"Right....big girl pants...." He glanced down at her legs that looked like they were struggling to keep her upright. "I think your big girl pants might be telling you to sit down before you fall. Where are you planning to go anyway?" Shifting the drinks into one arm he reached out for her arm to help steady her.
"I wasn't sure what you wanted to drink so I grabbed a couple of things." He said looking to the drinks. "I figured if I brought back multiple items at least one would be right."
Why was everyone telling her to focus on herself? She didn't want to focus on her pain or what had happened to her. Thinking about someone or something else would be a much needed distraction in her mind. And to make matters worse Desmond just had to ask who had done this to her. She wanted to tell him...but she was afraid it would only make it worse. In her experience telling on a bully only made the bully or the bully's friends mad. So in return they thought of something even worse to do the next time as pay back for getting them in trouble.....and Mitsu didn't want to know what would be worse than this. The thought frightened her into silence as she looked at Desmond with sad eyes.
"I'm ok," She said softly. "I just...." Everyone seemed to be expectantly waiting an answer, even Shun....what should she tell them? "I...wasn't watching where I was going." She quickly diverted her gaze, unable to look at any of them. There was nothing gained from lying, she hated doing it.....but she was scared and that fear was starting to show on her face.

"I wanted to see Mitsu..." Riyo admitted reluctantly and finally sat her butt down. Looking up at the drinks, she reached for the soda and pulled back. "Thanks for getting me something." she said with a soft smile and tried to open the tab. Tried being the key word. "W-what the..." Her eyes narrowed on the can, face turning red from embarrassment. "I've never felt so pathetic in all my life." She mumbled, sitting the can down on the table and laying down on the bed to sulk.
Desmond almost immediately covered his forehead with his palm at her answer. Did she think he was stupid or something? Honestly... He couldn't even think of anything to say to her...
"Yeah. And I'm the king of England." Atticus retorted, shaking his head. "Mitsu. Somebody beat you to the point that if left in the elements, you could've DIED. That's a criminal offense. Older people would go to jail for something like that. Do you want them to do that to somebody else?" Atticus was pretty good at the guilt card.

Shun had to restrain himself from crying out 'bullshit!' to that answer. Narrowing his eyes, he looked as if he was about to speak up about that but Atticus had beaten him to the punch. Why the hell would she be hiding who had done it? Closing his eyes, he tried to think it through. There were a few different reasons why it may be the case. Perhaps it was someone she knew and didn't want them in trouble, but that seemed extremely unlikely. But then it hit him. He recalled once or twice where a witness or victim had been afraid to speak up against his father or his lackeys since they didn't want to end up dead. That seemed more of a likely scenario here... though to a lesser extreme.
"Don't be afraid of them," he practically growled, possibly suggesting he'd do something to prevent further incidents. Perhaps Desmond was on the same boat there, and perhaps even Riyo too for that matter since she seemed to be able to handle herself... for the most part, but he wouldn't speak for them.
Blade relaxed a bit as she sat back down. No risk of her falling over there. Though, he couldn't help but feel bad for her as she seemed to be having some trouble popping the can open. His dark red eyes shifted from her, to the can, to Klyde before looking at the can once again, not sure if opening it would only end up offending her.
Picking up the can, he examined it for a moment or so before picking at the tab, seeming to struggle with it. Frowning, he managed to get the tab off... and barely opened the can.
"Well no wonder... damn thing must be defective..." he mumbled while staring at the tab, then setting down the can. It seemed a bit of dexterity could be used for more than just picking locks and pockets.

Mitsu frowned at the sarcasm, those half-lidded mulberry eyes looking suddenly glassy. She shook her head but she still couldn't bring herself to speak. There was no way she could ever wish this on someone else, but was she willing to take the beatings instead? When Shun spoke up and told her not to be afraid, picking at the problem without her saying a word, she began to tear up. "B...but I am afraid. I...I'm terrified." She stammered trying to hold back her tears. "It's not going to stop. Someone will always be there."
Pulling the blankets over her head as the first few tears began to fall she tried to keep from sobbing, because it was embarrassing and she was sure it would still hurt despite the pain medication. "I...if I tell you, they will find out." She mumbled. "It will be worse the next time....." They might actually break her hands like they had promised to do this time on top of beating her nearly to death.
Klyde watched Riyo try to open the can to only give up shortly after unable to get it open. He was about to grab it and open it for her but Blade stepped up before him and opened it himself, spouting some stupid nonsense about it being defective. Eyes twitching slightly feeling that Blade was stepping in on his territory a bit, Klyde set the rest of the drinks down with a bit of a thud on the counter. "Thanks, appreciate the help." He said with a bit of irritation, his narrowed eyes focused on Blade.

Atticus looked a little perplexed at her answer. What, was there a high school mafia going on behind the teacher's backs? As Mitsu started crying, the doctor immediately backed off. Though, it was still frustrating. If somebody was causing trouble for the students and making his job harder, he wanted to find them and hopefully get them expelled.
Desmond frowned as he saw her eyes glaze over. She was right. The Hive, and he was sure it was The Hive, always came back to take vengeance on snitches. Moreover, as much as he wanted to... He couldn't be around every waking moment. Neither could Shun or Riyo. It was a hopeless situation. "I'm sorry Mitsu... I didn't mean to upset you..." He sighed, glancing away. "Please don't cry. We can talk about something else..." He could promise to protect her all he wanted... It wouldn't change the fact that he had the potential to hurt her the most.
Eyes narrowing as Blade picked up the can, she tried to hold back her desire to kick him in the shin for practically mocking her. She wasn't some child who was easily fooled. "Nice try. That might've worked when I was 7." Was the most polite thing she could think of saying before she rolled over, her back to both of them. Screw the drink.

Frowning, Shun let out a huff as he was getting frustrated here. She had a point but damn it irritated him that nothing could really be done. It seemed the only way to go about this was to try and find out by some other means. Maybe there was someone else that had some sort of insight around here.
Hands back into his pockets, he grumbled something inaudible under his breath.
Well it turned out Blade ended up offending her anyway. With a sigh, he rubbed the back of his neck and went back to leaning against the wall, glancing out the window.

It seemed, since they weren't hounding her for information, that they were going to back off the issue. Slowly Mitsu pulled the covers back down, her teary eyes focused at the bottom of the bed. It was then that she noticed something that had managed to escape her attention until now. "Ludwig?" He had been with her things....hadn't he? "I..Is my bag here too?" If it was she could change...and not feel so awkward.
Klyde would have laughed if he didn't feel he was getting the cold shoulder as well. Was he being lumped in with this guy? Great....just great. He was just going to have to add Blade on the list just below Neko.
"Hey," He tried to swallow his anger for the moment while he spoke to Riyo, reaching out to touch her shoulder. "You'll be back to yourself in no time. Try not to let a temporary problem bother you. Do you want me to get you something else?" Suddenly that perverted smile showed through. "I can let you drink the soda from my mouth if you like."

Desmond blinked at her sudden realization, taking a moment to realize that he had indeed brought her stuff in. "Oh, yes." His hands reached down to pick her backpack up off the floor, sitting it next to her on the bed. "I grabbed it while you were unconscious."
Riyo couldn't imagine Klyde knew how it felt to be helpless after learning how to rely on yourself alone. He was a vampire, after all, and has demonstrated earlier could even take down a bear if need be. "No thanks." She said quickly to his first question, looking over her shoulder with a glare at his less than decent suggestion. "Eww, keep your boy cooties to yourself." her eyes rolled as she spoke. If they were going to treat her like a child, might as well talk like one.

Keeping his gaze out the window for now, Blade hadn't looked back in until he heard Klyde's second question. Really? Shaking his head to himself, he was rather glad she declined... that wasn't really something he wanted to see anyone do.
Thinking over a few things, he pushed himself away from the wall lightly and started for the door. Quite frankly he wasn't really do anyone any good there and things just felt more and more awkward for him, so he figured he should just leave. Pausing briefly as he passed up the bed, he glanced at the two girls to speak up, "Feel better you two."

For a moment Mitsu had contemplated reaching for her bag, but she wasn't about to expose herself. Turning to Blade as he told her to get better she gave a small nod. "I'll be fine...thank you, Blade." He seemed to be really concerned for Riyo, the way he kept looking at her. It made Mitsu wonder if they were friends. Riyo never mentioned him but she wasn't very talkative.
Turning back to Desmond, Shun and Bent, Mitsu glanced briefly at her bag. "D...do you mind...leaving for a couple of minutes....so I can change?"
"Wha...cooties? I didn't hear any complaints earlier." Klyde glanced up momentarily as Blade started to move to take his leave. About time, he couldn't help but feel a little annoyed with him there.

Desmond only paid blade a passing glance as the boy left, not really minding either way since he hadn't caught the conflict between him and Klyde.
"Oh, uh. Y-yes." Desmond faltered and stood to move towards the door, only glancing one more time before exiting the room.
Riyo raised her hand and waved to Blade as he left, not wanting to completely ignore him leaving. Yeah. His comment had been sorta obnoxious... But in retrospect he hadn't done it to spite her.
Her blush showed as Klyde brought up 'earlier'. "T-that was before everybody started treating me like a child." She said simply, reaching to take the pillow from under her head and wrap her arms around it. Lifting her head to look at him one more time, she stuck her tongue out, blowing a raspberry his way.

"How is being worried about you treating you like a child? Do you get attacked by bears on a regular occasion?" When Riyo stuck out her tongue at him he chuckled. Reaching for the water sitting on the counter, Klyde opened it and held it out to Riyo. "Stop being a baby and drink something." He teased.
"K..Klyde?"
Hearing his name he turned toward, seeing Mitsu on the other side of the room. It looked as though Desmond and the others had left. "Yeah?"
"Do you mind leaving for a minute.....so I can change?"
"Oh...yeah," Turning to Riyo he gave her the water before taking his leave, "I'll be back in a little while." In the mean time he was going to get something to eat....before he attempted to eat someone.
Once all the boys had left leaving only Riyo and Atticus in the room, Mitsu started to move. Atticus had no doubt seen her this way...and he was a doctor after all. Shifting to her side she started to push her way up, trying to limit the use of her stomach muscles. When she was finally somewhat upright the blankets fell away and for the first time she could see the extent of the damage done. Her arms and torso were covered in bright patches of blue, purple, and even black. Bracing herself on one arm a hand touched the much larger bruise across her stomach.
With a sigh she reached for her bag and started to dig through it. Thankfully she had a long sleeve hoodie and once she found it she gingerly put it on and it was obviously with effort. When the top part of her was dressed she grabbed a pair of pants and put them on as well, never leaving the bed for fear she would fall. Once fully clothed she laid back down uncovered feeling a little less awkward. At least her clothes hid the majority of her bruising so hopefully there would be no strange questions from the teachers as well.
"Thank you Mr. Rall...for helping me." She said softly, looking over in the doctor's direction.

Riyo waved as she took the drink from his hands, only taking a drink when he left. It felt good to finally have something on her throat. She'd have to thank him later when she was done pouting about being helpless.
Looking up from his book as his last name was mentioned, Atticus's gray eyes fell on Mitsu. Thank goodness she'd been able to at least dress herself... though he couldn't help but imagine how painful that must've been. "No need for thanks. It's what I'm paid for." He didn't want to make a big deal out of it since it was something he'd do again if he had to... Though something about Mitsu made him want to work faster. Perhaps it was her child-like appearance and demeanor. She was a sweet girl after all... Unlike Riyo.

"I still want to thank you...and sorry for the trouble." Mitsu said softly. Shifting a bit she took hold of Ludwig who now sat by her bag. Holding him close she closed her eyes trying to convince herself that she was fine and it was all over now.
