Alkaid was momentarily distracted as she saw the General she was supposed to be helping.. go flying overhead. She didn't see Euterpe land, she didn't see him get back to his feet, and she only saw his attack.. when it was far too late. That's what she got for trying to be concerned about others.
With a groan, she was hit in the knees and knocked backward on the ground. Her head rebounded on the grass beneath her, sending her 'slightly annoying' headache right up to 'searing pain' level. Stars danced behind her eyelids and she brought a hand up to hold her head, as if it might explode otherwise.
"Jerk," she breathed out through gasping breaths, trying to kick her legs up or buck her body or anything just to throw him off of her. She couldn't see and she sure as hell wasn't about to open her eyes and subject her head to the light of day.

Standing in a sink hole created by his own attack, bleeding from an injured nose, the skin split over the bridge, Chaonis was no longer in a good mood. That didn't mean he wasn't still having his own brand of fun. He just wasn't messing around.
He still found the fight challenging and, because of that, intense. Fun.
Chaonis watched the other, finding they were stuck in a stand off, both trying to figure out what their next move was. He did not want to let Labyrinthite get another good hit in.
He didn't want to let him get away, either.
So the Senshi of Danger charged forward, slamming his fist forward, aiming for the nega's upper chest, with every ounce of strength he could throw into it.

His made his eyes flick towards the source. Just in time to see something flung his way. Feet jerked to prevent it from making contact but as soon at the projectile hit the ground, smoke filled the air. He'd lost sight of her. In fact he was now lost in a cloud of smoke, one hand over his wound, another holding the half bloody tie over his nose and mouth.

When Neso face-planted on top of Orion, it definitely took Uranophane by surprise -- but then when she realized the opportunity that was in front of her, she couldn't help but let her grin brighten again. Two for the price of one. One of these senshi was weakened, and the other one was... incredibly stupid. It was in the bag.
"So glad you could drop in," she said to Neso. Then her gloved hands gripped firmly on the hair of either senshi, and, apparently holding a craving for some slapstick, she banged both of their heads together.

Neso's eyes were squeezed shut when he charged at the ball. He didn't see anything, just felt the solidity of the shield as he crashed into it, and then the rush of wind as it sailed into the air, away from the Negas that had set upon it. Then there was the distinct slam of hitting another body.
Only then did Neso open his eyes to find himself nose-to-nose with another senshi. "I did it," he said, surprise in his voice. "Chronos is safe now."
There was little time to feel joy over his tiny victory. A hand wrenched itself in Neso's hair and then smashed his head into Orion's. The Senshi of Summer saw stars, rolling off of the other senshi, his hands gripping his forehead. His body came to rest at Uranophane's feet. Sort of like a present.
Neso only groaned.

Orion was not having a good day. Firs ta giant ball was on him, and then Neso and now there was a hand clenching in his hair. While he usually enjoyed some hair pulling, it unfortunately wasn't that kind of hair pulling. Especially since it ended with his head being bashed into Neso's. "Oh goddd," He groaned, hanging limp from Uranophane's hand by his hair.

"Sorry," Europa said lamely to Themis as she wiped her mouth on her glove. She gazed towards the battle, felt dizzy, then covered her eyes with her hands and leaned against her "big brother."
"I'm sorry," she repeated. "I'm just going to... rest my eyes for a bit."
Europa was quiet for a while, eyes clenched shut and a look of great concentration pasted to her face. A few moments of silence passed, after which she muttered, weakly, "Thinking hurts. Why does thinking hurt?"

The string connecting the kites to Laurelite's hands would prove to be more difficult to break than simply burning it off. Which, in retrospect, wasn't very surprising. The highest-ranking Negaversers always had the better weapons. Leopard's Eye might not have known this at that moment, but there were enough people in the field who did that he wouldn't be so ignorant about that fact after today.
Flames licked at the edge of Laurelite's hand, making some of the skin jump of in angry welts and some of her sleeve to singe. However, she did not budge, did not even seem to notice, and only continued attempting to push her way forward when the guardian fixed the kite into his hands. They were at a bit of a standstill, with Leopard so stubborn that he was allowing his hands to be mutilated in order to keep his ground.
Laurelite attempted to fix this by simply twisting her wrist -- and twisting the bladed kite along with it.

Goggles and mask were shoved into place, and then he was in for the kill, the smoke stung, it smelled horrid but it wasn't burning his eyes or choking him like it would have had be not been equipped for his own weaponry. He found castor in the haze and drilled a fist forward aiming for just to the left of the Senshi's spine. "I thought you senshi were supposed to be the 'honorable ones' he growled. "Seems like you had other intentions, maybe we should just remove that dishonorable heart of yours."

This battle was..insane. Insane and there was NOT much she could do about it. Only assist where she was needed.
Tail had since been stepped on after she bolted Laurelite and left Leopard Eye to deal with the aftermath. She was irritated from that, and from whyat she was seeing infront of her. Chloe remembered Uranophane, the b***h tried to capture her ONCE. She managed to get away while merope distracted her...
This time, Chloe was not allowing the captain to prey on yet more people. So... Grabbing a leaping start, she launched herself at the Negaverser... and clamped her jaws on her wrist. There was fabric in the way, but hopefully cat teeth and now claws, were enough to get through.
She still needed time to charge her forehead beam.

Ares' supprt was always reassuring. Scylla likes having that warm, familiar figure at her back, someone she could rely on and trust in combat. And then Ares was gone, running after Tanzanite, towards the powerful lady who choked little children, and Castor was screaming at her, and Scylla dropped the other Eternal senshi like a hot potato. Albali was still in the air, and Scylla mentally apologized to her teammate. I'm sorry, Albali! She flung herself off, leaving Castor and the two other senshi to deal with Linarite.
Ares was fast, and Scylla was still sore, and her use of her limbs was draining. She still had some juice in her, but she had to be careful... so careful... she hadn't been. She'd been all brute strength and no finesse, but from a distance, it looked like the purple-haired general wasn't moving. It also looked like she hadn't hit the other woman. Too bad.
Ares had gotten to Tanzanite already, and was lifting her head back. Oh lord, Ares was going to kill her. She was going to weatch someone die, and everything that was Jada inside of Scylla rebelled violently, wanting to scream to stop, stop, there had to be some other way. Everything that was Scylla knew better. Knew it had to happen. She had to die. This woman was an animal, a killer, and if they didn't kill her, she would kill others. She would destroy lives. She would... watch Ares stumble forwards, as Laurelite intervened. Her blood froze, her lips lifting back from her teeth in a snarl. The woman was powerful, incredibly so. She was one of the hot-spots on the field, it seemed. Scylla could back Ares up for a while, but they needed more of the members of their Court to stand a chance in this.
It was insulting to see the woman ignore Ares so. Not necessarily surprising, Scylla would later admit grudgingly (never, EVER to Ares) but there were precious few on the field with the same casual power as this woman's aura gave off. She saw the purple-haired woman move at Ares, and instinct sent a tentacle flying at her Captain, dragging her into the air and out of reach of the woman and her arm. "I'm just sorry I temporarily disabled your senses." she muttered, watching the General start to run off again. "I'll work on a permanent fix for that!"
But not now-- Ares was making a gesture that Scylla recognized. She paused, almost shaking with rage as the General ran off, waiting for orders.

Ares tumbled from the tentacle as she neared Scylla, collapsing over one of her feet. Oh well, it was a testament the Senshi of the Kraken's control that she had managed that maneuver at all. "Invaluable as ever," she said quickly, crawling to her feet. "You'll need the strength." Laurelite continued to tango with the strange leopard-man. Ares saw an opportunity.
"Rip her in half," she whispered, narrowing her eyes at the General Queen Laurelite. The only way to learn about an enemy was to run tests. Ares had never met a General Queen before.
So it was test time.
For her part, she tried to rouse Albali. "Albali, if you can control it, fire your tentacles after the female General Queen!" Where had Gunn gone? She had seen Euterpe and Requiem a moment ago. No doubt they were in the thick of it. Ares did not fear for the senshi of the Blood Moon. She believed in them, believed that they would rely on their skills to taste victory that day.
It was the same victory she was hoping to taste now.

"AAAAAAUGGGGH!"
There was a cat on her arm. There were cat teeth in her arm. Chloe's bite was deceptively powerful, and had enough power behind it that it cut straight through Uranophane's gloves and pierced the skin of her ******** an attempt to shake the damn cat off she flailed her arm around, her other hand busy holding down Orion so he wouldn't escape.
"I'll bring the Queen your head on a platter, you ******** feline!"

He knew this attack. He fought with Regulus before. Met him twice even. There was still a faint scar on his legs from when he felt those fiery claws dig into his flesh, and he was witnessing a repeat. It now snapped into place what sort of skill she had, and he grimaced as hot flames threw his blade out of his hands and another dug deep into his chest. His uniform turned blacker and started to catch fire from the heat but found it hard with his clothes already soaked, and the claws dug and tore at the fabric. Unlike the General-Queen, he winced with the pain of the fire, and reached out to deliver both pain and salvation. This close was dangerous. She could do any amount of damage, and he wanted her off.
With one hand, he reached up and went for her throat, wanting to push her back, while the other went for something even more vulnerable. A senshi should never get in arm's reach of a Negaverser, and as his hand sank into her chest, Birhan would know why. He reached around blinding before he felt the shimmering warmth of her starseed, and he gripped it tightly in his hand, squeezing with all his might.
As he grimaced, teeth clenched, his eyepatch loosened. The cut to his cheek had also torn the small side of the eye patch without his notice, and as it slipped, a large, black eye was show. Pure black.

Orion's silver eyes widened as the guardian cat came to his rescue. He hadn't met any cats other than Derp, so he was slightly surprised to see another one. He wasn't complaining though, help was help and if the cat could keep his starseed in his chest she'd be his best friend. "Get her, cat!" He struggled against Uranophane, but it wasn't much of a struggle. His ribs were still hurting him.
