Lurker felt the shockwave of the explosive within Cody impact him. He flew backwards, as the fire inflicted additional damage. He laid dazed on the ground, looking at the clearing, charred and burning. He got onto his hands and knees slowly, attempting to access the damage. His entire body was scorched, but that was a minor injury, a week to repair. His lungs were collapsed, it would be uncomfortable, but it wouldn't kill him. One of his legs was shredded, that was pretty serious, and he could feel slight brain trauma. He was a mess, down for at least a month, even with his cells working at an enhanced rate. He looked at the busted tracker, then dropped it, worthless now. He limped towards the safehouse, at a gruelingly slow pace.

He reached up to his chest, then realize it was worse than he thought. His entire torso was in shreds, he could see his organs, alien in their appearance compared to human organs. Smoke was pouring out of his chest cavity, a very bad sign. His heart had been severely injured, as were his veins. Instead of the smoggy blood staying withing his body, it was seeping out, and he would be dead it he didn't get everything patched up. He put his hand over his chest, limping towards the safehouse, just in view now. He fell to his knees, the blood not circulating significantly enough to let him use his legs. He fell to the ground, seeing the building just a hundred feet ahead of him. He yelled out, nothing in specific, just something to try to get attention, then blacked out...

Rusty stopped, ears flipping backward. He whined and turned. Tsuki looked back and saw the wolf start to run back. She heard a scream and followed. When she reached the wolf, there was smoke everywhere. Rusty had the back of Lurker's jacket in his teeth, and was dragging him. Tsuki paused, stuck in a state of disbelief. She stared at what had once been Lurker's chest. She'd never seen anything like it. The organs were so foreign, she almost wanted to leave him. But he's going to help us.. He has helped us.. Tsuki snapped herself out of the trance and grabbed one arm, pulling him over her shoulder. She glanced at what she assumed was his heart. It didn't look like it was beating. "Sh*t..." She set Lurker on the ground and tried to get around the smoke coming from him. What the hell is he..? She rummaged through her bag, searching for and finding a small black box. She pulled it out and popped it open, uncapping a clear syringe. She set it on the ground. Then she pulled out a roll of thick gauze. Tsuki quickly wrapped Lurker's chest as much as possible. Then she grabbed the needle and stuck it through the gauze and into his heart. She looked at Lurker. "Whatever you are.. This adrenaline should help.." Then she picked him up and walked the rest of the way to the safehouse. Rusty picked up the bag and followed. She shut the door and set Lurker down. Kneeling next to him, she finished wrapping up his chest and his limbs. Normally, she would've stripped him to ensure all the wounds were covered, but in this instance she decided it best not to. There's no way he's walking away from this.. I don't care what he is.. She looked at Rusty and the wolf sat next to her, nuzzling her hand. "I guess we have no choice now.. We'll have to use it, won't we Brother?" She kissed the wolf's head and looked to Terrance. "I didn't see anything else. I think we'll be okay."

Chip looked up at the man "No problem man" then he looked over at Zera cleaning her guns. "Do you want some help with that i'm really good with guns oh by the way i can't thank you enough for getting my back earlier so if you don't mind I will be tagging along with you to help."

"I hope so." She looked at the unconscious creature. She couldn't decide whether to tell him or not. Rusty groaned, resting his head on Lurker's arm. The wolf sniffed him and closed his eyes. Tsuki watched, then turned to Terrance. Should I..? "He's... He's got bad damage to his heart. I think I've stopped the bleeding. And I injected some adrenaline to, hopefully, increase the healing process. He'll be laid up for at least a few weeks though."

Zera nodded at Jericho in understanding then continued on her weapons and said to Chip without looking up,"No, it's alright just help Jericho with the controls." then she glanced at her sister to see if there was any sign of her waking up. When there was none Zera turned back to cleaning her weapons.

Terrance watched her and said, "use it it's worth a try." He closed his eyes and leaned back against the wall.

Terrance stood up and walked over to her and then sat down. "By the way I didn't know what it is I just went with the hunches as I saw then," he told her, "now what did you want to say."
