I don't think we need to award a prize to the MVP, but it would be nice to declare one every game so that it adds another incentive to the game other than winning. 3nodding Maybe there can be a rank list of players who have been voted MVP the most?

Zach and I were talking about the idea of declaring and MVP and such each game and ultimately we think it is a bad idea. We have a plethora of reasons, a few being: if a person is declared MVP a number of times they will likely get big-headed, MVP's will start being Meta-gamed, declaring a MVP doesn't really look at the all the factors (such as if Aniu hadn't role-claimed to Stag early on and if Ton hadn't granted her a role, she probably wouldn't have done so well). Not to mention all the games where we haven't done an MVP, not really fair to the people who would have gotten it then. I feel like the reason Steff seems so obvious this time is that she messed a lot of things up too. And town still ultimately won. But if Mafia had been more successful earlier in the game then Steff's mistakes would have had more of an impact and town would have lost.
tl;dr: I strongly oppose declaring a MVP.

Hey. It's true I made mistakes. The way you're saying it is starting to hurt my feelings, though. A lot of people do. A lot of people will.
So, if anyone is still reading since it's archived now, I connected many townies and had fun. I also incorrectly confided in 3/5 of the mafia. If I am anything, I'm probably Most Interactive Player, rather than Valuable, lol.
Just let my gameplay be a warning of how dangerous allies can be. You never know how safe you are, with or without them. Personally, I choose whichever way makes the game more enjoyable. It is just a game.
But please don't role reveal right away. *coughAniucough* lol
Btw, Dess' points make sense. MVP might not be a good idea. It might lead to hurt feelings as well as more chaos.
