and a single claw that caught the side of the wall that stopped her. She would hand there upside down until the Onix's roar would end.
It had almost been enough to send her away, but she wasn't ready yet as she allowed herself to drop. Her legs spread wide as she lands right back where she had been blown. This was a battle that was starting to look like a never ending match.
One in which, she would have no chances of winning or escaping and she wasn't sure how she liked it.

Aella dropped the big eyes and innocent look as she glares back at the Nidoran. She wasn't going to move a muscle.
((Killing my trainer won't bring back your mate, and if you continue to pulse with hatred ...you won' t be able to do a thing about my trainer anyway. I might as well make this clear, you aren't going to like what happens next, but she is going to capture you. The decision you make after that will effect everything you do ...everything you will be so you better listen up.
After capture she will call you back out, if you charge her ...she will recall you again. And she will continue to do it, until you understand your place. I am telling you now if you are wise you will simply submit.
And try to help me stop what she is doing.
Help me to stop her from hurting other pokemon....like your mate. That will be your revenge otherwise, you might find yourself killing other pokemon.))
Aella declares as she tries to make him understand his plight.
((She isn't a bad trainer, nor a bad person, but her way of handling things tend to go towards the extreme))
Her words soft, calming, she was once more trying to charm the pokemon. Trying to convince him of the folly of his own way and words as she tries to counter his leer with her words and her charm.
